1b/1b house: ample unit of one room and 1 bathroom.

Living room, Dining room, equipped kitchen, bathroom and balcony.

The... bathroom has entrance from the room and another entrance from the dining room; what means that you don’t have to necessarily enter to the room to reach the bathroom.

The room has a full bed, A/C, Fan, TV. There is a twin super comfortable futon located between the living room and the dinning room, that can be moved to the room upon request when reserving.

There are 2 super high quality futon beds in the living room (a queen one and the twin one); only fans in these areas.

To reserve this is how it works:

1) I send you the policies which you may read and agree before reserving

2) Then I send you a PayPal Money Request of the 50% of the Total. (The PayPal system is the safest way to make deals by internet; safe for you and safe for me. When you go to it’s webpage, you can read information of Paypal and how they work). You just follow the steps and you will be able to perform the operation.

3) The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in CASH ONLY.

4) The security deposit must be handled in upon arrival TRAVELERS CHECKS or CASH ONLY. Security Deposit: $200 Reddish and Studio unit; $300 house unit. The same day of your departure we make an inspection of the unit and if everything is ok and there is no damage to the property, we return the security deposit at the moment.

5) If you are going to take a Taxi to get to our place, there is a taxi driver who we know and know where we are located. His name is Jose (Berti). You may call him at (787) 297-9924 at least a day before to make arrangements or take a taxi at the airport, but with Berti you’ll get here directly with out getting lost.

6) Once your flight arrives, please contact us at (787) 530-7002, so you’ll be sure that we are at the property waiting for you; the same applies if your have changes in your flight, please contact us so you’ll be sure that we are at the property waiting for you. If you don’t contact us to inform us of any changes in your arrival hour, we might not be at the property and to get there can take us minutes as hours (so please be sure to contact us if any changes). Remember this not a hotel, these are apartments for rent.

We are located between Isla Verde and Condado; IN THE NORTH OF SAN JUAN, PR (2 main touristic areas with hotels restaurants, etc.. Isla verde is where the airport is and after Condado you reach the Historic City of Old San Juan). We are located in the #59 Rampla del Almirante street, between the Mcleary street and the Loiza street. We are perpendicular to the Buenos Aires street and the next street to the Barbosa Park (the green block that you can see in the map is the Barbosa Park that’s in front of the beach; the Park Boulevard street passes in front of the shore!!!

  Beats the Hotels!

  I traveled to San Juan with a couple of friends for four days and found this rental and thought it would be a great alternative to hotels. The property was well maintained and cozy. The property owner was extremely helpful, cooperative and understanding. We arrived later than expected and she accomodated us each step of the way. The property is within a couple of blocks from the beach, basketball courts, and other activities. This is a residential area, so it was quiet, but if you were looking for places to go to party and have fun, we were a short distance from Condado and Isla Verde, which were both happening places. As far as costs, this was the most economical way to go; for the price we paid for the rental the hotels were charging nearly double. We stayed at a hotel in Maunaubo, PR for three days prior to arriving at the rental, paid way more and was never in the hotel. There were just so much to do, we were rarely inside. Oh and I almost forgot, there is a BBQ in the back where my friends and I kicked back with a couple of drinks, steaks and burgers...

  The Real Puerto Rico Experience

  The house is conveniently located 2 blocks from the beach. However, to go to anywhere else, a rental car or other form of transportation would be required. There is parking available in front of house for free. The service was great. Ani tries to be accomodating and helpful when you need. She lives on the 2nd floor, which is a separate unit, so she is always accessible as well. The place was very roomy and clean. I stayed 6.5 weeks and there weren't too many things I would complain about. One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying at a house and not a hotel. There are mosquitos. It gets really loud at night when it rains (I should say it pours). You will hear the famous puerto rico frogs at nights. It gets hot and the aC is pretty loud as well. Luckily, I'm not a light sleeper so some of these things didn't bother me too much but if you're not, you may have trouble sleeping. Other than that, it's a nice place to stay at an affortable rate. Have fun!

  I remember Jin, she worked for a postal company and also her mother who came to spend some days with her. They where very nice persons and nothing that I can compalin about only the repellent they liked to used (the one that has to be burn and has a very strong smell; but I bought them some insect spray and off repelent for them; so they could be prepared for the tropic.
  Puerto Rico is a tropical island and there are going to be mosquitos in any place where there are no screens or full glass windows and doors. The house has screens on all windows and doors but if you leave the screen open, mosquitos will go inside.
  The Coqui, which is the famous puertorican frog, is part of our fauna and our tropic. This little frog only lives in PR and in Hawaii; some people think they are something exotic (I even have had guests that have found coqui's around and have taken pictures of them. They really sound like if you were in the jungle!!!) but others just dont like the sound; for if you think you wont like them, if you come to PR bring or buy some ear "plugs" at Walgreens or any other pharmacy, once you are here (I mean, what you put in your ears when you dont want to hear noises).
