Within a 5-15 minute walk radius, our guests have enjoyed many of the city's must see attractions. Guests traveling for business have commented on their easy access to downtown and Moscone Center by way of multiple transit options. While surrounded by many of the city’s most popular areas near the waterfront, the suite provides travelers a calm retreat, or a true home away from home. All newly renovated and tastefully furnished with classic details such as crown molding, the spacious Edwardian two-bedroom suite is located in the northeastern part of the city, which consistently enjoys the best weather. On a flat block (not an alley), the... suite's location merits a Walk Score® of 98, which qualifies it as a 'walker's paradise.' Designed for comfort and privacy, the suite has a living room equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, cable, a new fully equipped kitchen to prepare and enjoy meals, serenely decorated bedrooms with dressers, new queen-sized mattresses, and generous closet space. The bathroom is classically updated and has a combined tub and shower. Free wireless internet is available throughout and a computer desk is available in the kitchen. Both suites in the building can be rented together to accommodate groups up to 8, which is ideal for family reunions, etc. A new shared washer and dryer set is available for the suite’s guests. Relax on the shared roof-deck and enjoy views of Coit Tower, Alcatraz and the city.

On-site parking is available at an additional cost and deposit. This is a non-smoking building and with respect to the neighborhood’s character and local noise laws, no loud parties at any time or excessive noise after 10:00 pm is allowed.

Many popular restaurants such as Mama’s on Washington Square (breakfast and lunch), Original Joe’s (lunch and dinner), Tony’s Pizza Napoletana (lunch and dinner) and Park Tavern (dinner) are within .25 mile/.40 km but if you want to enjoy a home-cooked meal, visit nearby markets such as Trader Joe’s (.23 mile/.37 km) or Safeway (.19 mile/.31 km).

The suite is well located near main thoroughfares such as Bay Street and the Embarcadero and is within walking distance to many attractions such as the North Beach neighborhood (.15 mile/.22 km), the America's Cup Park at Pier 27(.40 mile/.44 km), the future home of the Exploratorium science museum (.84 mile/1.37 km), Coit Tower (.42 mile/.68 km), cable cars (Powell Mason line (.34 mile/.55 km), Washington Square (.20 mile/.32 km), Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral (.20 mile/.32 km), the “crookedest” part of Lombard Street (.61 mile/.98 km), Ghiradelli Square (.77 mile/1.24 km), The Cannery (.60 mile/.97 km), Fisherman’s Wharf (.07 mile/.11 km), sea lions at Pier 39 (.34 mile/.55 km) and Chinatown (.50 mile/.80 km).

Within a 5-15 minute walk radius, see Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, Pier 39, the Embarcadero, America's Cup sites, North Beach, Chinatown, Jackson Square and much more. Prepare a meal in the spacious kitchen with supplies from the nearby Trader Joe's or Safeway or choose from many neighboring restaurants in North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 39. In addition, cable car, street car, and bus stops are very close by and can connect you to more of San Francisco and beyond. A car is not needed but if interested in on-site parking, a garage is available as an option.

  My two sisters and I stayed in this unit May 2-7, and the owner Eleanor,
  was so easy to deal with. She is very thoughtful in providing everything
  you will need in the unit, from toiletries, paper towels, cleaning supplies,
  dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, Kleenex, dish soap, toilet paper etc.
  Upon arrival she greets her guests with fresh flowers,fruit, coffee, filters, juice
  in the fridge, chocolate, scones, real coffee cream, everything to make you feel at home right away. The rooftop patio has a great view, and a fun place to have a happy hour;) We had purchased the San Francisco
  CityPass, but found we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Safeway and Trader Joe's are very close for liquor and groceries. We made some nice meals in the very up-to-date kitchen. It was nice not to have to go to a restaurant for every single meal. It's also close to Pier 39 where there are some wonderful restaurants. Fog Harbour was a favorite. It's also close to Chinatown, which is so much fun to walk around and shop, and go for Dim Sum. Ghirardelli chocolates are a must, and their shop is in walking distance from the condo. The condo is very cute, and makes you feel like you are a local in San Francisco.
  Much more fun than staying in a hotel. I highly recommend anyone
  to stay in this unit, unless you have an issue with going up some stairs. Otherwise, everything is great! We can't wait to book our next trip to San Fran, and because Eleanor goes out of her way to make your stay fabulous, we would surely book her condo again:)Almost
  forgot, Alcatraz is a must see, as well as the aquarium of the Bay at Pier39, and the Exploratorium which is like a Science Centre. Thanks,

  This apartment in terms of its location, cleanliness, style, furnishings and equipment cannot be faulted. It is on a quiet street and even has a garage. We stayed for five nights with our 3 year old. We were met and given guidance about the apartment and the local area in person by the owner who was extremely helpful to us in every way. The roof deck affords wonderful views and coming from Sydney, another 'harbour city', we were delighted to find that we were just 2 blocks from the wharf and the water and the ferries and the ferry building and from the street cars that link this city together so well. We would not hesitate in strongly recommending this apartment to all visitors to San Francisco. An ideal place to stay for the americas Cup! What a great city!

  Thank you for sharing your experience! I know how precious vacation time is and am glad that the suite's comfortable features, amenities, convenient location, etc. made the most of your visit to San Francisco.
  
  Like you, other guests have been very happy exploring the city and beyond without a car. The neighborhood is well served by all modes of public transportion such as cable cars, buses, streetcars and ferries. Nonetheless, as you note, our garage is a very handy option for those who choose to have a car.
  
  
  
  This summer, the waterfront area will be at the top of everyone's must see list as the America's Cup races, the new Exploratorium science museum, and much more will be added to the already lively area.

  Beautiful flat in great location. Decorated with comfort in mind . Great parking option in garage if you have a car. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again if we return to SF! Freddie's across the street great place for a quick sandwich.

  Fantastic apartment in a great location

  My sister and I stayed in the apartment in September 2012. We loved the apartment and the location and had a great vacation in San Francisco.
  The owners were very helpful before, during and after our visit and helped make our stay very enjoyable.
  The apartment was extremely clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The living room and bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed when we wanted to stay in and cook; and it was really useful to have use of the washer and dryer.
  The apartment is a great location, just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach and Chinatown, with loads of great restaurants within easy walking distance.
  There are also a couple of supermarkets close by when you need to stock up on essentials.
  I would definitely recommend the apartment to family and friends and hope that I'll stay here again if I visit San Francisco in the future.

  Great location in a great City!

  My husband and I love to visit the City. It is usually a hit-or-miss with the weather, but staying in this beautifully well-decorated suite was definitely a hit. Every piece of stylish furniture was new; the place was well maintained, and super clean! The view from the roof deck was breathtaking as we were able to see alcatraz Island and passing ships. The location of the condo was perfect as it was a pleasant walk to our favorite upper Grant avenue area. This is where we can leisurely shop at unique bohemian boutiques and eat in a charming Italian or French restaurant. And from the condo, we took advantage of the nearby cable car and went to Union Square for more shopping and dining. The owners were extremely helpful and the photos on the website are true. So, on our next visit, we'll make sure we reserve both condos so our friends can experience the City in a comfortable, classy "home away from home" guesthouse!
