Our car taker, Mr. Sam was most helpful. He was always available. He biked with us into town, provided wood for us for the grill, took care of our trash and helped with the transport of our luggage. Great guy.
We were also very impressed with the dive master Gene and his crew. They were always on time and offered their flexible services to us, something we very much appreciated.
Nirvana is a very nice house, clean and well equipped. The early beautiful sunrise from the upper porch is something I will remember for a long time.

Our trip was 6/3/11 - 6/11/11. This was our first time in Belize. I was a little nervous renting this house at first (because of the distance and unfamiliarity). Daniel, the owner, was very prompt and responsive to each and all of my emails and calls. He turned out to very honest and reliable. He was also proactive in making sure we had little details covered (like getting the house stocked with provisions before we arrived, and arranging for us to be picked up and returned to the dock in San Pedro to/from the Nirvana house. This was huge on the evening of our arrival.) He made sure the caretaker (Sam) took care of us. Sam's a friendly, helpful, local neighbor who was checking on, and helping us with our needs daily. The house is right on the water and has Great Views. Our activities were largely directed by neighbor / dive master / fishing guru, Genie Matura (of Coral Divers Belize). Daniel's glowing recommendation of Genie turned out to be right on the mark. Genie is an easy going, fun, reliable, knowledgeable, local guide. Our family did multiple trips with him and had a lot of fun. With him, we snorkeled in multiple areas, toured Bacalar Chico, caught snappers & barracudas, swam close to the sting rays and sharks, visited Caye Caulker, gather Conch, ate Ceviche, had a BBQ on a remote beach, and shared his Excellent cooking, along with a few Belikens (Genie's quite the chef). The house is located about 4. mi from town. It is just north of the Las Terrazas Resort. We visited the Terrazas Resort and the Coco Beach resort. These are nice resorts but we really appreciated being at our special location at the Nirvana House where we had our privacy, our 24/7 "on-the-water" views and the friendly authentic locals to interact with. Our family also loved the bikes and sea kayak available at the house. These kept everyone busy when we weren't doing day trips with Genie. All in all, a great vacation house.

We had a wonderful time in Belize. The house was great, very comfortable with the constant ocean breezes. Sam was very attentive and Genie made everything easy. The diving and snorkeling were amazing. We also enjoyed a day at Lamanai visiting the ruins. This proved to be a totally relaxing vacation in paradise. We also enjoyed at a great dinner out at Las Terrmes (? spelling). Overall it was all great! If we ever return to Belize, we will definitely return to Nirvana. You are lucky to have such a wonderful place.

We had an awesome time in Casa Nirvana. This is a great rental property. It was spacious and clean and the views from the porches are fantastic. The caretaker was very attentive to our need. It is a perfect place for anyone looking to go scuba diving as it is very close to the reef and the owner of a dive business is a few houses down and is very good at organizing all of your dive/excursion needs. It was like having a personal concierge for the week. He even organized taxi rides into town when we needed them. This was really great to have! This end of the island is very quiet and there is not a lot of traffic. It is somewhat inconvenient if you plan on going into town a lot... if that is the case, you may want to rent a golf cart... but if you want to relax without stress it is perfect. The owner is very easy to reach via email or phone. There are 4 bikes and a sea kayak on the property which you can use.. it was really nice to have these amenities. My only other negative comment would be that the furniture is getting a little shabby. I have rented a lot of beach houses in the past and it seems to be on par with others I have rented. It think these types of rental properties just tend to get a lot of wear and tear. Overall we had a fantastic vacation and I would definitely recommend this property.

I stayed at you Nirvana San Pedro Beach House twice so far. It was an idyllic base in a fantasyland of islands, jungles, Mayan ruins, creole culture, tropical weather, and a spectacular blue ocean teaming with life. I enjoyed doing my own cooking there, depended on its air conditioning, but was a pioneer before you got wifi internet (I would have save a lot of time on the slow internet down the road otherwise). I have fond memories of playing music on the docks at sunset and of spying the travels of a particular hermit crab. Your assistant Sammy is a wonderful, kind man who was absolutely essential for me making sense of how to enjoy my stay in this foreign utopia without a car. Thanks!

The coral reefs were beautiful and the views for the house were wonderful. The house was very comfortable with breath taking views.
