The Neighborhood

This neighborhood is called Seacliff/Richmond. Ocean Beach is located only two blocks away. You can also walk up to Sutro Heights Park and have incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. The Cliff House and Sutro Baths are located a few blocks away or the San Francisco Zoo is about a mile down the beach. This is a great San Francisco vacation home for vacationers or for those attending one of the conventions in downtown San Francisco. You can jump on bus #31 which takes you directly downtown to Moscone Center. Golden Gate Park is only two blocks away from this home. This large vacation rental home is located a few blocks away from the Balboa Street commercial corridor with a movie theater, restaurants, cafes, lounges, etc. The city limits are only 7 x 7 miles so everything is very close and it is easy to get around by car, taxi or public transportation.

Viewings/Showings

I love when guests are able to stop by and view the home. I live in San Francisco so you can call me on my cell phone and arrange a time to view the home. I am only able to give tours when the homes are empty as I am sure you would not want guests viewing the home when you are occupying the house.

Handicap Access

This home is not very accessible for those with limited mobility since the bedrooms are on the top floor. I would recommend using a hotel in San Francisco which as an elevator.Read more

Vacation Rental Homes in San Francisco have many different prices depending upon holidays, number of nights, special events, etc. Please see the prices below.

2-6 nights: $400 per night (2 night minimum stay – no exceptions)
7-14 nights: $350 per night
15 nights or more: please inquire
Cleaning fee: $150 (one time charge)
Tax: 10%

Holiday/Special Event Rates
- Bay to Breakers, Strictly Bluegrass Festival, Outside Lands Festival, Oracle World, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years: $500 a night (5 night minimum)


Pet Policy

There is a one time charge of $100 to bring your pets. Some people are allergic (such as me) so you can ask when the last time a guest was at the house with a pet. This only happens about once a year since most of my guests are flying in from overseas or from the other side of the country.

Payment is due two months before your arrival (3 months prior for holidays or special events)

How do I make a reservation?

Cancellation policy?
You can cancel giving one months notice or more and receive a full refund. After one month there is no refund.

Is there a security deposit?
Yes. The security deposit of $500 is required about 2 weeks before your arrival. It will be returned to you about 2 weeks after your check out.

When is my reservation confirmed?
If your rental is within two months, you are not confirmed until I receive the rental payment and the rental agreement. If your rental is over two months in the future, you are not confirmed until I receive the two page rental agreement. It is possible that I email you back to let you know that the house is available and the next day it could get booked by another guest. That is why after you receive the rental agreement, I recommend sending it back soon to secure your reservation. It is very common for me to have 2 or 3 rental agreements sent out for the same time and whoever returns it to me first will receive the booking.

These homes are very famous and very popular and I sell out quickly. I understand it takes some time to confirm the booking with your group, buy airline tickets, etc. and by the time you confirm everyone, the house could get booked by another group. But you can make a tentative reservation to hold the date. All you have to do is fill out the reservation form on the website and then I will send you the rental agreement. Most vacation rental companies demand half payment upon booking and the balance due two months before arrival. However, I do not like that policy since some of my guests make bookings far in advance and I don’t think it is fair taking someone’s money a year in advance. No payment is due until 2 month before arrival.
