Cute charming walk-up located 20 STEPS from the sand of the most beautiful urban beach in Puerto Rico. The master has a queen bed and the second room has two twin beds, the sofa living makes two twin beds. Located between Condado and Ocean Park, San Juan, a lively (and the safest) neighborhood. Walking distance to a variety of local and trendy restaurants and 10 minutes cab ride from the airport and Old San Juan.
Enjoy the peaceful breeze and sun in the mornings and then have fun exploring restaurants, pubs, disco, etc. in Condado (drinks), Old San Juan (Salsa), Isla Verde (disco), Piñones (Bomba y Plena) in the evenings.

Condado is a pleasant, lively neighborhood of San Juan, with many local and trendy restaurants and one of the most beautiful urban beach in the world. From here, you are 1 hour drive to the amazing 'bioluminescent bay' (evening excursion) and 20 minutes fly (or 2 hour by car and ferry) to the islands of Vieques and Culebra. Also, huge caves, the Arecibo observatory (featured in several films), and the tropical forest of El Yunque are only 1 hour drive from here. Several Golf courses are available within 20 minutes drive. Finally, Old San Juan is just 10 min. drive.

Isabel's property is fabulous. My family of 6 stayed in her arena apartment which was just one short walkway from the beach. The apartment is beautifully decorated Spanish style with all the amenities needed to enjoy the beach down to the beach chairs. The location is prime for enjoying all San Juan has to offer from bakeries, restaurants, shops, and Old San Juan. Can't wait to return and rent from Isabel again! My family did not want to leave.

Isabel and Juan are very welcoming, responsible, and respond quickly to inquiries which makes everything easy. They give great recommendations for traveling.
The place itself completely exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well decorated, has air conditioning,a balcony, a front and back porch with a grill. There is also a washer/dryer. The kitchen has all the tools you could need for a vacation. Everything is super convenient and furniture/beds are very comfortable.
If you have a large group, rent the whole building and there is access to a rooftop pool.
The neighborhood felt safe and was a 1 minute walk from a very nice beach!
I have no complaints!

When three of my friends from college decided to do a reunion trip to catch up from nearly a year apart, we were instantly attracted to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We were unsure where to stay and looked into both hotels and condo rentals. After coming across Isabel listing on Homeaway we decided it had the perfect accommodations for our trip with reasonable pricing.
Upon arrival to the condo (only about 10 minutes from the airport by taxi), we were instantly in love with it and Puerto Rico. Isabel greeted us when we arrived and was more than willing to look through the visitor book they have compiled to give suggestions.
The best parts of this condo were the amazing and helpful owners,the proximity to the beach, the location within a very local and non-touristy neighborhood, restaurants and stores within walking distance, and the beach! It was everything we wanted in a vacation and this is much thanks to our rental. I will most certainly be making another trip to San Juan in the near future to experience all that I was unable to fit in the first go around, and when I do I will look rent with Isabel again!

Sorry for a bit late. So busy with the class! We have five people travel to Peurto Rico from 3.8-3.8 during the spring break. "Arena" is a good place to stay at San Juan. Its more like a real home with two floors, and it has everything you need! Even the seasoning, pots, knife, snorking stuff, whashier and dryer,thelace is so nice just o.5 miniuts to the beach. And it is very close to some good restaurant such as "Casalta" and "Bebos". And also I highly recobmend this guest house since the owner Isabel is very very very nice!!! She knows a lot about how to get crazy fun in Peurto Rico! Everything you need at home you would get from the guest house and also, there would be a cool front and back yards. Even though its a little bit short time, but I think its the best time I have ever had of all the travel I had during my life. Of course I went lots of places such as florida and Cancun... But I highly recommend you go to Puerto Rico and stay at "Arena", which means that you just like travel at your home. Very homy and relaxing !!! Cool. Hope next time I would have chance to travel to Peurto Rico and have more fun. By the way, Isabel is really really welcoming people and don't be afraid to ask her how to rock at Peurto Rico. As an international student who study at mi, I think its even the best place of U.S.A. Poeple are sooo nice.

We loved the apartment and especially the location. It is in a local,quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed sitting on the beach every morning and watching all my neighbors walking their dogs.
Isabel took care of all our needs and made us feel very welcome.
The apartment has lots of windows, that give you the feeling of being outside. We couldn't decide which patio we liked the best, the front or the back or the balcony on the 2nd floor. The apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, even beach chairs!

The time we spent in San Juan was far beyond our expectations. The premises are fifty yards from the beach but still not far away from old San Juan. We stayed at arena apartment which is spatious, cozy and clean. The air conditioned works very well but it also has ceiling fans which are very useful. The owners,Isabel and Juan are wonderful hosts and give you a lot of good advices about 'where to go/eat' or anything you need. They also have two other apatments and a beautiful pool. We certainly recommend to visit old San Juan, the Yunque rainforest, Arecibo observatory, The Nuyorican and specially Vieques island (incredible beaches).
Do not miss Ocean Park apartments for staying in San Juan. -

Both Isabel and Juan were extremely helpful, kind and advised us about the area, places to eat and places to visit! The unit had everything we needed to be comfortable including beach chairs, beach towels and even boogie boards. The location was near Old San Juan, near major highways and convenient to the Condado area. The beach was not crowded so we felt as if we had our own private beach!The air conditioning units worked well and cooled the apartment quickly. The kitchen was well equipped but we did enjoy local restaurants and bakerys(Kasalta bakery). There is a Walgreens close by and a major grocery store.

It is a fancy flat located few steps away from the beach (less than 50 meters,I would say).It is a really quiet neighborhood and the flat is fully furnished and functional. It is really nice to have aC in all the rooms.
Additionally, we had amazing moments in the roof area, where we could organize Bbq's during the sunset and rest.
Moreover, you have the chance of getting fun or relax in the swimming pool. The only disadvantage there is that you should swim during the midday otherwise the water will be cold.
In general, I am completely satisfied with the service cause the flat is super clean and Isabel is a really kind and friendly person. You get a five-star place and service, paying much less than a hotel of that category. -

This apartment worked out beautifully for my family (me, my spouse, my three year old and my nine month old). It has all of the amenities you need, and if you need anything, Isabel will gladly help! She was so wonderful and flexible and really helps make your stay as seamless as possible! And you are 20 steps from the beach - so gorgeous!

My husband and I, and my daughter and her roommate stayed for a week in Isabel's condo twenty steps to a beautiful beach. We were in a great location: restaurants and clubs in Condado are in walking distance and Old San Juan is an easy cab ride.
Isabel was very welcoming and helpful. We especially enjoyed one of Isabel's recommendations, Mangos, very much! Great music on Friday night and great food at reasonable prices.
Our apartment was very comfortable, well equipped and with two patios and a balcony.
We would definitely go back again. -

The home is lovely & well stocked with the basics. Not to repeat, but it is located in a very safe area. Walking distance to some very good restaurants & grocery shops. A five minute (maybe) walk to a very beautiful beach. Isabel is terrific & is available for advice & recommendations. About my only heads up, if you have trouble with stairs, this would not be a good choice. Other than that, no issues.

This was lovely apartment which was close to a well known beach. It had 2 good sized double rooms (which is not often the case) and a decent lounge area. Only two areas could be greatly improved (i) having more kitchen utensils if people plan on eating in a lot and (ii) it could have been better cleaned before we arrived (the floor was quite dirty). I gave a 4-star rating because if these 2 aspects could be addressed, the apartment is a very good deal, especially given the cost.

All my clients know the can ask for anything they need. You stay for just 2 nights-3 adults with a 3 month old and a 2 year old, and never ask for more utensils. We have pots, blender, coffee machine, 8 glases, 8 cups, 16 plates, silver ware for 8 people, etc. If something is missing you just need to ask. We want the best service. Upon your arrival the lady cleaner was finishing the apartment, why you did not ask her to clean if you saw something?

I traveled to Pto. Rico with my husband and 2 kids (3 months and 3 ½ years) and we rented Isabel's apartment. It was perfect for us, very well located and had everything we needed; it was very specious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The apartment it is two levels but not problem at all with the stairs since there is a safety gate. All of us had a wonderful time but who enjoyed the most was my oldest kid that wanted to move to Pto. Rico and live in Isabel's apartment. We would definitely rent it again.

We got to Puerto Rico and from the airport to the townhome was not very far so that was great!
When we got there i was kind of skeptical about the neighborhood, but have no worries...it was perfectly safe! :) i really enjoyed staying at the townhome, there was plenty of room for me, my sister & friend. The townhome was very clean! :) we were near by everything! Osj was only about 10-15 min away and the ride to the ferry was only about 45min to an hour. We did rent a car but we did not utilize it much...we are definately going to come back to Puerto Rico but we wont be renting a car, beacuse you can always reserve a cab! But overall our stay at the townhome was wonderful, the air didn't run so well but it was just fine becaue the weather was nice! the townhome isn't right on the beach but it's a very short walk to the beach. Me and my girlfriends were very happy with our decision in stayin here. When my sister and i do return...we definately will be booking our stay again!
And i want to say thank you to the landlords Isabel and her husband they were soo helpful during our stay and are very nice people!

We were 17 people travelling together and figured it would be impossible to stay at the same place. We asked the owner if she knew of any other condo´s around hers that we could rent out. Turns out she had two other condos in the same building as the one we inquired about. We were static!! We were able to all stay at the same location, with our own private pool! All three flats are great, the two up top have just been remodeled (I think we may have been the first guests there). Very clean and stylish, natural light, views of the ocean and the beach...the downstairs apartment also had a water hose outside, which was great for cleaning up after going to the beach. Everything we needed was at our disposal, it was just perfect!

I rented Isabel´s condo for a weekend trip with my girlfriend and another couple. The condo was beautiful, and the location couldn´t be better. We could literally see the ocean from the balcony!! But the highlight was the private top roof pool overlooking the beach. We barbaqued one night, swiming under the stars and sipping on mojitos. Total relaxation!!
