Comfortable, stylish, and fun, over 2000 sq. ft., this vacation home overlooks the Sea of Cortez and the San Jose Estuary on the SE end of the recently 100% completed Alegranza Residential Resort. The colorful condo enjoys a panoramic view from a convenient hilltop, walking distance to San Jose del Cabo's historic center and miles of sandy beaches. Perfect for one or two couples' getaway, a seasonal escape for snowbirds, or an active sports-oriented family vacation. Something for everyone.

Step onto onto the covered terrace, sink into a chaise lounge and look all the way to Palmilla Point, where the sun sets, or stretch out for a siesta... on the day bed. Look down from your third floor veranda, with its stereo speakers and long antique pine dining table, and you'll see two of the resort's three pools, an oversized jacuzzi, a putting practice area, and lush landscaping. Also on the grounds are a gym, saunas, fire pits, BBQ areas, a delightful, reasonably priced casual bar and grill (with optional room service) as well as the finest spontaneous cuisine restaurant you can imagine, and a tennis court that's shaded in the morning and has lights for night play. (Anna Kournikova suggested its location to the resort's famous singer-developer, Enrique Iglesias!)

In short, this is CUSTOM BUT NOT COSTLY -- more features than the standard 2-bedroom, better decorated and equipped than the three variations of "package furniture deals," plus commanding views on the SE end of the resort and a garage -- but not any more expensive than the standard offering. The rates above are for "Salsa." We also rent the property next door, "Jazz Corner" whose rates carry a slight view and upgrade premium. Photos on this listing include some rooms from Salsa and some from Jazz Corner. We'll be happy to clarify which is which. The rate for "Salsa and Jazz Corner" combined (adjoining condos totalling 4,050 sq. ft. with 4 BRs and 4 Baths, connected through their private covered terraces) is about double the "Salsa" rate -- inquire for specifics -- it's "Perfect for Birthday Groups and Family Reunions!"

Nightly and Weekly Rates include reserved garage parking, cleaning before and after use, average utilities, a color printer and free internet services with Netlix, Apple TV or Roku and AirPlay, Bluetooth and/or iPod docks, concierge services, use of resort amenities, including fitness room. Weekly rates are for Saturday to Saturday stays. Taxes are included for groups of up to 4 in Jazz Corner or in Salsa, and up to 8 in the two combined. For large groups or stays of 8 days or longer, we arrange a mid-week cleaning at renters' expense ($60 for one condo, $120 for both). We offer discounts for weeks booked within 27 days of arrival and stays of 2 weeks or longer.

We only rent to non-smokers and do not allow pets.

  A Time of Refreshing, Relaxing, and Re-Capturing Our Joy!

  My husband and I felt we had been selected to experience a week of pampering and tranquility. The Smiths took great care to insure our getaway would be as memorable and complete as we could have dreamed for. Our questions were answered just by having reviewed the details they provided us concerning seasonal climate, transportation availability, dinning and recreation options and specifics about accommodating property amenities. Our condo, "Salsa", can only be described as a "Ocean View Dream Home" come true. Color, comfort, and authentic exquisite cultural decor welcome you upon entering this fully equipped double suite, ocean view paradise. Relaxing mentally and physically was unavoidable regardless of your swimming in any one of three sparkling clear pools and Jacuzzi's, or ocean gazing from the comforts of a gentle breeze balcony off our living room and bedrooms. We were captive to picturesque views and easy access to a great variety of options to suit our energy levels and desire for a cultural, recreational, and culinary extravaganza.
