This property was a great location. We were 4 women running the Nike's Women's Marathon. It was well stocked, but we didn't cook any meals. Just coffee and brought in breakfast. We walked everywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location ,Unconfortable bedrooms for couples

Near from cable car , the center and Trader Joe's.
Bedrooms must be considered for three couples! We are a Family of seven and we fit but was very unconfortable. Beside the old fashioned bedrooms, the house is good and has a nice kitchen and dining room.
Recomended for a romantic group of friends, not for a huge family!

Outstanding location and apartment for family vacation in San Fr
Left on 08/29/2013 for a stay in August 2013 | Herb
If you are planning a family trip to San Francisco this apartment is perfectly located to "base" your family for all the exciting things to see and do in The City. The apartment had ample space and functioned very well for our family party of nine, four who are grandchildren, ages 13-10. The apartment is located half a block off Nob Hill, making it half a block to the California St. cable car, and about two blocks to the Powell and Mason, and Powell and Hyde cable car lines. Riding the cable cars as part of our transportation to various destinations; i.e., Chinatown, Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, at&T; Park and Ghiradelli Square was a big hit with the grandkids. Paid parking is available about a block away from the apartment, which worked well as we needed a van for some of our excursions. We did purchase Muni passes for everyone, as they save a great deal on transportation fares very quickly, and we rode the Muni for most all of our activities in The City. The apartment has a full kitchen, which we used mostly for breakfasts, and one dinner. There's a Trader Joe's market about two blocks from the apartment, and a small grocery store half a block away at the bottom of the hill, so it's convenient to pick up whatever you need during your stay. The description and pictures of the apartment are very accurate regarding the rooms and the furnishings. Since the bathrooms are both off the main hallway, they worked well in a family situation, but may require some planning if you're in a situation other than that. The apartment is on a steep hill, and is located on the 3rd floor of the building. This was not a problem for us. However, it is something to be aware of if you're considering this apartment as the hill and many steps getting to the apartment, or taking the trash to the garbage cans could be a problem for some. We did have some questions prior to renting the unit, and one while we were there, and the management group responsible (Boutikia) was always helpful.
large, comfortable apt/ condo that met the needs for our family

This three bedroom, two bathroom condo located in Nob Hill was strategically located for my family's vacation stay in SF. The full service kitchen and laundry room is a must for a family while on vacation. However, not ideal for elderly or physically disabled as location of house is on a steep slope.

Perfect location for this confortable apartment in a typical San Francisco house.
A detail to improve, as whe are used to seat in a dining room for dinner, we could suggest to change the seats ( very low sitting)!

Wonderful house that is huge for the area. We loved the layout and how well stocked with supplies it was. With the Trader Joes just around the corner we saved a ton of money by cooking breakfast and dinner at the house instead of having to eat out. There are cute resturants near by if the kids are old enough to leave alone. We arrived in SFO at 12 noon and were told that we could check in right away. We would definately rent this home again!
Also, the company is top notch when returning emails and phone calls. When the dates we needed were not available on my inquiry he found this and another property for us to choose from right away.
Wonderful property in great neighborhood

-Nice wood floors, modern appliances, comfortable beds, fast internet, great communication, reasonable parking prices.
-Trader Joe's 2 blocks away, very close to several of Sf's great neighborhoods.
-The property is on a significant hill. Truly steep! Fine for me but one of our party had trouble with that--just something to note.
-The wireless internet doesn't reach the back rooms--although I must say that was sort of a blessing as I wans't tempted by my gadgets.
-Tmobile cell coverage in the apartment was terrible, Verizon was great.
Lovely, comfortable home with all the essentials

A group of us (graduate students and postdoctoral researchers) were in San Francisco for a conference, and we booked this place for a cheaper and more comfortable stay than you could get at a hotel. It was definitely both of those things - split between us, we paid substantially less than we would at a hotel, and we were all quite comfortable in the house. It was clean, spacious, bright, quiet, and in a lovely neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, the living room was bright with comfortable couches, and the bathrooms contained everything we needed (hairdryers, shampoo, soap, towels, etc). The kitchen was large and again had all of the basics that we needed (e.g. coffeemaker, microwave, dishes and cups, water filter). The home was impeccably maintained, and it was larger than we expected.
The people at Boutikia were a pleasure to deal with. They responded to messages in a timely manner, answered any questions we had, and provided us with clear instructions with respect to what was expected of us in terms of clean-up. The process of renting went smoothly and I couldn't have expected anything more.
Finally, they were willing to provide us with separate receipts, which I can't say all companies/vacation rental owners do - but it was necessary as we were getting reimbursed for this work-related event. This was very much appreciated.
Note that the home is on a steep hill and if you plan on walking around the city, getting back to the house can involve a lot of uphill climbing - to be expected in SF and Nob Hill in particular, but something to keep in mind. None of us minded and it really is in a beautiful location.
Highly recommend renting from Boutikia, and this home in particular was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable!
Did not quite meet expectations

It was a lot like Internet dating, the photos were a little more attractive than in reality. It still served our purposes better than purchasing hotel rooms for our party of five. The fixtures in the bathroom are old and clunky. The WiFi only works in the living room and is not very robust there. In order to retain our deposit, we were required to take the trash out back through an area inhabited by homeless through a dark tunnel that has a light but the switch is broken.
I don't think I will be coming back to San Francisco as we paid $250 in tax on a four night stay. If I do I will stay in Oakland and ferry in.

Fantastic location and a great way to experience the city of San Francisco... It was close to the cathedral, downtown, union square, cable car and was on a very enjoyable steep street! Our team rented this and the Nob Hill Penthouse in the same building and enjoyed every minute. Both places were clean, well maintained and much much better for us than staying in a hotel. The booking and check-in process was seamless and all details were looked after.
We recommend Boutikia!

Clean and beautifully decorated. Walking distance to Chinatown, Union Square, near public transit. Nice kitchen stocked with plenty of cooking tools. Two of the three bedrooms are big and bright (the other is small but comfy). Great value, helpful owner. The street is on a pretty steep hill, so this may not be the best choice for disabled travelers. I would recommend this property to everyone else. Can't wait to go back.

A fantastic place. There were 4 adults and there were enough space for everybody. If I have the opportunity to travel again to SF, I just hope to have the possibility to book again this house !!
