An incredible, 2000 sq. ft, fully furnished, private villa with two Master King bedrooms to sleep 4, en-suite bathrooms, open air living, and just minutes to three of Nicaragua's most beautiful sun and surf beaches, Playa Maderas, Playa Majagual, and Playones.

Experience life in one of the largest, privately owned ecological reserves in Central America, teeming with wildlife and natural beauty. This small, private boutique community has been designed using green building concepts, native fallen hardwoods and stone. Boundaries between indoors and outdoors merge when sliding walls reveal your own private patio with ocean and tropical jungle views. Designed and built by the developers of world renowned Morgan's Rock Eco Resort, boasts 16' vaulted cane ceilings with large overhangs, providing shade from sun and rain showers. The living room boasts comfortable contemporary white sofa's with matching chairs in addition to 2 leather chairs and ottoman. Dining table and seating for four. A featured natural stone table is the centre piece to enjoy board games or just sit around and enjoy a cocktail. Enjoy a swim in our 15 meter infinity edge pool overlooking the pacific and jungle terrain, just steps outside the front door. Laze and read a novel on the comfy padded lounge chairs and enjoy an ice tea. Flat screen TV with DVD player and 88 DVD's for your viewing pleasure.

We are located just a 5 minute drive down our private trail or a 20 minute walk to the best surf and sun beaches in the area. There are surf board rentals and a selection of local cafes accessible by foot. A 'meet & greet' is included in the cost of the rental to help you navigate your way making your first day a comfortable transition. Our host can help you arrange a selection of diverse activities in the area from a sunset cruise and zip-lining to yoga.

Transportation: A four wheel drive high clearance vehicle IS REQUIRED for accessing not only Casa Culebra, but the majority of the surfing beaches north and south of San Juan del Sur. We are located 12 km (20 min) from town on country, dirt roads and as the Balcones community is perched on a hill from the main road a 4 x 4 vehicle will make your stay much more enjoyable! Let us help you arrange transportation to and from the airport, and provide you with a discounted rate with one of our Car Rental agents.
