My boyfriend and I stayed over the weekend of May 02nd in the studio apt. We purchased food for bfast and lunch and went out for dinner.
The place although it wasn't luxury or high end, it was very well appointed. It was 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to supermarket, 2 blks from Walgreens and many great restaurants, intercontinental hotel and Ritz Carlton.
The apt. was clean, fresh smelling towels and linens. The apt. Faces the front of the building. Ruth was very informative and responsive. She recommended a few places to eat like Platos and metropolis and both were great choices. The block she is on seems more residential but we didnt mind bc we were so close to the main strip. Exterior of building and interior was being painted. although the new paint color of chose really gives it a drab feel. Not very warm or inviting color of choice. Overall We were very happy with our stay.

In planning our trip to Puerto Rico, we heard the best way to go in terms of accommodations is to go with a vacation rental. We had a few reservations in looking for one, but found an amazing deal with San Juan Condo and just went with it. We were greeted by Ruth curbside, & immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Before we went anywhere, she detailed our surroundings. San Juan Condo is a 10 min. drive from the airport, right off a main street lined with restaurants, ( Isla Verde ave.) down the block and around the corner from the beach that offers plenty of water activities. Ruth then brought us inside the rental building, all the way explaining all we need to know and answering all our questions. There's a nice sized pool on one of the floors. Our room was the perfect size/ just enough for 2 people. Ok for 3 because it has a comfortable futon.
My boyfriend and I were very comfortable in the apt./rental, which allowed us to enjoy our trip. We can't say enough about Ruth and her hospitality and availability the entire week we were in Puerto Rico. To top it off, she drove us to the airport the day we left. She refused tip or gas money for her trouble, saying we're her friends. Yes Ruth, we are and we will see you again soon! -

As a younger female traveling solo for my birthday I was a bit concerned prior to my arrival about safety, comfort, making my way around, etc. My flight arrived on a Wednesday at 10:40 PM and I immediately contacted Ruth (the property manager & as she directed). She guided the cab driver to the rental location and was outside to greet me at that late hour. She greeted me with a smile and a hug as if she'd known me forever. She helped me up to my room, gave me a quick tour of the facility/room and started to inform me on anything I needed to know- directions to stores, places to eat and the tourist guide next door. I was starving, tired and it was late but she was sweet enough to give me something straight from her refrigerator to drink and much on til I woke up the following morning.
The room was very clean, smelled great and had everything you needed for basics. It was comfy and very close to all you needed-stores like WalGreens, grocery market, restaurants-Chilli's and Denny's for my after party snack binges, sports bars, the casino, I shuttled from the El San Juan hotel next door to snorkel in Fajardo. There's always cab service right there and the bus stop is a hop, skip and jump. The beach is a 2 minute walk and you can use Ruth's chairs and beach towels. :) There's a laundry room too so you need not pack a ton of clothes like I did. I was rarely in my room but when I needed directions or assistance Ruth was there for me. She felt like an aunt I was coming to visit.
The last day Ruth drove me to the airport and would not hear of me paying her a cent. She was great. Overall, I had a wonderful birthday trip and the rental was clean, comfy, great price, great location and Ruth was amazing. Thank you so much sweetheart! I will be back! -

My wife and I stayed at Ruth Toledo's condos during Christmas for 5 days and we were nothing but pleased with the services. Ruth was a great host who waited for us outside her building at 11 pm in the night only to give us the keys to the apt (our flight landing was at 10:40 pm). She was kind enough to explain to us every little detail of San Juan - told us where to eat, shop, visit, which beaches were less crowded, how to use the bus system (which is only 2-3 minutes walk from her condos and costs only 75 cents anywhere you choose to go in San Juan). The car rental is right across her building. The beach is within 5 minutes walk and she also provides you with beach towels and beach chairs that you can easily carry on your back to the beach and save on renting those chairs at the beach. There is also a shopping complex with a pharmacy in it if you need something urgently within 2-3 minutes of walk. Ruth was out there to save our money, time, and energy by giving us some very useful tourist tips.
After the first 5 days with her we planned to stay in another city and planned to stop at the Loquillo beach on our way. While saying goodbye, Ruth realized we did not have beach towels for that beach stop so she let us keep 2 of her finest beach towels for free. Basically, staying with her was like going to see your mom for vacation. We felt so much at home with her. I would happily recommend her condos to anybody planning to visit San Juan. -

From the moment you arrive at the condo, you will know you made the right choice.
Ruth met me by the curb to direct me around the neighborhood eats, and even gave me a ride to the airport the day of my departure. It was almost as if I was staying with a friend who I've known forever.
The condo was basic but has exactly everything you need. The location is spectacular, being close to the top restaurants on Isla Verde.
I am definitely staying here anytime I am back in PR. -

In March we stayed in a studio unit which was modest, however it was perfectly suitable for our needs and was spotless. Ruth, the manageress, went out her way to make our stay comfortable. She showed me the nearby restaurants, shopping areas and the beach and even treated me to a pina colada on the beach. She was always available since she lived on the premises, and when it was time for us to leave, she even drove us to the airport. I would not hesitate to stay at Cecilia's condos again in the future. .

My wife and I spent a week in this apartment. It was comfortable and clean, well air-conditioned, and the kitchen area was handy. There was a coffee machine too, so we were able to buy alto Grande (try it) and have it fresh each morning. It is two minutes from the beach and is just off av. Isla Verde, where there are many places to eat and shop. Ruth was excellent; our baggage did not make our flight and when it arrived at the airport the following day, she drove us to and from the airport to collect it. She also advised us on places to eat good Cuban and Puerto Rican food, and where to find supermarkets and transportation pick up points. Hopefully we'll be staying there again.

Ruth was wonderful. She instructed the cab driver exactly how to get to the apartment conplex. It takes less than 5 min from the airport!!
The room was simple, nothing fancy, but had everything you need. Many towels for the beach. Tv with cable if you're bored at night. And only a 2 block walk to the beach.
As a single woman vacationing alone in San Juan, I felt completely safe in the complex and surrounding area. And would recommend it to anyone traveling alone or in a couple. more than 2 persons the room would be small.
Also, it's close to everything: 2 blocks beach, 1 block Ritz Carleton, El San Juan Hotel, Intercontinental, etc. The bus to Old San Juan is less than a block away, and very cheap. Though it took me 50min each time I took it to OSJ. Worth the cheap price though! ==more money on food/drink.
Lastly, Ruth was great and drove me to the airport the morning of my department.
All in all a class act. No, it's not fancy like the Ritz but overall a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again. -

This studio condo was spotless and in a great location. We were a 5 minute drive from the airport and a 2 - 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, Walgreens and casinos. Ruth supplied us with everything but washcloths and was wonderful. She even drove us to the airport for our return trip! The bed and futon were extremely comfortable. Everything you needed to make and keep food was in the room. We loved the restaurant on the corner, Piu Bello, and ate there often. You can take the bus one block from the condo to Old San Juan for 75 cents. There are washers and dryers on the premises so you don't have to bring many clothes. Just be sure to bring a few laundry soap tablets and dryer sheets. It cost $1.50 to wash a load and $1.00 to dry it. You can also rent a car right across the street from the condo. I have told Ruth that she may give my name and phone number to anyone who would like to personally speak to me. We will definitely be going back:)

Me and my best friend stayed at Cecilia's from sept 24 to sept 28 .. Our stay was a great experience. Wow! Nice studio, very clean, owner realy friendly n went above and beyond to make us comfortable and our stay enjoyable. A lot to do in that area.. Restaurants, stores, beach, supermarkets, gas stations, Plaza Carolina Mall, anything you can imagine it's near..

I stayed at this accommodation at Isla Verde, PR two times from May 31 2010 to June 22 2010 and again from July 07 2010 to July 13 2010. Everything about this place is just perfect. The location is dead center of Isla Verde with the best beaches, casino, restaurants everything just a stone throw away. The apartment itself is amazing with all the amenities provided. The owner Ruth is wonderful, always there to answer your questions and makes you feel really comfortable.
This place is great for anyone, single traveler, couples... It has everything you would require at a great price. Its absolutely secure as well with it being a gated community. Free secure parking is a major plus anywhere in PR as most hotels charge $10 per day for parking. The best part about this place is the cleanliness. Its hard to find clean places in PR and this is definitely one i found via flipkey.
I would definitely recommend to stay at this place for anyone traveling to PR. -

The staying at Cecilia's Place was excellent. A wonderful place to stay with a friendly and welcoming environment . Restaurants, Casinos, supermarkets, Walgreens, beach, pool, 3 minutes away from the airport. Every place within walking distance. Ruth Toledo is a devoted manager. Very helpful, informative, and always available. She even provided transportation from and to the airport. The studio was immaculate (very clean) and had a micro, coffee maker, toaster, iron, and hair blower . It also had Cable TV, and a beautiful pool. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely go back again next year.

I found this condo on Trip Advisor I read all the reviews and thought it was too good to be true. I booked the apartment. I was in contact with Ruth the whole time and she was very warm and welcoming. The studio apartment surpassed my expectations. It was very clean, the furniture was up to date, the bathroom was a good size and the place brought everything I could ask for, coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge, etc. It's is an amazing location, just two blocks away from the beach, there are a lot of restaurants, very nice and
clean pool with lounge chairs, nightlife, casinos, and many other stores right on the strip. I have to say this is the best place I've stayed at to date in the Isla Verde area. I will definetly be back again soon... -

Our stay at this condo has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. The place was exactly as it is shown in the pictures. It is just atwo minute walk to the incredibly beautiful beaches(the Ritz Carlton's & The San Juan Hotel). The surroundings are very safe and peaceful. The location is perfect, you can get to the grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, casinos and clubs by walking. Ruth was very kind, helpful and accomodating. She will answer any question and will go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. The apartment was very well mantained and very clean. This was our first time renting a condo on PR, and we definitely look forward to visiting this amazing Puerto Rico and of course staying with Ruth again. This condo is nicer than most hotels, and so much cheaper. This studio has absolutely everything...so just get your luggage and have tons of fun just like we did!!!!!!

My sister and I stayed here for 4 days,the room was great! There is a large bed and and a futon couch that my siter slept on and she said it was very comfy. The kitchenette was great. We only had to walk about 4 blocks to the grocery store which saved us alot of money on not having to eat out. We rented scooters right around the corner and had a wonderful day riding out to Old San Juan. The beach is only 1 block away basically you are in the center of every where you want to go. We had booked a tour for a snorkle cruise and had to walk a short block an a half to the Ritz Carlton for our tour bus pick up. The most wonderful part of staying there was Ruth! On our last day she drove us 30 mins away just so I could buy some souvenir shirts from the Harley shop,and back to Old San Juan to get a rain maker for my son. After all of that she drove us back to the airport and would not even accept gas money from us! Ruth you are a beautiful person and we will always stay with you when we return to Puerto Rico. I was attending a medical conference at the El San Juan Casino and Hotel, but did not want to pay for a luxury hotel. The Condo was within walking distance from the hotel and had everything that I needed without the frills. Ruth Toledo, the property manager was lovely. She met me at the door on arrival and drove me to the airport herself when I left. She lent me her Wi-Fi for the weekend and asked me to call her if I needed anything during my stay. The studio apartment room was clean with everything in working order, and I felt safe with locked gates at the front of the building and on the apartment door. I would definitely recommend this Condo to anyone visiting Carolina, PR- for business or vacation.

where my kids spent most of the time, very clean pool and relax ambien, the
service we got from the moment we arrived was ecxelent as well, we could not
ask for more. I work for a well known airline I travel very often wheter is bussiness
or pleasure trip I now know where can I saty. I love my stay thank you for making

My experience renting this condo was great. I arrived earlier than my husband
and was met by the rental agent Ruth Toledo who was nothing but gracious
and kind. She showed me the condo and I was delighted, not because of the
size but because it was immaculate. I mean it was clean, clean, clean. I asked
her for beach chairs and she made them accessible to me immediatley. When
my husband arrived he was also very pleased with the condo as well as Ruth's
friendliness and caring. I would gladly rent from Ruth Toledo in the future. -

This was the best vacation. We arrived to P.R., and 10 minutes later we were at this condo, using the public transportation. A wonderful place to stay and very good for the money. This rental went off very smoothly with no surprises.The studio itself was clean, the bed was comfortable and had towels, linens, micro, coffee maker, toaster and hair blower also an iron, Cable tv, dishes, pots and pans. Two minutes walk to Casinos, Walgreens, 24hrs.
supermarket, beach, fast food restaurants, easy access to the #5 bus that takes you to Old San Juan. Ruth was an excellent hostess, very kind and guided us thru everything..
I will highly recommend it to others and will return next year. Very well worth the money.

this place was excellent. clean, quiet, safe and secured. right in the middle of shopping land, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, next to a bus stop, next to a rent a car service, a block from a beautiful beach, and ruth toledo was an excellent hostess. can't wait to go back there in november!
