We loved staying in this "typical" Pacific Heights home! It had all the amenities we needed for a comfy stress - free vacation. The location was excellent - very easy to walk - or grab a cab - to anywhere in the city we wanted to go. Although - there were only 3 of us staying at the place - there would have been plenty of room for 2 more people. We cooked in the kitchen a few nights - lounged around and watched the flat screen and hung out in the living room a lot as well. The heating was a little "funky" - but after you got the hang of where the heat was coming out - it was fine. We loved the place!

Great family retreat

We rented this apartment as a home base for a week of sightseeing in San Francisco. If you don't mind walking hills, the location was great. The architecture in Pacific Heights is amazing. Transportation was easy - we took the bus going in many directions. The apartment itself was lovely and well appointed. Our teenage daughters (13 and 16) loved the Tiffany blue front bedroom and adjoining bath. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed amazing views from the park nearby.

We spent nearly a week at Pacific Heights retreat and were very pleased with our choice. It's spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The only downside is that it's a fairly long walk to some of the tourist attractions (Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown etc) so you'll be relying on the (very good) buses or cabs. On the other hand it's a very short walk to the great shops, bars and restaurants on Fillmore Street.
great location, and comfortable beds! What more do you need!

Location was great, and beds were comfortable after days full of walking/hiking/biking around san francisco. Great home that felt like you were visiting friends as the art and furniture were stuff you may indeed buy for your own house.

We vacation with our teenage boys and we find that a good vacation rental can feel just a luxurious as a nice hotel with much more space at a fraction of the cost of a hotel. This rental fit the bill perfectly. It is a spacious two bedroom rental with a nice living room and a lovely back garden where you can sit and watch hummingbirds fly through the trees.
The kitchen is very functional with nice appliances. The decor is interesting, many asian themed antiques.
The parking spot was great but dont rent larger than a Chyrsler 300 sedan as that was a tight squeeze. I am not sure that an SUV would fit

A great October getaway in San Francisco

This was a great house to stay at! We enjoyed the comfort, location, ease of finding amenities. The old victorian house is beautiful. The one problem we faced was the lack of parking. We rented a Ford Explorer SUV and it was too big to park in the attached garage so we parked on the street but finding a spot seemed to be a constant issue but we made it work and would stay there again but probably rent a smaller vehicle.
