I stayed for 1 month as a medical student, & found this to be a safe, comfortable apartment with secured parking, wi-fi, utilities included, & a quick commute to the Va hospital. Everything was as seen in the photos, with a sunny open-plan 1st floor layout, a nice kitchen, & a huge bedroom upstairs. The designated parking spot in the garage across the street was essential. The apartment is located in a large, safe, secured, fairly upscale complex, within easy driving distance of the large shopping mall, the airport, & major hospitals. It was surprisingly quiet, which made it a good environment for working & studying. I did wish I had a washer & dryer within the apartment itself, but there were laundry facilities located in the building. The owner was responsive when I needed to contact her. The check-in process was slightly cumbersome in that there was a long, detailed inventory list to fill out upon arrival, & the initial process of getting into the parking garage was complicated. Overall, this is a decent short-term living option for a professional visiting San Juan.

My fiance (now husband) and I stayed at El Monte Sur for one month. It was a clean and comfortable two-level condo centrally located to everything you could possibly need. We were able to easily travel to all of the wedding preparation appointments and shops. The condo was safe and had 24-hour security guards, which allowed us to leave most of our personal belongings at the condo while we left for our honeymoon. Our daughter loved the park and pool located within El Monte Sur. It was basically a home-away from home, but in Puerto Rico.

It was a pleasure to stay at El Monte Sur, the place was wonderful and within the reach of many places in the area of Carolina and San Juan. The place was clean and fully furnished and the kitchen had all that we needed to just shop and cook witch helped save money on food.
My wife and my children found the place comfortable and spacious. Despite the heat on the island the apartment was kept fresh with the ocean air. We enjoyed much in so little time.
Next time I go to Puerto Rico or know of someone who wants to go to the island I will recommend El Monte Sur and your services.

I stayed for 2 months at El Monte Sur Condo apartment. It is situated in a wonderful park-like setting with lots of palm trees and other flowering trees and shrubs. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. There is a small gym, a swimming pool, tennis court and basketball court. A supermarket is located across the street with a nearby pharmacy. It is close to Mutual auxillio Hospital. It is situated close to the elevated train station, Pinero, which was convenient along with a bus to take to Old San Juan or Candado Beach. The apartment is comfortably furnished. There is no cable television; but, there is internet service. The bedroom is air conditioned; but, not the rest of the apartment. The landlord response for problems is very prompt. Would I return? You bet!

We stayed here for 2 days after a cruise. It was a wonderful retreat, and provided a nice "buffer" before getting back to our home routines. Shopping was very convenient. Lourdes was very accomodating and helpful.

The apartment was very centrally located. It is ideal if you want to visit Plaza Las americas (the huge shopping mall in San Juan).It is about 20mins from the airport and also about 20mins from Old San Juan, which is full of history, great restaurants and,of course, the designer Outlet stores. I will definately being staying there again when I need to visit Puerto Rico.

Located close plaza las americas (5mn), the appartement offers a great confort for anyone who's travelling for a couple of days in San Juan.On the third floor, the building is very quiet and offers multiple services such as swimming pool or tennis court but also a Pueblo Store 5mn walk.In 5 mn, you will be at Plaza las americas and in 15 at the airport.
Highly recommanded for anyone who's travelling from the Caribbean to San Juan.Much much better than spending money in a hotel !
