Custom Home w/ rooftop terrace/panoramic views San Miguel
Casa Puesta Del Sol is a modern custom built Spanish Colonial style home perched on a hilltop in Ojo De Aqua surrounded by pastel color villas which some say is reminiscent of Florence, Italy. The casa accommodates up to 8 persons and has 3 baths. There are sweeping panoramic views of the city from daybreak to sunset into star studded evening skies hovering over flickering city lights.
This special home has an “old world" charm but boasts all modern conveniences including: water purification system, radiant heat, 4 gas fireplaces (one on rooftop), custom kitchen w/oak cab...Read more

Charleston, SCMost beautiful home with amazing roof top view!
Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Words can not describe the wonderful experience we had in your beautiful home and enchanting San Miguel. We were awestruck from the moment we walked through the door. The casa was absolutely perfect, attention paid to every detail. The roof top view could not be topped by any hotel or restaurant that we visited while there and we visited many. Thank you all for sharing your home and town with us. We plan to make this an annual event. See you next april.
I just posted 90+ pictures on my Facebook page...Denice Brent Carlile.
Thank you again for everything.

south LouisianaBeautiful House

We stayed here two years ago. The house is outstanding. Realtor met us on sight and explained everything. She was available anytime we needed her. House has two master bedrooms which was perfect for couples traveling together. It has a super rooftop garden with firepit. You can see out over the city. In a wonderful location. All the comforts of home including heated floors and fireplace in both bedrooms. Fountain in entry way with skylight to bathroom. Lovely place. There was direct phone line to United States. Only cons-on steep hill and master bedrooms upstairs may be problem for elderly. . Rent this one-you can't go wrong!!

Mexico City, MexicoLovely house and very well equiped
Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We had a lovely stay, we rented the house for Christmas and our experience was above our expectations. We had more than we expected, mainly regarding the equipment of the house and decoration. Fireplaces in (almost) every room made it super comfortable, as well as the heating in the floor. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Overall the house makes you feel warm and cozy.
The only complaint we have, is that we were 6 people (3 couples) and the third room available was super small and not nearly as comfortable as the other two. It had a really small bed, no fireplace; mainly a small space adapted with a bed.
Hot water in the showers is a real problem. It takes ages to heat, never comes out warm enough, and it only supports two of the bathrooms. We could never get hot water in the third bathroom and also we could never take showers one after the other, we always had to wait for a while until we could have hot water again.
Overall, great experience. Would totally recommend it for a family weekend, but only for 4 or 5 people at the most. Be ready to excercise on your way back to the house, the street is extremely steep! -

Austin, TSCharming, unique and spacious home for a one of a kind vacation!
Left on 02/08/2012 for a stay in January 2012
My husband and I loved every minute of our stay here! We enjoyed the influence of the surrounding area with every modern convenience you could want. We could walk to majority of places on our agenda and/or take a taxi with ease and very reasonable rates. The home was perfectly kept inside and out; every room was comfortable and charming. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

Aussies On The Road
Adelaide, AustraliaWonderful Start to an Extended Holiday
Left on 06/11/2011 for a stay in March 2011
My wife and I recently spent 3 weeks at Puesta Del Sol at the start of our extended stay in San Miguel and found it hard to leave when it was time to move on. We were enchanted with the unparalleled views from the rooftop, enamored with the kitchen facilities (having reverse osmosis treated water is so convenient too), and simply delighted with the light and space of the home. And then there were the staff, Jorge the gardener and azucena the maid/cook-- they were so discreet yet personable and really catered to our personalities and needs as if we were long lost family friends. Sound too good to be true? It almost was. Of course, there is one other small "benefit" I should mention-- the hill leading up to the house provided mandatory exercise each day to help work off the calories of living the good life in SMa but you can cheat and simply catch a cab back home too). It's not often that a place delivers on everything it is represented to be, but this home certainly did, and provided us with a sensational start to our extended holiday.

Holiday, FlBeauiful experience

From the front door to the rooftop this house is a delight. The beautiful mexican architecture is reflected everywhere, even in the ceilings. The double windows open to let in the cool night air which makes for a refreshing nights sleep. The modern conveniences completes the comfort zone for a delightful visit. From the garden for breakfast to the rooftop for evening drinks all was perfect. I wholeheartedly look forward to returning. Thanks
