Only a two minute easy walk to the beach and a 7 minute drive to San Juan del Sur, Villa Pavela offers a private, relaxing and affordable setting for a tropical beach vacation. Our design inspiration was based on a balance between the traditional nicaraguan open-air living concep, a contemporary architectural vocabulary and some modern comforts.

Perched on a ridge in a valley that generously opens up onto beautiful Remanso Bay, framed by perpetually blooming Bougainvillaea, our private Villa allows for a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and jungle covered hills. Situated only 2 minutes from the beach and surf, Villa Pavela offers a comfortable base for surfers, families and the quite type simply seeking comfort in the spectacular views. The beach provides endless challenges and fun for beginners to experienced surfers, sand castle architects and kite pilots. If playing guitar is your thing then you are welcome to use our instrument, however bring spare chords.
San Juan del Sur, a small fishing town which is the most popular travel destination on Nicaragua's Pacific coast is only a 7 minute drive from Villa Pavela. This small fishing town offers a lively mix of tourist amenities and local culture and the exciting nightlife makes San Juan del Sur the ideal location for your Nicaragua vacation.
We are always happy to offer tips and advice on how to get around in Nicaragua and on San Juan del Sur and all the wonderful activities and services it has to offer. The local zip line and boat cruises are two attractions not to be missed. If you are thinking of trying out surfing for the first time then you can sign up with one of the local schools for lessons offered right at our beach.

  All transactions with Ela were handled smoothly and easily. She quickly and thoroughly answered every question I had. Her staff, the husband and wife caretakers, Eliza and Jairo, were incredibly helpful and hardworking. They looked after our every need and made us feel completely at home.
  
  The house is located away from the bustle of Sjds, and I felt this was one of its many strengths. Steep hills run down to the ocean, and are part of a gorgeous landscape that you can spend hours watching. The neighborhood is quiet and rustic, you can see and hear the Pacific from the front porch hammocks, and the beach is just a 3-minute walk, even while carrying a surfboard. The modern design of the house paired with traditional Nicaraguan elements makes for an intriguing place to stay. We always had electricity, hot water, and wifi, but in a setting this beautiful, we wouldn't have missed any of them. The open design of the home means a lot of time in fresh air. It is very windy here, with strong gusts throughout the day and night. The wind acts as a natural air conditioner, and the house is a welcome retreat from the intense midday sun.
  
  Playa Remanso has the gentlest surf in Sjds, and some days the water is more like a lake than the Pacific Ocean. It's a great place to stay -- I just wished we could have stayed longer. We'll be back.
