We came for a week with our 16 month old. The apartment terrace has a stunning view, & lots of room for eating, lounging, toddlers to totter about. The apartment was clean & comfortable. The only down side was carrying a buggy up steps to get to it but it was worth it for the view & wasn't too challenging! The pool was lovey too. The town was very chilled & peaceful in early October but enough people and things open to feel about right for us. Lots of lovely cafes & bars, & the beaches are perfect for a toddler too. Weather was perfect too. We got a taxi to & from the airport, takes about 40 minutes.

Stayed for one week in Bahia Vista, apartment 16, with my husband and eight year old daughter. Nina, the agent, was helpfulness personified before, during and after I made the booking. Would highly recommend the apartment and the town of San Jose. This was my first time to Spain and I can only recommend both the complex and the area to anybody wanting to see the real Spain. The beaches are lovely, particularly Genoveses, which is well worth the lengthy walk in hot sun and some of the smaller beaches around the town were really nice. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The families around the pool were very friendly and our daughter quickly made friends with the other children. Unlike a lot of small developments, the pool is a good size and a welcome place to cool down after lunch. The view from our balcony was, as advertised, completely breathtaking at all times of the day and night. My only minor suggestion would be echo another reviewer who said that aircon would have been a welcome improvement as the nights were very hot and the ceiling fan not quite sufficient to keep me cool enough to sleep soundly. Of course, an afternoon snooze was our remedy for this. The food was beyond our expectations with a couple of stand out restaurants in the town. All in all, a lovely holiday, one which we hope to repeat.

Great place and a very nice apartment, Nina!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a lovely apartment in a clean, well-kept and maintained, extremely safe and very pretty complex with a pool. The apartment itself, although its furnishings were not particularly modern, was extremely comfortable, with sizeable rooms and certainly had everything we could possibly need, including a powerful shower, wifi, stereo, DVD player, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, hob & oven etc and most importantly absolutely amazing views of San Jose and the sea. You could quite happily spend the rest of your life sitting on the large balcony (which also has a shaded trellis area with table & chairs!) staring at that view! The balcony is also a fantastic place to entertain friends. The organisation and helpfulness of the managing agency, SanJoseSpain, was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They even provided a highchair and travel cot which were absolute lifesavers. A thoroughly wonderful place to stay and we will definitely return. The only thing to note is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the apartment itself so you need to be mobile. However, we managed it carrying a baby and buggy fine! And it is certainly worth the effort for the spectacular sea views! If there was to be any improvement to move the apartment up to an 'excellant' rating it would only be the installation of air con. However, the rooms have ceiling fans which worked extremely well so it was a perfectly comfortable temperature in the apartment. All I can say is do go and stay there. It is a wonderful family holiday location.

Fantastic service from arrival to departure. The managing agent endeavour's to ensure you have a stress - free holiday.
A lovely, compact studio apartment with glorious views of San Jose and the mountains.
Within walking distance of the beach, restaurants/bars and shops.
We loved San Jose and lying in bed, listening to the waves on the beach was just heavenly.
