      The perfect place to reconnect!

Left on 02/19/2012 for a stay in March 2011

My husband and I found this B&B; by chance, but after just one stay we have returned year after year. It is the perfect place to reconnect with your inner self as well as with the one you are with. We came looking for peace, nature and comfort. We found all of that, plus friendship. It is the vacation that restores you.

It was totally relaxing, an oasis away from the rest of the worl

Left on 01/31/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We started each day with a magnificent sunrise and a walk on a secluded beach where we never saw another person. We were served the most amazing breakfast from a menu we selected the day before.

We could then lounge on the beach or by the pool. We had our Kindle's and we were content. We got adventurous and rode horses on the beach or went out for a long walk on the beach.

The accomodations were very comfortable and clean. They were decorated just how you would expect a quaint Mexican hacienda to be decorated. We had a darling young lady make our beds, do our dishes and clean the guest house each day.

You need to understand you are in a remote area without cell or blackberry service. It is a place to go to get away and chill out. You are not walking distance to a town or a restaurant. The owners are very accomodating and will work with you for whatever you need. We cooked our own dinners on a BBQ by the pool and it was great.

      Paradise

A true vacation, mostly beyond words. Nothing is more rewarding than watching the whales with their little ones, laying on a beach that is totally private, and eating beautifully prepared food. The proprietor does everything to make you enjoy your stay . I simply can't say enough about this establishment.

      Perfect east cape escape

Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in December 2011

Thinking we'd work through the holiday turned out to be a bad idea and we jumped at some cheap Virgin fares and grabbed someone's last minute cancellation at las bocas on Vrbo. What a great call. Marty and loyd took great care of us at their idyllic on the beach paradise. They are self contained and you can even drink the filtered water from the tap. Oh, did I mention Marty is a Fantastic cook? make sure to take the horses out on the beach..

Unplugged and total relaxation at this beautiful home!

Left on 01/26/2012 for a stay in March 2011

If you are looking for a private, beautiful and peaceful place I recommend the Boca De Las Palmas. We look forward to staying here for many reasons and are never disappointed. The sunsets, whale watching, boogie boards, horseback riding... its just the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The owners are excellent hosts from providing great food, transportation and knowledge of the area. The guest house has all the amenities you would want and its very comfortable and clean. Secluded and private yet 20 minutes to cafes and grocery stores.

Private beach, amazing food, delightful hosts, great accomodatio

Left on 01/21/2012 for a stay in January 2012

The hosts are very fun and accommodating. Home and casita comfortably allows] two couples or a family to stay in separate quarters and come together for meals and walks on the beach only steps away from your rooms. They have an infinity pool and spa that are very clean and heated to a comfortable temperature and hosts will either cook for you or you can do what we did by making dinner and having hosts provide breakfast (included in the B&B;). We enjoyed the best breakfast menu selection and food ordered to your time preference and huge quantities of tropical fruit every morning and authentic mexican (or american if you choose) yummy breakfasts. We cooked dinners in a well stocked kitchen in the casita and the outdoor barbeque. No concerns about water (they have their own filtrations system so we drank from the tap and ate all foods without concern.
Comfortable beds and lounges on the beach or the pool; so you definitely have the ability to get lots of sun or stay in the shade.
Sunsets are so brilliant and beautiful and opportunity to either walk or ride horsed on the beach.
The hosts are very fun and knowledgeable. They picked us up from the airport and take you to the market to buy your food for the week and supplies. We stayed a week with no need for a car. They have internet and cable television and free use of a phone that works in the us; but my blackberry was out of range, so for me a perfect unplugged vacation.
I can't say enough nice things about the location (pristine beach) and probably this isn't for the person who wants to go out to restaurants (although there is a good one about 12 miles away) or golf but roads are bumpy and it is 1 hr from airport.
Hosts have lots of dogs, cats and birds and are interesting. They also have horses available for a small fee to ride on the beach! I felt safe, pampered and totally relaxed after my week stay. One of the best weeks ever to relax and have perfect weather daily.
