This is an elegant, large and very centrally located, view and garden 4 bedroom/2 bathroom property. The four bedrooms have a king, queen, full, single and a sofa bed that becomes a single bed. Two of the bedrooms have doors that open onto a courtyard garden that is a nice quiet place to have moring coffee and read the news paper. The livingroom is a very elegant room with burnt orange and green furnishings with black and white artwork throughout.vThe location is great on the top of Nob Hill and just a 10 minute walk to Union Square and the Moscone center. Our family of 7 stayed at Harkka for the first time on Oct. of 2012. We were attracted to the idea of being able to cook meals in a great kitchen to enable us to spend more quality time together. I can't say how many times we frequented the great corner market for wonderful organic and speciality food items! Chinatown is a brisk walk away for dim sum and the location worked well to go off in any direction. As we spent our days out we were always glad to return to the comforts of Harkka.

This apartment is sensational and the service from owner, Patricia, was impeccable! The decor is clean, modern and elegant. It has all the charm and class of a 5 star hotel, but with more facilities and a better price tag! What more could you ask for??! Patricia provides guidance about where to eat, shop and catch transport from the apartment. It's a convenient and safe location with plenty close by to see. Two of the rooms are small but perfect for single guest / younger travellers. All other spaces are large and fitted out with incredible attention to detail. Love the vintage finds and fixtures! Beds are so comfortable you won't want to get out of them... We still talk about our time in San Fran and this apartment as the best holiday of the whole year. Highly recommend.

Great large apartment located in the heart of San Francisco. Very chicly decorated with a huge kitchen, nice garden and lovely roof deck. The owner, Patricia, is welcoming, very accommodating, and has compiled an extensive list of hot spots in town to aid your visit. Apartment is across the street from a bus stop, and taxis are also easy to flag or call, so a car isn't necessary, which is great considering the difficulty of finding parking anywhere in SF. That said, street parking on the block is easier than most streets. Highly recommended!
