Welcome to our spacious and light filled fully furnished two bedroom/two bathroom flat in the Richmond, a peaceful neighborhood with lots of restaurants, cafes, book stores and green grocers. Recently renovated, our loft-like flat has oak floors throughout and marble/tile bathrooms. The kitchen's modern conveniences include stainless appliances, granite counters and a marble floor. Street parking abounds. Excellent location for easy and quick public transportation to the Theater District, Pacific Heights, North Beach, Chinatown & Union Square.

Balboa St., only a block away, the commercial spine of the neighborhood is where you'll find the Balboa Theater, one of the last neighborhood movie theaters in the City. Only minutes away by foot, at the edge of the Pacific Ocean is the Cliff House. Come for drinks and stay to watch the sun set. Only a few minutes away, along the Ocean is the Beach Chalet where you can dine on contemporary cuisine in a restored space decorated with WPA murals. Weekend choices abound - you can become a regular at the world renown Ferry Terminal Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Then prepare a splendid meal at home or enjoy any number of modest or grand restaurants for which San Francisco is justly celebrated. There are running paths overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Sutro Heights. Beautiful Golden Gate Park and Lincoln Park with their excellent museums and natural beauty are either a nice stroll or quick bus ride away. And if you have the chance, less than an hour away is N. It certainly could be a very nice place... On the plus side it was in a very quiet location, but before settling in, I had to spend about an hour cleaning. The fridge had not even been wiped out at all. Even some of the cutlery was dirty. And in our bathroom, there was hair in the tub & all over the floor and the toilet had not even been cleaned! Ewwwe! I would have told the owner if she had at least asked if everything was OK... but she didn't.

I am very surprised to see this comment from this renter. It suggests that neither I nor the manager were available to her. That is simply not true. I corresponded with this renter frequently before her stay, providing her with information about San Francisco, as I do for all renters, as well as offering suggestions, at her request, for other places in N. California to visit before her stay in San Francisco. When she and her friends arrived, the manager told her that he could be reached at any time. Of course, the flat was thoroughly cleaned before she and her friends arrived. If she had contacted the manager immediately, with her issues, he could have resolved them. If a renter has an issue, it can be resolved only if the renter brings it up and the best time to bring it up is immediately. In fact, I did contact the renter mid-week to tell her that the manager had entered the flat to turn off the outdoor light. When she returned to the flat, she sent me an email telling me she was very offended by my email. I had written, in humor, that the manager had turned off the outdoor light because I don’t own stock in the electricity company! I apologized and told her it was a joke, not intended to hurt her feelings.

This was our first visit to San Fran, so we were pleased with the locale of our flat. Beverly was great to work with & so helpful thru the whole process. The flat was clean, quiet and the neighborhood was safe. The kitchen was amazing - but I don't cook on vacation - but if you did, this would be a great place for it. It was close to bus lines, several wonderful restaurants, the park and a grocery store. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicely maintained property with a great location. Located between Golden Gate Park, the Presidio and Ocean Beach the condo affords easy access to many activities. Whether you are interested in visiting the de Young Museum, the Legion of Honor or just dining at Cliff House or the Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant the location provides easy access to all. One can also walk the Coastal Trail near Lands End which provides great views of the Bay entrance and Golden Gate Bridge. To visit the downtown or Wharf just hop one of several Bus lines along the major thoroughfares within easy walking distance. A great way to visit a great city.
