      We loved our stay!!

Left on 02/25/2013 for a stay in December 2012

We absolutely loved staying in this condo! What you see online is exactly what you are going to experience - - you will not be disappointed! The condo's linens were extra soft, everything was clean and the appliances were shiny and modern. In short, you can walk in and know that you are staying in the right place, with money well spent.

My husband and I stayed with our child, and I have to mention just how safe we felt. You are in your own condo, but you are also, in a building with a main door with a code and a secure entrance. I appreciated this greatly and felt very safe, considering parts of San Francisco are not safe.

You do have the cable car that comes, it seems, every half hour or so until midnight. This is really hard to get used to, but once you do, it's manageable. I would strongly recommend bringing a sound machine and ear plugs to drown it out. We had both and we were fine. It is very convenient that the cable car comes to your front door - - be forewarned, it's a $6.00 ride / each way, I believe. We actually chose to either walk to the the water ( around 20-25 minutes ) or take a cab ( surprisingly, to the water, only $5-7).

Melissa and Nick were so great to work with and this can make such a huge difference when traveling. They were prompt in all messaging and very professional. When you are in a large city, on your own, this is greatly appreciated. They also were kind enough to provide a hi chair and pack and play, which took away so much worry for us, with all of our traveling.

I would highly recommend staying here, absolutely! Know that you will not only enjoy the condo, you will also enjoy the surrounding area. And, let's not forget, that great kitchen to cook a nice meal in after a long day of sightseeing. Happy travels! : )

      Great Birthday Trip!

Left on 10/26/2012 for a stay in October 2012

Melissa was easy to contact and her husband was very nice. The space was very neat and and clean when we arrived. Also the bed and couch were comfortable, me and my friends alternated during our stay. The place has access to a lot of trolley's so you catch them to almost area you want to go in the area (Pier 39, Chinatown, Embarcodero, Financial district, etc..). Be warned though that the trolley's run till about 12:30 am and you hear them clang the bells every time they pass by as long as the windows are closed its not too bad. I would suggest you buy Muni pass before you get to the condo though, as the trolleys cost about $6 per trip. I would definitely stay again.

      Exactly as pictured

Left on 10/05/2012 for a stay in September 2012

From the moment of booking until our departure everything went smoothly. Melissa's communication with us was prompt. The apartment was located central to the San Fran in an original style SF building with views of the water & bridge. The trolley cars junction, had one line stop at the front door the other around the corner. We found this easy for travelling to the pier for restaurants and tourist areas and also to the city for shopping. ( my first thought was to stay at a motel on the pier- we are so glad we didnt, and went with this apartment) The apartment was just as pictured, exceptionally clean ( a credit to the cleaner) The clothes washer & dryer- I want the same, these appliances were brilliant. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. A/C in lounge & bedroom. The bed comfortable with room very quite of a night despite the passing trolleys. Free Wifi and free local phone calls were available. We would recommend this apartment 100% no problems whatsoever.

Fantastic place to stay in SF.

Left on 06/22/2012 for a stay in June 2012

What a wonderful place to stay. The experience starts by dealing direct with the owner, Melissa. From the outset, all her communications were warm and personable. All emails were answered quickly and with all the requested detail.

We arrived late in the evening. It was great to have somewhere to just crash out. (The worlds softest bed!) Travelling with a small child, having laundry facilities was a blessing. The flat is well situated, and made very accessible by the cable cars running past in both directions. The flat is very well decorated with quality appliances. The location is also nice and quiet (apart from the occasional rumble of a passing cable car.)

A great place to stay in a great location. Will stay here again if back in SF.

      Perfect holiday apartment

Left on 05/13/2012 for a stay in April 2012

Melissa and Nick have done a fantastic renovation in this old building. The apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished with quality appliances and fittings. Having a washer and dryer is a big bonus when you're travelling as is the free wifi. There's plenty of storage and the kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is in the middle of all the cable car routes, but the quadruple glazing means there's no noise disturbance.
Make sure you visit the Cable Car Museum on the next corner to see how it all works.
The Gallery Cafe across the road makes proper expresso coffee and breakfasts. One block up the hill is Nob Hill Cafe and a convenience store. Chinatown is down the hill. If you want to cook in there's a Safeways and Trader Joe's at the end of the Mason line in Bay Street. The Powell line takes you to Union Square.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we returned to San Francisco.

Great location, great accomodations, great experience!

Left on 02/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012

A business trip brought my family and I to San Francisco... we made a vacation out of it and met up with our extended family. We rented this flat as well as another in the same building so we could all be near each other. Traveling with a larger group and a 12 month old we were looking for a place with more room to accommodate our family all hanging out and this was a perfect fit! The owners even supplied us with a pack-n-play for the baby! The place was beautifully decorated, clean and in an excellent location! The beds were super comfortable, with luxury linens. There was a walkway in the back that allowed access to the other units if your group is renting more than one. In this area there is a washer and dryer that all units are welcome to use. What a luxury! We took advantage of being able to wash things rather than travel with a week's worth of clothes. (anyone with a small child knows how helpful this can be!) The cable car stops right outside the front door which was very convenient and fun helpful in providing us with places to visit and places to eat. Part of our group drove in to meet us and they were able to rent a parking spot in the garage on the lower level. This is huge convenience considering how crazy parking can be in SF! Check in was easy as can be - there are door codes for both the main entrance and to each individual unit. No hassle of carrying keys... this was a huge help for us since we were all off doing different things at different times. We had a great family trip and would absolutely use this property again! Thank you to Melissa and Nick for being such a pleasure to do business with! We look forward to coming back to San Fran... what a great city!
