Mission TexasNice area!
Left on 04/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We spent Spring Break 2013 here, 6 nights. Since we arrived late, it was difficult to find the mailbox w/our key... The home is in very good condition, comfortable beds & in a really beautiful part of SF. We really didn't cook here, ate out at amazing restaurants, and used the Uber car service to get around - much better than a taxi! Overall a great experience, thanks to Jan for the help in getting us booked!

Cambridge, MassachusettsFantastic and spacious home
Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Fantastic and spacious home for our group of 6 adult family members. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Living room and dining room were big enough for all of us. Love the unique features of this home with built in hutches, drawers, and lots of big closets and two-way entry to bathrooms; very charming. If you like to read, there's a host of various types of books on the shelves; movies, and games too; and free wifi! Deck outside of master bedrooms was a nice plus. Big enough to be together and because this home is more long than wide, you could actually get some quiet time too. Parking was on the street as available, but we didn't have any problem finding a spot. Presidio across the street. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Rental exceeded expectations.

My wife and I stayed here (with our 18 month old daughter) for a little over a week when we moved to San Francisco. We love the area...I cannot state that strongly enough...and the house itself is large and comfortable.

MaineGreat location and good for our family
Left on 08/04/2011 for a stay in July 2011
There were 4 adults and 2 small children in our group and for all of us it was a good space. The apartment is large with two very good sized bedrooms, 2 smaller ones which were good for the children. The location was great; just off an entrance to the Presidio and on a quiet street. Parking was never a problem.
For our purposes the apartment was good, however, it is a bit worn (kitchen, furniture) but nothing too bad. One bathroom was large; the other quite small. There were only two things that I would suggest: great need for more towel hooks or bars in the large bathrooms; our bedsheets did not feel fresh-they probably were clean but a bit creepy.

Big spacious apartment, with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Perfect for a family or mutilpe couples. Very nice neighborhood. not walking distance to attractions or public transit, but on-street parking was easy (and free) so it worked out great. Apartment comes with laundry (very convenient). Kitchen is only negative, a bit old and small, but everything worked, so it was no problem. Overall a very nice apartment, very spacious, in a great neighborhood, for a fair price.

Cherry Hill, NJBad Experience
Left on 07/13/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Getting the key was a very big hassle in a city where we don't know our way around, and the agent was very rude to us. The bathrooms were rather crummy. We had no instructions on how to put out our trash. And why didn't someone have enough courtesy to leave us with some salt and pepper? I don't mind supplying my own food, but salt and pepper could be included for the price. Very dissatisfying experience.

Kolding, DenmarkSurprisingly good apartment
Left on 02/24/2011 for a stay in December 2010
Our family of 6 stayed two nights in this wonderful place, located in Presidio. Looking from the outside it didn't seem like anything special, but it turned out to be a huge apartment with large rooms, plenty of space and a beautiful view from the balcony. Only too bad that we only could rent it for two days, we would have liked to stay longer. Definitely beats any hotel offer in SF, if you are a larger family.

San FranciscoUpscale neighborhood apt.
Left on 02/17/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This property was unique as it is one of the best residential neighborhoods in the city and is next to parks and golf. I am a resident of SF and renting between moves. This is neighborhood of multi-million dollar homes. Also, very convenient to local shopping and only about 15 minutes from Union Square. Also, many fine local restaurants nearby.

The residence was more than what we expected. It was very large, very comfortable, and met our needs well. Only a few minor negatives. The microwave is very noisy, and I thought there was a designated parking space, but there wasn't.

Los AngelesWonderful unit for large family
Left on 01/06/2011 for a stay in December 2010
Four of us recently stayed here (upgraded from a smaller unit) and this is a unit suitable for 7 people. The location is great and the unit itself is old but very well kept together. Parking is on the street so there are restrictions. The neighborhood is more upscale so there aren't shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Will need a car to get around. The only problem with the unit was the internet connection didn't really work according to the instruction but there was another free Wifi available if you try from the back rooms. Overall a very satisfactory stay and would definitely stay here again in the future if traveling with a larger group.

Longmont, ColoradoTrue San Fran...gorgeous!
Left on 08/11/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our stay: Stayed here during the 4th of July holiday w/ immediate & extended family. Infant - Adult. Rented both the lower & upper units.
Size: It may look small in the front but it is very spacious. The dining rooms are gigantic as are both of the living areas. The master bedrooms were beautiful & had either a huge walk in closet or a vanity area attached to a bathroom along w/ access to the back deck. The Queen bedrooms also had access to the deck & large closets. The other two bedrooms in both units attached to a bathroom.
Location: U are in very good company staying here. Multimillion dollar homes surround Ur own multimillion dollar home. The presidio is literally around the corner & the there are shops just south of the house west on California.
Parking: There is only street parking, but that never was really a problem. There are signs posted about parking limits & such; we never had a problem. Coming home late at night was the only problem & we merely had to park on the corner, which is about a half minute walk.
Tips: Ask where to take the trash out. If U're in the upper unit there is a trash chute! Use it for me; we found it when we were leaving. Grrr. Take air freshener or scented candles. Remember U are in S.F. & it is a rental. Air Wick plug ins will make U happy. In the upper unit; one of the bedrooms has a high bed. My mom stayed in it, she's really short. There's a cool chair in the master bathroom that turns into a step stool. Again, use it for me; we found it our last day. Grrr. The lower unit's living area...well...it needs some love. Use the blankets from the closet to cover up the couches & U're golden. The inner stairwell between both units was so convenient. Just remember to stop at the first toilet U see. Yes, U read me right, stop at the first toilet U see.
Overall: Wonderful time, beautiful houses. U'll want to buy it when its time to leave. U just need to find that extra 2.5 million in Ur change jar.

The facilities were enough space for the family, well furnished, but small problems like doorknobs and lights had not been repaired before we moved in.

This property is in a great location! Easy access to almost anything in the city. Parking was available no matter what time of day I out and about. The house itself had so much room. You will love this property to relax in, or to enjoy the view from the balcony.

Menlo Park, CAComfortable home for celebration
Left on 06/02/2009 for a stay in May 2009
My family - some from out of town and some from out of state - wanted a place in San Francisco to celebrate my father's 94th birthday.
I found Casa Buena Rentals on line and we couldn't have been happier with the Presideo Lower Unit. The rooms were very nicely decorated, it had an amazing view plus a large dining room for our big dinner. We watched old family movies on the big screen tv, played board games and went for hikes in the beautiful trails nearby. The kitchen was well appointed for our large meals too.
I highly recommned using this company, they were very helpful and friendly to work with.
And we are hoping to return and rent the upper unit with more family in 2010! -
