Apartment Vettore is part of Casa Carotondo, an old farmhouse constructed of stone. The apartment is on the ground floor of a large extension to the original farmhouse.The entrance and terrace are to the right of the building. There is a view of the mountains from the terrace while the windows of the apartment face northwest with a view of hills and woodland. The northerly aspect ensures that the apartment stays cool in summer. All windows have been fitted with fly screens. Apartment Vettore has its own entrance and and outdoor terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining. A large oak tree provides welcome shade during part of the day i...n the summer.The apartment is about 85 sqm and sleeps 4-6 people. It has been newly renovated throughout to a high standard with the old stone walls left exposed where practicable. The unusually large windows, high ceilings and generous room sizes give this apartment a pleasantly light and airy feel.

Apartment Vettore and has a seperate, modern and fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and filter coffee machine. The living area is large, consisting of a dining and a sitting area. In the sitting area there are two large comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed). For your entertainment there is satelite TV, a DVD player and sound system. We have a small library of DVDs and books for guests. The dining area has a large extendable table and chairs for six people. The wood burning stove in the living area will provide a warm cosy atmosphere on cool evenings. For very cold days there is the additional convenience of a full central heating system. There is an internet connection in the apartment.

The large main bedroom of the apartment contains a double bed with side tables and lamps, a chest of drawers, mirror and wardrobe. The second bedroom contains two single beds with side tables and lamps, a chest of drawers and wardrobe. The arrangements for the beds can be changed. We also have a child's bed suitable for a baby from 3 months to toddlers of up to 4 years. Please let us know your requirements when you book.

The main bathroom is en-suite. Each bathroom comprises a toilet, bidet, a large shower and washbasin. The second bathroom is just across the corridor from the second bedroom.

Outside a large terraced garden on two levels has been created for guests to use. The garden has stunning views of the Sibillini mountains. It faces south-west, however some shade is provided by the old oak trees that surround the property. The garden comprises paved and grassy areas as well as flower beds. There are plenty sun loungers available.

A communal washroom is available to guests with a washing machine, sink, ironing board and iron. A small library comprising books, DVDs and games has also been set up.Read more

Casa Carotondo is located in Central Italy in the region of Le Marche and in the province of Macerata. It is close to the Sibillini Mountains, which provide an ideal playground for those wishing to hike and enjoy nature. The house sits atop a small hill surrounded by wood and farm land. It is in a peaceful location but only a short drive from the lively market town of Sarnano with its wide range of shops and tourist facilities.
A number of important medieval towns with their respective cultural riches such as Macerata, Tolentino and Ascoli Piceno are within easy reach. The Sibillini Mountains are close offering opportunities for walking, cycling and many other sports. If all that sounds too much just drive up to the mountain passes, have a picnic and take in the views. The Adriatic coast of Le Marche with its blue flag beaches also beckons. An excellent location for watersports, lounging in the sun or trying out the excellent beach-side fish restaurants.
