There are many restaurants, beaches, activities and sites to chose from close by. Rental car is recommended but not necessary. Two hour drive from the Managua airport and 20 minutes from the Costa Rican border, which is an easy hour's drive from Liberia, Costa Rica.

We have travelled rather extensively around the world and we were able to spend a week in this lovely home which is exactly as described. The pictures give an accurate view of the area, the house and the grounds. We would hike down to the town for lunch most days. The folks in the town and the area were exceptionally friendly and very helpful when we needed information or help finding things. It is a small town, not spoiled by tourists with restaurants on the beach.
We plan to take our kids and grandkids with us the next time. We had a great time!
