Casa de Los Santos is a gorgeous 4 bedroom, fully equipped rental house located directly on the sand at Playa El Coco, 25 minutes south of San Juan del Sur.
The bedrooms are all air conditioned and spread around a central courtyard. The master has an incredible view of the ocean and a large en suite bathroom. The living room has double high ceilings and opens up directly to a huge terrace complete with hammocks overlooking the private pool all only a stone's throw from the ocean.

This vacation villa was truly a place to fully relax and do nothing but walk the beach, read, swing in the hammocks on the property, swim in the pool, have fresh native cuisine cooked by Darling, the on site cook. We stayed in our bathing suits for most of the week. We went into San Juan Del Sur one day which was pleasant but couldn't wait to return to our wonderful villa. There is a small grocery store you can walk to down the street, and 2 casual pleasant restaurants that you can also walk to. The guys did take a fishing trip which left from playa cocoa. They enjoyed the day on the water and caught 2 fish. It is best to get most of your groceries before you arrive for the week. It is very helpful to speak some Spanish to communicate with Darling about what meals you would like and when you would like to eat. Darling's husband did a wonderful job keeping the grounds and pool in pristine condition. We felt comfortable and very safe with the family on the property.

My husband and I have stayed in this home 3 times. This trip was with my husbands family while they were visiting us in Nicaragua. The house is huge, with high clinings and large rooms. The front master is fabulous, with ocean views and a view of the pool. The other bedrooms are alos quite nice. The caretaker, Luis, who lives on the property is great and takes great care of the property and provides excellent security. His wife is also a great cook, and I beleive her services as a cook are includede in the rental price, you can even get fresh seafodd each day from loacl fisherman. This place is the ultimate in relaxation, very remote and totally tranquil, with views of Costa Rica from the beach. The house is gorgeous. Just bring plenty of food, because the 25 minute to town ride is not true, it is about 45 minutes to town on a very bad road, so only bring a 4 by 4 vehicle. Also, it is best not to come during the rainy season, which is May-Nov. when the road can be very muddy and soemtimes impassable. However, it is worth the drive!! I love this house and will definitely return to rent it again!!

The townhouse is nicely furnished with everything we needed. The pool and barbeque are steps away from the townhouse and then the beach. We had Veronica cook and clean for us and she is fabulous. We took long beach walks, rode horseback, surfed, explored nearby towns like San Juan del Sur and Granada, went zip lining, and ate fabulous seafood from the local fishermen.
It was a perfect vacation. -

I was looking for a reasonably priced vacation with friends and this place hit the spot! The setting is extremely relaxing! You have the option to hang out at the beach, or sit at the pool in the backyard. Besides being in a great location just outside of San Juan Del Sur, the house itself is spacious and beautifully furnished. I felt safe, relaxed, and I hope to get back there soon!

The most relaxing few days if my life. The house, the beach, the Nica people… all of it was amazing. I will be taking my wife and kid down this fall. This a great place for a family get-away or a romantic adventure. You wake up every morning to the waves crashing and the smell of the caretakers making coffee and breakfast. Take a run on the beach, jump in the pool or ocean and you are ready for the day. The fishing is amazing. San Juan Del Sur is picturesque. And with so many interesting world travelers living in the area, the stories and tales you hear are captivating. I highly recommend it.

You absolutely cannot beat the location of this amazing house! It's right on the sand and a swim in the ocean is just seconds away.
The construction is brand new with pretty much every amenity from home, providing a relaxing, worry-free environment. And that's the point of a vacation, right? Speaking of that, the staff is there to prepare meals and ensure everything is taken care of.
Whether traveling with family or a group of friends to Nicaragua, in my opinion this is the best lodging option. We had an amazing time and will definitely stay here again. -

We had the most relaxing family vacation at this beach front villa in Playa El Coco.
There's nothing like waking up in the morning to the sounds of waves crashing, birds chirping and freshly brewed Nicaraguan coffee and breakfast ready to be served.
The house comes staffed with an eager to please Nicaraguan couple included in the price of your stay. She made us meals (as we requested) and did the household cleaning. While he helped us with everything from building bonfires on the beach to helping my sons with their fishing poles.
Most unforgettable experience: The tortoise reserve located only a couple of miles south of the property. We actually watched the female sea tortoises lay their eggs and watched the hatchlings return to sea. Amazing!!!
You and your family will get quickly spoiled by the views, pool/amenities and household staff. The beachfront villa also has air-conditioning in all of the bedrooms and in the family room.
Go to Playa El Coco, Nicaragua while it is still the undiscovered gem of Central america!! Fabulous!
