      White Magic

Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in March 2011

A magical white oasis in a green jungle. A great space for sharing and chilling on the balconies and roof garden. Loved going out to go inside - rooms are arranged so they are reached via the abundantly planted terraced gardens. Also loved the magical dawn light. The many windy little paths that lead you on a Tolkien journey to discover quirky little cafes and yoga retreats etc..

      1 week of bliss!

Left on 02/14/2013 for a stay in March 2011

1 week of pure bliss! Weary and tired after journeying overland and sea from Venezuela, idyllic Casa Blanca was the perfect place to rest our weary bones...
Casa Blanca was a luxurious treat with spacious and caringly decorated indoor/outdoor living spaces and truly magnificent views. The house is also practical: being only a short walk to/from San Marcos (the very happening lakeside community). The houses location means that it skips out on all the noise of the town while retaining the possibility of joining in at a moments notice!
      Lovely!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay... just outside the busiest part of town... but still close enough to feel safe and peaceful...so wonderful to have the view...but so wonderful to be able to have a bath...and a wonderful hot shower...beautifully equipped kitchen to... and easy to live inside or outside... depending on the rain!... so lovely I didnt want to leave...

      Great Views and Spacious Ease

Left on 02/13/2013 for a stay in July 2012

Spent a week at this beautiful property. Conveniently located in a quiet part of town. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The grounds keeper was so nice to bring us fresh coconuts :) Looking forward to my next stay.

      Beautiful Casa, beautiful views

Left on 02/12/2013 for a stay in March 2011

Stayed here for a couple of weeks during gap year travels around South america, although it's much more appropriate for families, romantic getaways etc than traditional broke backpackers roughing it. Anything but rough. Easily the nicest place I stayed during 7 months in Sa, including a 4 star hotel. Furnished with care and attention, very stylish yet very homely, and plenty of perfectly placed hammocks to enjoy the view.

      Paradise in Guatemala

Left on 02/12/2013 for a stay in September 2012

Our stay exceeded expectations on all counts. Not only is Lake atitlan exceedingly picturesque but this house is the perfect accomodation setup with spacious " cool" rooms & amazing decks to capture the views. The kitchen was well equipped with a great dinning table. Close to one of the best cafes & walking distance to super cool restaurants. We"ll be back!

      Mesmerized by the view

Left on 02/12/2013 for a stay in January 2011

It's hard to pull oneself away from Casa Blanca to go exploring as why leave Paradise? Forget the world and all its stresses and simply be. To say that the view is incomparable is no exaggeration; in fact, to my mind it has the very best of any house on the lake. Plus all mod cons. Who could ask for more.

The feeling you get being in this home is something that only happens when you combine the greatest and most spectacular natural beauty on the planet with the absolute perfect location (view) and a beautiful, gorgeous home design. It's stunning. Super comfortable. Magical. Impossible to leave.

Home away from home on Lake atitlan

Left on 02/04/2013 for a stay in May 2012

Lovely to be close enough to the centre of San Marcos to be there in a few minutes and far enough away to appreciate the beautiful scenery and tranquility of the lake from the verandah of Casa Blanca.

      Peace of Heaven

Left on 01/08/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Its incredible views of the lake and the simplicity of the property...yet all encompassing (fully equiped kitchen, full bathroom, extra toilet downstairs)...make this the ideal retreat to "disappear" to! It is so close to the town center (2 min walk down the main road) which makes it very handy access. There is even a carport for those motorised guests.
