My large, comfortable apartment on avenida Independencia was an absolute pleasure to walk into; clean, bright and airy. Renee, the owner, was a charm.
The street-front unit #2, was quiet with a constant flow of passers-by which included local residents on horseback and made for great viewing with an uncrowded, hilly backdrop. The 20 minute walk into town (left at the first footbridge)was easy and scenic with friendly locals all along the way. Walking straight down Independencia takes you passed small stores and markets with fresh flowers, produce and cake bakeries. Best of all were the take-out rotissiere chicken stalls. 500 pesos included a whole chicken, a coleslaw type salad and fresh tortillas (enough for 4 people). You can also BBQ your own chicken on the rooftop BBQ grill or you can catch a little sun in the lounge chairs, always with a steady San Miguel breeze and a view worth writing home about.

My wife and I enjoyed our vacation tremendously . Renee is such a sweet person . You can't ask for anyone better . She had a book of the city and she marked out a lot of sites too see which you don't get unless you're staying at a Hotel( and you have to ask for that service , but she did it on her own ) . I would not only recommend anyone staying at her place " I would demand it " . The location is perfect . Not in the middle of the city ( which was perfect ) but close enough that you could walk it . After eating as much as I did ( my wife isn't a big eater ) I needed to get some excercise . The view is beautiful also . Renee , I can't thank you enough for being the person that you are . I will be seeing you again .

We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed every minute. The owner offers a well designed space(s). We enjoyed the street level, two bdrm, two bath. The kitchen equipped fairly well. We did miss a microwave oven.
We opted not to have TV set up to catch up on our reading.
The upper patio(s) are fabulous! Views, BBQ, a large area to have friends over and relax.
The neighborhood was so friendly and welcoming.
We could walk or bike ride to centro (10-20 minutes) and just down the street, Independencia there are local street markets full of fun and favorable experiences.
We would highly recommend. -

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful rental. (We stayed in the top floor apartment/1 BR, 1 Bath) Everything was practically new and of very nice quality - from the appliances and kitchen supplies to towels and linens. (That can be difficult to find at this price point.) We had lots of windows with nice light and views to open, green space. Also, loved the (shared) finished & appointed rooftop terrace! The apartments are located about 20 minutes from the main jardin, which is a bit of a walk, but through nice, traditional neighborhoods (or, take a 30 peso taxi ride.)
The staff were always cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend this rental - especially for longer stays. -

I have been a multiple time renter at 76 avenida Independencia in SaN Miguel DE allende, Mexico
I feel that these apartments are probably the best value in town
they are in the most Modernly Funished and equipped, Exceptionaly clean and secure building that I have ever rented
the magnificent views of the entire valley and the town of SaN Miguel from every room make each day a treat
in particular, I enjoy the beautiful rooftop terrace in the afternoons. It is a perfect place for a glass of wine and a tranquil spot to read a book and enjoy the views
EVa, the building manager, is a charming lady who strives to make all your needs a reality
I look forward to staying there again in the very near future
