Alice's Palace offers a fully furnished Studio apartment which sleeps two and includes a private furnished terrace. Alice, the owner, lives onsite and will do everything possible to make your stay in San Miguel de Allende a truly memorable experience.

This cozy apartment, with a private entrance, includes everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay. The 22 inch thick walls keep the quiet interior comfortable. The private terrace has some of the best views in town.

The entrance to the apartment is just up the stairs off the main entrance foyer. Natural light from two windows and a skylight shine in on a comfy queen sized be...d with 100 percent cotton linens and down filled pillows and comforter. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove top, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, dishes, pots and pans, and drinking water for cooking and serving your latest Mexican cuisine. But, with so many fine restaurants and places to see nearby, you may not want to cook or spend your time inside. If you do want to rest up for the next outing, the 22 ft. x 24 ft. living area includes cable television and a high speed wireless internet connection. We also provide you with free Vonage phone service for those calls to the U.S. or Canada. Just off the bedroom is a bath with a shower and a bright sunny window. Your 22 ft. x 36 ft. private terrace, right above the apartment, awaits with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and the historic center of San Miguel de Allende.

Additional Location Information

Alice's Palace guest house is located in the heart of the historical area. It has some of the best views in town, with up-close views of two of the most important historical colonial churches in San Miguel. Spectacular views also include the surrounding mountains and romantic sunsets.

Everything you need is right outside your door. Fresh-made tortillas, vegetable or fruit juices, and a grocery store are within half a block. It is an easy 2-1/2 block walk to the central plaza Jardin, outdoor folk market, language schools, theaters, art galleries, bars and restaurants. Bus stops, taxi stands, and the following are just a few steps away

  I have stayed at alice's Palace each time I have visited San Miguel de allende and have never been disappointed. There are so many pluses to the apartment that I find it difficult to list all of them. The location is wonderful, situated on one of the oldest streets in town, yet an easy walk to the main plaza, shopping, restaurants and the English language library, which also has a movie theater. If a visitor wants a bus or taxi, both are directly across from alice's Palace. Having difficulty finding what you want in San Miguel--ask alice, who is a wealth of information and the perfect owner/hostess. If you are looking for a comfortable and easily accessible place to stay with a very reasonable rate, Alice's Palace is the place to be.
