Designed by our favorite local interior designer Rachel Horn and Finca Home, this charming 2 bedroom centro jewel, is not to be passed up!
The centro charmer is packed with personality and all the creature comforts - beautiful linens.
The house is 4 levels. As you walk in the front door you have a formal living area with fireplace, dining area - seats six, kitchen, half bath, and small bar area.
If you walk up the stairs you have a bedroom with a Queen bed, bathroom, and covered outdoor sitting area with fountains. Great place to read a book, while looking at the downtown landscapes.

This home is lovely - the views are unbelievable. Enjoyed sitting on the patios in the morning with coffee and then on the top level patio for evening views of the sunset behind the cathedral. Can't ask for more...so close to the Jardin. Easy walk back and forth for dinners and evening strills...

I have been going to San Miguel de allende for over 40 years, staying in hotels, rental houses, condos, etc. I stayed at Casa Murillo three times in the past 2 years and for 10 days this past april with my friend Shirley whose niece owns the home. The house is well located in Centro two blocks from the Jardin in walking distance to restaurants, shops,etc. Josefina, cook/maid, is a great cook, eager to please you in every way. The house is beautifully furnished with all the amenities. There are two separate, private bedrooms with their bathrooms (tub and shower) so it is a perfect place for two couples or two individuals who require their own rooms. There is a rooftop terrace and an outdoor room on the third level from which you have panoramic views and gorgeous sunsets. It is a very good value, I believe. One caveat is the house is on four levels so there are stairs. Otherwise it is an ideal hideaway to enjoy the charming, interesting, safe town of San Miguel de allende.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Casa Murillo enjoying the day of the dead celebration. What an incredible and magical time we had. Casa Murillo was splendid. We loved the architectural and design elements of the home and the location couldn't have been better. Our favorite time of the day was twilight atop one of several roof-top patios watching the sun set with a glass of wine, listening to the water fountain from below. We recommend this casa to anyone visiting San Miguel. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the incredible hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with us.
