Description from the manager
Fine SOMA Living II
South Park Suite Upper is a gem in the middle of the dynamic South of Market area. Located just two blocks away from the Giants Baseball Field, South Park is in the center of action for the burgeoning restaurant and shopping scene. Though located in a center of activity, the location also has a sense of calm. Upon entering the unit you will find a gracious living room with wood floors and elegant columns. The living room flows into the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. One bedroom looks out upon a small garden area, which is also accessible from the living room.

Rick from AZ
Tucson AZGood place to stay near Moscone Center
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in October 2012
This is a good choice if you are attending a conference at Moscone center. It is an easy walk there. The apartment is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. For some reason they have the back door locked and you can't use the outside deck. Curious. There is a washer and dryer that is also not for the use of the guests.
There is a Safeway that is about a 15 minute walk so a rental car is not a necessity for conference goers. A word about San Francisco Cabs. They are not easy flag and not prompt when you call. This has been a problem for decades so plan accordingly.
This is a two bedroom apartment but one of them is made by partitioning the living area. Still there is privacy and it worked out for two of us using the separate bedrooms. Be aware that there is considerable noise between this one and the one below. It was not a problem for us but could be if the people below were noisy.
There is a little park in front of the apartment which is nice. Across the park is a super little restaurant you want to give a try.
Check in is pretty far away so plan to spend about $60.00 for the cab ride from the airport to pick up the key. Having the key sent to you in advance would have been a good idea and I will do it the next time if I use this apartment.
Overall a much better deal than a hotel. Well worth trying.

My partner and i had a great time in San Francisco and staying at the South Park Suite was great. It was a huge apartment with a full kitchen.. The bathroom was great as well. The only issue i had was it could have been cleaned a little better, what i mean by that is the apartment was very dusty but other than that it was great and we would stay there again if we were to go back... So thank you for a very nice stay.

We rented the South Park Upper Unit for 4 days during May. We were in town to run the Bay to Breakers race and to catch a Giants game. The house had a cool funky charm and was close to everything. We plan on renting this house again for next years race.

Manchester, UKGreat apartment, photos don't do it justice.

Loved the apartment. Spacious and tasteful.
Good kitchen, comfy beds, huge lounge.
Negatives:
1. Letterbox needed fixing (an open hole)
2. Assumed that the washer and dryer in the pictures t would be available for use but they weren't connected. Would suggest this is made clear in apartment description.
3.
Bit of a hassle having to collect and drop off key with no car and lots of luggage.

Jacksonville, FLThis place was amazing

Even though the weather in San Francisco stole the show, this unit came in a close second. This is the first time we have rented a house on vacation so we were a little apprehensive but decided to go for it. It turned out to be a great decision since it was significantly cheaper than 2 hotel rooms it requires to accommodate our family of 4.
The house allowed us to stretch out and relax after our busy days. The large living area and comfortable furniture were fantastic and the breeze blowing across the house made for a wonderful respite from the Florida heat. The master bedroom has a king bed which we did not expect since the description called for a queen. Having a full kitchen was great because we were able to eat breakfast before we left for the day. The unit has a garage you can rent which was fantastic since we wanted to have access to a car for side trips.
The location was perfect. We were close to at&T; Park which means we had many restaraunt choices nearby. There is a Safeway a couple of blocks away to buy groceries. The unit is right on the 30/45 bus lines so that was fantastic as we like to use public transportation as often as we can. We felt safe in the area at all times even though we were home before dark each night.
We had a couple of minor issues when we arrived but the rental firm was available by phone to help us out immediately and to our satisfaction. We did not need to contact them again for the rest of our stay.
All in all, I would highly recommend this house and the rental firm. When we come to San Francisco again, we will definitely seek to use them again. -

Redding CaMuch better than a motel!
Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I will never come to San Francisco again and stay in a motel.Renting a condo is so much smarter. First of all its cheaper, we bought food becuase there is a full kitchen. There were seven of us to feed all of us for three days in s.f it would have been $1000.00. we spent a little over $300.00. So it was much cheaper all the way around. Not to mention it was easier to visit among each other. An overall great experience. It was easy to rent in a great safe area. Only a ten minute walk to the ball park. We can`t wait to do it again next year.

torontoGreat Flat
Left on 08/04/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We travelled with our two children (10 &14) and stayed for two nights at the South Park Upper. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the flat. It was big! The second 1/2 bath was a bonus as was the sleeper sofa. We all had loads of space to hang out. It was bright, well furnished and super clean. The location worked well for us. Having lived in SF for almost a decade, I didn't know South Park that well. It is close to freeways and downtown with a few good restaurants right on the street. My son loved the park across the street from the flat with swings and slides. The kitchen was well equipped for meals in.
The wifi connection was a bit unpredictable however, with a few calls to the staff at Buena Vista, we resolved the issue. The parking was a bit of an issue - two hour street parking with very few spots- but there always seemed to be meter parking at both ends of the street. As other reviewers commented, the pick-up/drop -off key location is on the other side of town. This could be a bit a time issue when rushing off to the airport.
Considering these few negatives, the flat is well worth it! We hope to stay again. -

Apartment was very nice, great design and had all what was needed. I had asked for parking place, was told that it was included but there was another car parked there for the length of our stay. The faucet in the bathroom was liking and then finally it broke. It was fixed but it was a temporary fix
