CASA NARANJA (The Orange House) on Parque Juarez is located in the most perfect and peaceful spot in all of Centro in San Miguel De Allende. This lovely, happy, spacious house is across the street from Parque Juarez and sandwiched between the new Five Star boutique Hotel Matilda and the new Five Star Artesana Rosewood Hotel. CASA NARANJA is directly on Aldama, which is highly regarded as the most breathtaking and magnificent street in town, due to it's charming, pastel colored, multi-million dollar colonial houses. CASA NARANJA is a 3 story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, terraced home with th...e special laid back, artistic flair of it's owner, who is a Film Maker and has spent many years living between LA, NYC, Brooklyn, Chicago, Tulum and San Miguel.

CASA NARANJA'S first floor features an open loft–style feeling. Large windows (secluded from street) provide nice sunshine and natural light. The spacious, ivory colored room has a custom designer sofa, coffee table, chairs, rugs, Mezquite farm table for indoor dining. A petit modern kitchen opens to the living area from a gorgeous, polished concrete bar where one may enjoy a glass of wine while someone chops and dices for the evening's meal. A large fridge, stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, DVD/iPod player, gourmet spices, wine glasses, dinnerware, and plenty of vases for flowers, make for elegant and easy entertaining. The first floor also contains a half bath.

A sun filled, back yard filled with olive trees and fruit trees includes lime, lemon, pomegranate, and orange trees with mature fruits. The perfect place for a romantic outdoor dining experience. A french farm table is nice for breakfast, lunch, dinner or perhaps writing poetry or a novel... A touch of Provence in Mexico.

The second floor of the house features a guest bedroom with a brand new queen sized bed, large closets, wonderful artisan textiles, rocking chair, large window, and access to a full bathroom. On the second floor one will also find a colorful study with doors that open to a small balcony overlooking the park. The study is a wonderful spot to enjoy fresh breezes while surfing the internet via wifi, listening to your favorite tunes on the iPod/CD player, reading a magazine, gazing out at the park or at the owner's favorite pieces of art.

The top floor of the house is akin to a spacious, private tree house where the master bedroom, full bath and large terrace overlook Aldama and Parque Juarez. This floor features a new king sized bed from which one can see an endless array of treetops and the moon and stars at night. A large terrace filled with roses, lavender, bougenvilla, flowering trees and jasmine plants is accessed via a sliding glass door. This uber relaxing space also has an outdoor bed for sleeping, sun bathing or star-gazing. In addition, a full bathroom, flat screen TV with US cable channels, DVD player, movie library and wonderful closet space make this floor an independent living area from the rest of the house.

Without a doubt, CASA NARANJA is a wonderful house in an unbeatable location. Nearby hotels start at $500 USD per night... Perfect for a couple, two couples, or a family of four.   We loved this house. Checking in was easy we were met at the door by the housekeeper who gave us keys and showed us everything. The first floor has a living area that blends into a nice clean kitchen with all new appliances, very easy to cook in which is great if you're there for awhile, and a small backyard with a lemon tree where you can sit and have coffee. The next floor has a very comfortable bedroom and a t.v. room with a view of the park through french doors and flowers. But my favorite space is the top floor which is sunny and spacious and has a large patio that overlooks the park full of blooming gardenias and bougainvillea. Heaven.
  
  The other best thing heres is location, you are minutes from the Plaza without having to walk uphill. The neighborhood is safe. There are great restaurants minutes away and there is the beautiful Rosewood Hotel around the corner. It has a great rooftop bar, and a beautiful pool you can buy a day pass for.
  
  Really enjoyed our stay. Just note, all the floors are tile, don't run down the stairs in your socks!
