Casa Castellana, 'The Spanish House', would like to host you during your stay on the island of Puerto Rico. Guests can reserve by the room/s for just a couple or family or all four rooms for a group reservation, for a group rate for up to 8 guests, maximum of ten guests. Rates vary depending on season and number of guests. We are centrally located in the up-scale residential area of Condado. Built in the late 1920's and renovated three years ago by the current owners, Casa Castellana offers you, our future guest, a full complete breakfast, beautiful rooms named after romantic and beautiful cities from Spain, with views of the beautiful shad...ed streets of Condado, private balconies, Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, DVD player, boutique quality bathrobes, 100% cotton linens and towels, A/C, daily housekeeping, and concierge services are just some of the amenities we offer that are meant to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Smoking is allowed in designated areas and away from the rooms. Guests are welcomed to rest, read and enjoy our third floor open terrace and other common areas of the inn.

Well BEHAVED children are always welcome. It is the responsibility of the parents to keep them safe.

The Toledo Room is handicap accessible. We do not have an elevator to the third floor, but we can arrange to have your breakfast served in the patio by the Toledo Room.

Housekeeping is done everyday. Beach towels are provided.

Hair blowers are available for guests. Please ask the administration.

WE LIVE IN THE TROPICS! We fumigate the INN every month, including the guests rooms and we are proud to say we are bug FREE. To keep it that way; we request guests asks us for zip lock bags and/or plastic containers so critters are not attracted to the rooms.

We also have designated areas on the third floor terrace for guests to keep their groceries.

We have pets of our own and they are not allowed in the rooms or beds since guests can be allergic to them. We love animals, but since we can not be sure guests with pets will not allow them on the beds, we can not accept pets at this time. :-(

Additional Location Information

Condado is the perfect place to base all of your Puerto Rican adventures out of! With its shady tree lined streets and pedestrian and tourist friendly atmosphere you will see why many chooses to stay in this high class area of San Juan. During the day on the main street in Condado, Avenida Ashford, you can enjoy many shops and boutiques ranging from tourist stores to high end couture. At night, enjoy the area's wide selection of restaurants, bars, and lounges. There is something for everyone, if you're feeling lucky you may want to try a casino. Condado is also conveniently located to the east of historic Old San Juan, as well as north of San Juan's metropolitan areas. Here you will find museums, botanical gardens, arboretums, theater and a wide array of concerts. Local monthly events include jazz festivals, gallery nights, culinary festivals, and many cultural events. If you desire to explore the rest of the island Condado is centrally located to all major airports and highways.

Rates vary depending on number of guests and extra amenities.

Rates start at $125.00 USD per room.

Depending on your choice of accommodations the following will apply:
-Group rates (8-10 guests): minimum 4 nights.
-Individual room/s reservations: minimum 2 nights.
-A deposit of 50% is required to hold reservation.
-We accept Pay Pal, Visa, Discovery Card, and Master Card.
-$30.00 for each additional guest in the room including children 5 and up.
-Children 4 years or younger are free, except a $20.00 setup and housekeeping fee every 4 days. (This is subject only to additional persons or children per rooms.)
-Local taxes of 20% are not included in the rate shown.
-If you decide to reserve more than one room, (example: the Granada and Escalona rooms,) a 5-10% discount will apply. Only 1 discount per reservation.
-Group reservation have a different discount. Call for information.
Long term rates apply only when reservations are made through the Inn.

-1 week: 5% discount
-2 weeks: 10% discount
-3 weeks: 15% discount
-1 month: 20% discount

  I have always stayed at the conference hotel for convenience, but Natalie has forced me to rethink my strategy. Casa Castellana offers: a comfortable room with a cultural decor within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the beach (no-hassle parking); personal service from folks who are now my friends, who know the area and go out of their way to make my stay the most enjoyable experience; and a breakfast that will delight the taste buds (they even share their recipes) and filled me so I would not have to pay for a lunch!
  
  We listened to others at the conference complain about power outages, not being near anything, and the headaches and additional expense they experienced at the conference hotel. The Casa Castellana provided a fantastic experience in Puerto Rico, a wonderful room and meal, while saving money compared to the conference hotel.

  Fabulous hospitality in a beautiful, well located home!

  We took an extended family of 11 here and stayed for a week...every day was fabulous! The house is beautiful and conveniently located so you can walk to numerous places. The owners are so helpful in helping you decide how to best use your time in Puerto Rico and they will fill you up daily with a scrumptious breakfast. We can't recommend them enough!
