A few fast-facts since I get lots of question in the inquiries:

PARKING:

On the street, in front of the building and it is free of charge. Just make sure you don’t park during Street cleaning on Wednesdays from Noon-2.00pm.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Bus #19 a block away from the Studio will take you to:

• Fisherman's Wharf

• Downtown (Civic Center, Financial District, Union Square)

• Northern SF (Marina, Nob Hill, North Beach, Western Addition)

• SoMa (South of Market, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, Transbay Terminal)

The #10 two blocks up (22nd St & Wisconsin St) will take you t...o:

• Chinatown

• Caltrain Depot

• Downtown (Civic Center, Financial District, Union Square, Embarcadero, Ferry Building, Pacific Heights)

• Northern SF (Marina, Nob Hill, North Beach, Western Addition)

• SoMa (South of Market, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, Transbay Terminal, AT&T; Park, Moscone Center)

22nd Caltrain Station is about 15 minutes walk

GROCERY:

There are a few grocery stores within a few blocks, the closest one being Chiotras Grocery, on Rhode Island & Southern Heights Avenue. You can get milk, cheese, sandwich, tea, coffee, etc. here.

The larger one is the Whole Foods, 5 blocks away, on Rhode Island & Mariposa Ave.

KITCHEN:

Has all kinds of spices, cooking oil, etc. If you need more, Grocery stores are a few blocks away.

BATHROOM:

Complete with huge pumped bottles of Shampoo, Liquid Soap, Conditioner, and Body Lotion. Hairdyer is also provided for your convenience.

WASHER/DRYER:

In unit, comes handy especially for those staying for longer period

THE VERANDA SUITE is a completely remodeled 2 BR/2BA Suite in Stylish Potrero Hill Neighborhood that has everything you need for your San Francisco visit. It is located on the second floor of a 3 unit building.

The Master Bedroom has a Queen-sized Bed with an En-Suite Bathroom. The Guest Bedroom has a Queen-sized Bedroom and a bathroom next to it.

Both bedrooms open up to the Patio and Backyard.

There is also a sleeper sofa in the Living Room for an additional guest.

And even though you have countless restaurants within 10 minutes’ walk, you have the option to enjoy meals at home in the Chef Kitchen equipped with all Brand New kitchen appliances. Washer/Dryer are also available for your convenience.

There is a brand new 42" High Definition TV Multi-Channels Comcast subscription as well as Hi Speed Internet with Wi-Fi connection.

The Bathrooms have the state of the art shower complete with shampoo/shower gel and body lotion provided for you.

Potrero Hill neighborhood is famous for the stunning views of the San Francisco Bay. It is so close to all the City amenities, yet so quiet and serene.

Bus #19 a block away from the Studio will take you to Fisherman's Wharf, Downtown San Francisco n(Civic Center, Financial District, Union Square), Northern SF (Marina, Nob Hill, North Beach, Western Addition), SoMa (South of Market, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, Transbay Terminal).

And those who enjoy Urban walk, the great Potrero Eateries are just 5 blocks away. Give yourself a treat of amazing meals at Chez Papa, Chez Maman, Farley’s Coffee Shop, Goat Hill Pizza, and plenty other restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Whole Foods Market is 6 blocks away (about 10 minutes’ walk).

San Francisco Airport is 15 minutes’ drive, Caltrain Station 15 minutes’ walk, 24th St. BART Station 1.2 miles.

Additional Location Information

Potrero Hill is a great neighborhood for your Urban Hike. It is located very close to San Francisco Downtown, yet you have the 'country setting' with Hiking Trail (Vermont St) while enjoying the city view. Bring your Hiking/Walking shoes!

  Thumbs up for the Veranda Suite! Stepping into the unit, we were greeted by a breathtaking city view. I could sit by the window all day long, relaxing with a good book, a glass of wine and in the company of my hubby. I liked the elegant interior design, funky decor (the owners have good taste), and all the modern conveniences. The unit was very clean, and the shower was quite an experience. Typical of most San Francisco apartments, we could hear neighbor's footsteps from time to time -- but not the traffic outside. We took a 20-min leisure, scenic walk and ate at one of the best restaurants in town. And, forget the gym. one can get a great workout roaming Potrero Hill on a bike or in a pair of running shoes.

  The veranda Suite in Potrero Hill San Fran was excellent

  We stayed for a few days at the Vernada Suite 2Br/2Ba in San Francisco's Potrero Hill and enjoyed it immenseley. The place was very nicely redone with beautiful new bathrooms, kitchen and great mult-nozzle shower as well as new dark hardwood floors. We loved it, and plan to come back again. We felt the price was very good and everything was new including the large TV. We were worried about SF parking but there was plenty of it in their quant neighborhood. The immediate neighborhood has several nice, non-chain restaurants that were very cozy with excellent food.
