Perfect for two people or ideal for a large group. The house and apartments are never shared with strangers...Villa Feliz books as a complete unit. The main house is bright and charming with a large living room and the feeling of indoor/outdoor living. The outdoor living area is spacious and a perfect way to relax and dine in the privacy of this secluded area surrounded by beautiful gardens. Malena truly enjoys giving Mexican cooking lessons.

The neighborhood is quite even though San Miguel is known for fiestas and noise. The friendly neighbors and children will greet you with a smile and a welcome.
"The location was perfect- a short walk to shops and restaurants and we always felt very safe. We felt as though we had our own luxury Mexican Villa for the price of an American hotel room. We can't wait to return!!"

This house is perfect for the couple that enjoys space and privacy, any size family or a group of friends. Villa Feliz only rents as one total unit and is never shared with others.

Lovely home. Comfortable. Beautiful Garden. Great staff. Every need was met. Lots of privacy if traveling with a large family or group of friends. Malena, the cook and housekeeper, was wonderful, warm and ready to please you, prepare meals and shop.Jose, the handyman was very helpful. His English was excellent and he was there immediately when needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We could not have selected a more suitable house for 4 travelers. Lots of privacy; very comfortable; a 15 minute walk from center of town.
Super cook and house boy - great for casual home meals or dinner parties. Friendly neighborhood; nearby corner stores. Away from active town center; but close enough to walk and safe at night.

Our stay was full of wonderful surprizes. The location made walking into town fun and easy. Our rooms were very comfortable with lots of extra charm. The outside area was such fun to meet in for a glass of wine, coffee. We all felt the seclusion of a villa and the comforts of a charming home. I think the house, including the casitas fits 4 singles comfortabelly or 3 couples. The living room is large and everything works. I would return without hesitation.

This was our third visit to Villa Feliz and we can hardly wait to get back to this wonderful and comfortable vacation home. Malena gave our group her Mexican recipes and prepared them for us as we experienced her "cooking lessons". She fixed a lovely breakfast every morning and we truly enjoyed in the garden atmosphere. Her chicken enchilades were one of our favorites.
This was designed with an indoor/outdoor flair that is special with the flowers, birds, butterflies and sunshine. The location is one of our favorite attributes of this house. It is in a mixed Mexican and american community so we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the with the friendly neighbors with a short level walk to the center of town. The Instituto, which has classes galore, is just a few blocks away yet it is a rather quiet neighborhood without the noise and traffic of downtown. We certainly hope to return to Villa Feliz in the near future! -

We had a great time. Four ladies enjoyed Villa Feliz very much. It is a wonderful retreat after a busy day enjoying all the activities in town. The villa is lovely and looks just like the pictures we saw online. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck and the courtyard garden for relaxing, reading and visiting surrounded by the gorgeous plantings. Jose and Melena were super. So pleasant and helpful and Melena really is an excellent cook. Her chicken enchiladas and guacamole are to die for. The owner was very available and gave us lots of helpful information that added much to our stay. The drivers she recommended did a great job getting us to and from the airport in Leon. We might have wanted to be a little closer to the Jardin, but with taxis everywhere for only $2.00 (us) it was fine. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Here is a copy of the email I sent you after our wonderful vacation visit last april.
Again let us thank you for a very special visit in your home in San Miguel. Gerry and I have always stayed in hotels and B&B;'s. This was our first experience in a rental home and we will always vacation in rental homes in the future. It was a personal experience having you take the time to greet us when we arrived with all your helpful hints, recommendations and suggestions for things to do, restaurants to try and courses to take.
San Miguel was so much fun. I set up my easel on the roof and could not have found a more perfect spot. Gerry found the downstairs patio the perfect location for his daily Spanish lessons with Josephina, his tutor.
We found your home to be very interesting and constantly discovered many aspects that you have created to make the Villa comfortable and charming. The house layout was perfect for Gerry and I and our daughter and son-in-law. We all enjoyed the privacy that the house provided.
We found both Malena and Jose charming and anxious to keep us happy. Malena's meals were the best ever. Please give them our regards. We used the massage gal several times and would like to recommend her relaxing massages. We hope to stay in touch. We would like you to stop in and visit when you find yourself in Florida.
