This rental home is beautifully maintained and landscaped and designed to take full advantage of the natural beauty of the region. The sunsets from the house are spectacular. Located five minutes north of San Juan Del Sur in a quiet setting halfway between SJDS and the best beaches.
San Juan del Sur, just 20 miles north of the Costa Rican border, is a beautiful ocean front community featuring remarkable natural beauty, fantastic restaurants, beach front bars and excellent surfing. The region offers some of the western hemispheres most beautiful beaches, "top 5 surf in the world" Surfer Magazine, and a pleasant and safe environment (Nicaragua is ranked as the safest country in Central America).
The area offers many opportunities for Spanish classes, surfing classes, horseback riding, sailing, canopy tours, surfing, boogie boarding and volunteering.

My family and I had an incredible time in Nicaragua. The house was simply an amazing place to relax and let go of our stresses for a week. The beaches nearby by are nice and the zipline/canopy tour right down the road is outstanding! It was an adventure to get to the house from the Managua airport, but really didn't have that many concerns once we got to the house. The couple that takes care of the house always seemed to be around to take care of things, we really did not expect that.

We could not have picked a better home to stay at during our vacation to San Juan del Sur. John and Jan were beyond accomodating with all of our questions and requests. Their home is stunning, very comfortable bedrooms, wonderful views and everything one would need to make our time away from home feel just like home. The housekeepers are wonderfully accomodating, they helped us with many questions and went above and beyond in their service. The home is situation in the perfect spot, not far from town to make quick trips in, but just far enough to make you feel like you are in your own private paradise. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Sjds!!

Where do I begin? This place completely blew us away. The open floor plan, the view, the pool, the beds. Everything about this place was phenomenal. The pictures do not do it justice. We were so happy that we blindly chose a place up in the hills instead of on the beach because the views were worth a million bucks. The caretakers were lovely, the place was spotless and had the best energy. We were 4 in our late twenties and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We will be back!!! -

Our vacation in Nicaragua was a gift, in more ways than one. - The house and room were perfect - beautifully designed, comfortable and sophisticated, with a breath-taking view of the ocean from our balcony and from the poolside main level. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals or having drinks at sunset. We enjoyed delicious food in town and the pristine beaches of San Juan del Sur were the perfect romantic day spot for a swim or a nap in the sand. We can't wait to return.

We spent a very fun and relaxing week in this vacation rental with our friends. The house is spacious enough that we had privacy when we wanted it, and the patio and kitchen/dining areas provided a very comfortable community space. We used the four wheelers to go into town (a short distance) where we had our choice of some very good restaurants and markets to shop at, as well as going to the beach. The view is spectacular and the owners very accommodating. It was a great vacation!

Charming location near San Juan del Sur with beautiful views of the ocean. Near beaches with surf and near the small village of San Juan del Sur, excellent restaurants serving fresh caught local fish; the house is a designer home openning to a patio with a pool--a wonderful open concept flow. Upstairs private bedrooms also with ocean views allowed us to relax on our own private balcony. Great vacation!!!
