Contemporary and spacious, Stella Maris 7C is an elegant studio apartment overlooking beautiful Condado Beach that received a total renovation in Dec 2011. Condominium Stella Maris is ideally located between the San Juan Marriot Resort and Staris Casino and the La Concha Renaissance Resort a few blocks to the west.

The seventh floor location allows for spectacular views but is still low enough for you to be lulled to sleep by the surf at night. A full wall of sliding glass doors on the ocean side (facing North) opens up to a small balcony to enjoy the tropical breezes and fantastic ocean view. The black out curtains will allow you to sleep late in the morning or nap mid day. You get an nice view looking back to the city as you enter or depart the apartment.

The approximately 400 sq. ft. studio apartment has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. For much of the year there is enough tropical breeze blowing in that you won’t require either. There is a comfortable king size foam topped bed. The living area has a cozy love seat and dining area looking out at the sea.

The kitchen has a 2 burner glass cook-top, microwave, toaster, blender, small toaster oven and coffee maker. It is fully equipped with plenty of glasses, silverware, pots, pans and utensils.

The apartment has a wall mounted swivel, 40" flat screen cable television and a DVD player. Wifi is provided free of charge. The alarm clock is also an ipod docking station.

All linens and towels are provided- including beach towels. There are sand chairs for the beach as well as a small cooler. There is an iron and an ironing board. A coin operated laundry room is on the ground floor. There is also a hair dryer in the newly renovated travertine tiled bathroom.

Each floor has a separate key for the elevator and another for the stair-well which helps to ensure both security and privacy. The well maintained twelve story condominium is separated from the beach by only a decorative cement wall. A designated space in the gated parking area might be available ($10 per night) when arrangements are made at booking time. There is also limited on street parking and several parking lots nearby.

Tours out on the island can be arranged by the concierge desk at the Marriot Hotel, next door. Wind surfing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving are all available in the metropolitan area. A cyber cafe and several gyms are with-in the neighborhood. Virtually any activity you'd expect at a seaside resort can be found in San Juan

All you should need to bring with you is your clothing and your smile. The sun, surf and tropical breezes are all provided free. Anything else can be purchased from Walgreens, a block away on the corner or several small convenience stores are nearby. A well stocked larger grocery is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive.

Getting around

A car is not a necessity. There iis a taxi stand out front at the Marriott. The bus line runs down Ashford Avenue one block away. Uber is now functioning in Puerto Rico. Tours can be arranged at the concierge desk of the Marriott next door.. A car isn't a necessity but it nice if you want to head out on the island. An assigned parking space is optional at an additional $10 per night and might be available if arranged in advance. There are many car rental agencies at the airport and some with in walking distance of the condo, (Charlie) There is a limited amount of on street parking.

Right on the beach at the end of Condado Avenue you're right in the heart of things. Yet with nothing but ocean and beach to the North you get a sense of space and privacy. The view is spectacular, even more so at dusk, dawn or when rainbows pop out. I hope that when you come back that you choose to return to one of mine. Thanks for being such great renters.
