Genuinely could not ask for a better location or nicer, cleaner apartment for a stay in San Francisco. Available WiFi was a surprise and a major plus. There is also a great view from the rooftop terrace.
In comparison to even the most basic hotels in a similar location, this property provided us with great value.
The owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with before, during and after our stay. We will definitely be recommending this place to any friend planning on visiting San Fran. -

We had a lovely time in Michelle's studio; it had everything we could ask for (even a bottle of wine to welcome us into her abode) and it was just across the road from a cable car stop. We met Michelle in person and she is the warmest host, gave us plenty of ideas on where to go and what to do and various transport maps and tourist brochures were available for our perusal as well. Being San Francisco, it is on a (steep) hill, but public transport options are available within 1-2 blocks if you do not want to walk. I would definitely recommend and we would love to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped, although the gas stove was "off" when we arrived. We understood why, after we turned it on, as the smell of natural gas was a bit worrying!
The location is great. There are some good restaurants / cafe within a few blocks if you feel like eating out, and a gourmet grocer / deli just a few blocks away if you want to stock your pantry at the apartment! We felt very safe here. And loved the nice touches such as fresh fruit upon our arrival!
We had a few communication problems with the owner ahead of time... did not have the combination code to let ourselves into the apartment, but that was eventually remedied!
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this spot. It was a great place to base ourselves for a few days. Be sure to buy the week long Bart pass, which is fantastic value, and gets you onto all cable cars and buses for one low price! -

This was our first family trip, with my husband and my 17-month old son, so I cared about it so much and hoped everything would be OK. Everything was more than OK!
Ms. Davis was very helpful and incredibly friendly. She provided any help she could and concerned about our little one. We had been arranged to the smaller studio, but as soon as she knew we had a toddler, she immediately re-arranged us to the bigger unit with the same price. We were very touched and thanked for her thoughtfulness.
As to the apartment itself. The condition was quite good and kept quite clean. There were good shampoo, shower gel(with olive and essence oil), conditioner, and even hair dryer(I was so happy when I saw it). It's an old Victorian style apartment, and we are European so are quite familiar with this type of space. Althought the wooden floor was a bit noisy when you passed by, but it won't be an issue after all day travelling around SF. It's very close to the cable car station, so that sometimes we could get some noise. However, our son slept so well so we didn't see it as an issue, just mentioning here for reference.
The location of the apartment is incredibly excellent! Nothing too far from us. For people who have certain budget and don't want to drive up-down hill in SF, this apartment is wonderful. We had to cooked simple meal for our little son, so we walked to the Whole Food supermarket nearby (could also be reached by cable car or bus). In the morning on Sutter Street (which is close and we always walked to there), we enjoyed our breakfast in local cafe. Just around 2 minutes walking, there was a descent cafe where we had one dinner there. Cable car museum is nearby and the information centre where we bought our muni pass is close as well (on the intersection of Sutter Street and Powell Street). Public Transport is wonderful around this apartment.
We could not imagine another place better than this one according to our budget and condition (we have a 17-month-old toddler), and for sure, if we come to SF again, we would love to stay here again! Its price-quality value is undoubtedly good.
Thank you Ms. Davis, we had a wonderful stay in your apartment and have made a wonderful family memory for our little son! -

What a wonderful treat it was to stay at the Cable Car Studio apartment. Perfectly located right near the Cable Car line, in the lovely neighborhood of Nob Hill. This place was fully equipped with everything one would need for an extended stay. Although my stay was for one night, I would happily return for a longer visit to this place. Michelle takes great care in assuring that guests have everything they need and then some. Location is great, neighborhood is nice and surprisingly quiet. The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean and is perfect for a romantic getaway! We will definitely be back, and recommend that anyone coming to the city who doesn't want to deal with a hotel, check this place out!
