My fiancé and I stayed at the coral baja in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. This was out first vacation together. When we arrived at the coral baja resort we were greated by the staff right away with a drink and smiles. This resort is so beautiful. Our room was more then amazing! Pat you did a awesome remodel and had everything we needed. We spent most if our days at the pool and played pool volleyball. They have so many fun exciting things to do at this resort. Bingo, water aerobics, swim up bar, horse back riding on the beach, friendly staff and great all around vacationers. The beach was so beautiful and the view from our room was beautiful as well. We had a great time boogie boarding and the ocean was pretty warm. We decided to go into town twice and also ventured out to Cabo. Both places seemed to be safe but we never went out at night just stayed at our resort where we knew wed be safe. We cooked most our meals due to how expensive it was to eat out. Theres a walmart right down the road from the resort. we did find a few places in San Jose that were great. All around I'd love to go back to the coral baja! Thank you pat for everything you did for us:)

My husband and I just returned from Pat Lillo's condo at Coral Baja. We loved it! The condo was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities you'd need for a great vacation. Being able to hear and see the ocean from the condo was a big plus. Coral Baja staff were great. We would definitely come back again.

My husband and I just returned from a week at Coral Baja and couldn't have asked for more. A quick cab ride got us to the resort where the consierge met us with welcome drinks. Our room wasn't ready so we changed and headed to the pool while the front desk stored our luggage while we enjoyed the sunshine. Pat's 4th floor unit was perfect! Everything we needed and a large balcony twe enjoyed dinner on a few nights. Music fills the resort every night centering around different activities. Bingo (1pm at the pool everyday) , beach volleyball, shuffleboard, and countless other games at the front desk are available at the front desk to play. You will never be bored even if you never leave the resort. We posted up on the beach under an umbrella most days which was a little quieter than the busy pool. However we did make our way to the pool bar at 2pm to catch happy hour!
We also loved how quick it was to get to San Jose. We enjoyed the art walk on Thursday and dined at Tequilas and Tropicana throughout the week. Make sure to catch Rosa De Cuba at the Tropicana for some live music and fantastic entertainment!

The Coral Baja is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the sun. No need to go whale watching, you can see them passing on a daily basis. The upkeep/maintenance on this resort is done daily and everything is clean and well kept. All units face the pool/beach/ocean. Pat is an excellent owner and leaves no stone unturned in providing guests with information and help. She is well respected by the resort staff and surrounding shop owners. Pat has recently updated the unit and it furnished with everything you need, including in-suite Wi Fi. The resort can assist you with car rentals, excursions...you name it...they can't do enough for you. It's the reason we return so often. This resort is so popular even Worldmark members have to wait to book in...so this rental option is fantastic...however, book early. When people come once to the Coral Baja, they almost always want to come back.

We will be back! The bed is very comfortable and the unit has everything you need for pool, beach and cooking in. The ceiling fan in the bedroom makes a little bit of a pulsating noise and the wireless internet signal is strongest in the bedroom, bathroom and hallway area as the signal is broadcast from unit 412 bedroom area one floor down. The signal gets weaker as you move towards the balcony. Because of an electrical outage, Pat Lillo was very persistant at getting the wireless up and running and was extremely available via e-mail (had to use the lobby's wireless for a bit)for any questions or concerns about the unit. A true professional! Thanks Pat!

We stayed in Pat's unit # 412 at the Coral Baja for 2 weeks in November and enjoyed a "dream" vacation while there.
The view: Situated right on the ocean, we got stunning views of the ocean, beach, palm trees and pool.
The location: Wonderful. Close to the Mega (for grocery shopping) and the town of San Jose del Cabos. We rented a car with Budget and enjoyed exploring the restaurants and sites. Pat's parking space is well labeled and right next to the front door of the lobby. The restaurants are really fabulous in this town. Being from San Francisco, Ca. and having lived in Paris, I can say that I am impressed with the high quality in Baja.
The condo: We were so lucky to be the first to enjoy the condo after Pat's remodel! Both kitchen and bathroom were done in soothing earth tones. What a delight to take a shower in such a beautiful environment and, in addition, having lots of hot water. The condo had all the facilities we needed. There was a great amount of kitchen supplies. The condo is located at the end of the building, so it is very quiet and restful. By the way, if you are concerned, the water in this resort has been purified, so no worries.
The resort: Really lovely. Huge heated pool, friendly guests who actually go out of their way to talk to you, and a fabulous swim up bar. Lots of activities provided by Coral Baja management.
The staff: Very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and going out of their way to make our visit a wonderful experience. Be sure to touch base with the concierge regarding restaurant recommendations.
The condo owner: Pat is an excellent manager: prompt responses, very clean and well maintained condo unit. She shows real enthusiasm for her property and Coral Baja.
The weather: Perfect.

We loved the Coral Baja! Pat was great to deal with-very prompt and helpful with recommendations, etc. The onsite restaurant was delicious and very affordable. We had a great view from room 512 and really enjoyed our stay!

We didn't choose Cabo as a destination. We went to Cabo for a family wedding. I had been to Cabo San Lucas some years ago after a kayaking trip on Isla Espiritu Santo. It felt like a tourist trap and I really did not want to go back. My sister (the groom's mom) was staying at Coral Baja and I felt fortunate in finding a place there for myself, my wife and our adult daughter. The bonus was the relaxed no hassle atmosphere of the place and the nearby town of San Jose del Cabo. We had such good food in San Jose and were able to visit shops pretty much without being chased by shop keepers. Everyone was friendly and we felt safe where ever we went.

Had a great time at the Coral Baja... a wonderful condo experience, right on the beach...lots of fun to be had and lots of great people to meet and party with. Swim up bar was great, especially at the daily happy hour. Also Karaoke on Friday and Sundays was a real hoot. Great restaurant at Mama Mia's ...you'll want to to go to the Sunday brunch. Will be back!

We have stayed at Pat Lillo's units 412 and 512 at Coral Baja. Most recently in unit 512 in October 2011. Both very fine units with great views and well equipped kitchens. Our preference is 512 with it's extended balcony. Weather consistenly fine. Close to the airport so no need to rent a car. Indeed, renting a car more grief than it is worth. Taxis plentiful and economic. Mega Foods a ten minute walk from the Coral Baja. Taxi back with our purchases in hand. We ate in every night with fine meals served on our balcony. One week great but two weeks would be divine.

The service was excellent. We arrived early & they gave us a hospitality room until the condo was ready & when we left we were allowed extra time to stay because of our flight time

We have been to Coral Baja 3 times and have always enjoyed our stay. The pool is wonderful, the beach great for walking on, the unit has everything you could possibly need, fantastic sunrises, and the evening entertainment is very good. It is also a wonderful place for children.

We arrived at our Coral Baja condo, to find a trail of bougainvillea leading to a lovely, chilled bottle of champagne, compliments of the owners! What a way to start our vacation. Coral Baja is right on the beach, convenient to the Mega - a grocery store and more. We were able to host friends for fish taco night, as well as a breakfast for 10 of us. The kitchen is well equipped for entertaining, and the balcony facing the beach was perfect for dining. We appreciated having a washer/dryer - no need to overpack. The restaurant is great - they do happy hours all afternoon, it seems. That's a plus.
No bad days in Cabo! -

We decided on the spur of the moment to come early for our stay in Los Cabos. After some searching on Vrbo I came across the listing for Pat's condo at Coral Baja. She was very prompt in responding and we chose her place.
This was our first stay at Coral Baja and we enjoyed it very much. The condo is spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The unit was on the 5th floor with a marvelous view of the ocean. The interior while a bit dated was so homey. The aC was appreciated a few evenings. A bonus is a W/D in the unit as well. The grounds were awesome. The pool area was alot of fun. Volleyball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, bingo. Happy hour everyday. No service around the pool but we loved being able to bring our own food and drink down. We met a lot of great people. This is not a fancy place...feels like home. No maid service but you can pay for some if you choose.
Our only complaint was the pillows were not very comfy but they are going to be replaced soon.
All in all we would stay here again for sure! Hopefully before long!!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Coral Baja private units. I have stayed in some high end hotels for 3 times the price and much less service and conditions. Pat Lillo's condos are clean, comfortable, have great views. The whole Coral Baja complex and activities was spectacular. We swam, we fished(I caught a 65 lb. tuna, my grandson caught a 90 lb. one.) Twice we all got to participate in releasing baby sea turtles from a local project. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great restaurant on the property. Good vendors right on the beach, no pressure. I just can't say enough. Always felt safe. I got to sing "Rock around the Clock" at Karaoke and won a silver bracelet(not for quality of singing ,but for being the first to volunteer.) Fondly, Reba and family

This is the second time that we have enjoyed our time at Coral Baja. The location is wonderful as it is close to necessary amenities. There was no need to rent a car as taxis are readily available and inexpensive. Our unit was well appointed and the view from the balcony superb. Whales were off shore and readily seen every day of our stay. We like to eat in and the kitchen was more than adequate. The pool area and beach were delightful. Lots of room and always an area to find some quiet time to read a book under an umbrella or palm tree. Probably the best aspect to this property was twofold: location and weather.

Had a fabulous time... was close to everything! The grounds also had all the acommodations you needed if you just wanted to relax around the pool or right on the beach!
Our favorite place in town was The Office... great fun, great food... on the beach with your toes in the sand!
We would go back in a heartbeat!
