Beautiful Villa Casa Buena Vista is located right on our own private beach. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the top island spot/beach and just 2 miles South of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
For rent is the entire ground floor with its own entrance and private beach side terrace. It has 1200 sq ft, two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom, with a fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, AC, 3 flat screen TVs.

Great place to stay outside of San Pedro so it was quiet and a beautiful location. Yet the golf cart we rented from Carts Belize was delivered to us, the jet skis we rented for our teenagers were delivered to the dock just outside, and the taxi boat from the catemaran snorkle boat picked us up at the dock! Just had to say we were at Wolfgang's place and they knew where to come.
The unit was clean, modern and well set up with satilite TV on 3 flat screens, one in each bedroom and one in the livingroom... just in case it was raining or we needed a day to recover. Wolfgang and his staff made sure all our needs were taken care of and we were check in on nicely every day. They were a big help with setting up activities, doing laundry and getting to know the area.
Werecommend this friendly little place just far enough out of town, yet close enough to a couple nice restaurants, to be a perfect escape. -

Not many places that I vacation and return as there is so much to see on our planet. This is year three at Casa Buena Vista. I love the peace found on the south side of the island and the comfort and safety provided by the owner and host, Wolfgang and his wonderful staff, Eldon and Merta and of course the pups, the famous Cookie, check him out on Facebook, yes he has his own page... and Tiger the newest addition. The perfect spot, snorkel and swim from the private beach, enjoy the beauty and quite. Each year something new has been updated or added. I will look forward to the completion of the new outdoor shower, though I used the current one daily. So much to do if you are looking for adventure, get picked up off your dock. Evenings in town are filled with folks having fun, though the nightlife I most enjoy is the stars coming out and the sound of the breeze through the coconut trees. Looking forward to next time...

We spent 3 weeks at Villa Casa Buena Vista and loved every minute of it. It is located 2.5 miles south of town which gives you a very peaceful safe environment. Golf cart is a must if you want to take in everything San Pedro has to offer. Being ocean front is a perfect location for sunrises and abundance of sea life. Long beach walks to town were one of our favourite things to do. Enjoyed using the kayak which is available to guests. We used Suya tours for all of our tours and couldn't have had better service. They are just a walk down the beach to book all your tours. Eldon (grounds keeper) was always available to assist with anything we needed and Mirta kept things in order for us in the house. We will definitely have a return visit in the future and will recommend Villa Casa Buena Vista to our friends. We can't forget Cookie and Tiger who were always eager to come for a walk. 10 out of 10!!

We recently got back from a week stay at Casa Buena Vista. What a wonderful place and location, not too close to town, but close enough. The beach and view were exceptional as were the accomodations. Wolfgang, Eldon and Mirta were very helpful with all of our requests and made good suggestions as well. Then there is Cookie of course, he was an excellent watch dog as well as fun entertainment. I would highly recommend Casa Buena Vista to anyone and hopefully we will be back soon.

We stayed 10-24 to 11-02. I've been trying to get to the island for almost two years and I got to celebrate my 59th birthday with my 13 year old granddaughter, she had a blast. Eldon the grounds keeper, grilled me 2 lbs of lobster tails for my birthday dinner in coconut husk...excellent and only cost me $12.50. What you read from others about this property is right on so I will not write it all over again.
Wolfgang is an excellent host and between him and Eldon will get you everything you need. Wolfgang will take you to town the first day and show you all the places to go or not to go.
The property has everything you need, cable TV, kitchen items etc. Myrta the house keeper will even do your laundry for you which was a nice bonus. I took my dog Elvis with us and when we were out Eldon or Myrta would let him out and walk him on the beach, nice touch guys! Also there's a little store right by the property that you'll find just about everything you need like rum and coke!
Overall a wonderful stay and I'm going back although this time with the love of my life (future wife) either in May or October.

Just returned from my third vacation at buena vista. It has become asecond home,family and set of dogs for me. Every time I return Wolfgang has improved and made it more beautiful.
This time I came solo but felt very safe and relaxed.Eldon and Murta were always available to help me with any need. The beach is to die for. The restraunts are very good and did I mention the fresh friut! Dont book anywhere else!! I will see you soon. Gs from Montana -

My wife and I wanted something a short distance from town with a little privacy, some amazing views, all the basic amenities, and on the beach...Found it. This great little house is perfect and even comes with its own awesome local tour guide upstairs, Wolfgang. Wolfgang and his great two person staff leave you alone when you want privacy and then will totally guide you in the right direction when you need help. They really came through for us a couple of times...trust me, in on a small island like this, it pays to know a couple locals. The house has everything you need and is very clean and updated. We must have logged 100 hours on that great little back porch just doing nothing and loving it.

Our stay at Casa Buena Vista was everything advertised and more. We rented a golf cart and San Pedro was a fun, easy drive to any restaurants or stores.
Wolfgang and Eldon, both made excellent host and made sure all questions were answered and anything we wanted or needed was taken care of. The property itself is very well maintained, plenty of lounge chairs to bask in the sun, grill to cook with, all the amenities of home yet in a beautiful setting.
I highly recommend this villa as a place to stay when on vacation in San Pedro. Excellent!

This is a great place to stay! Wolgang is an amazing host and the house is just as advertised and shown in the photo's. It is a modernly appointed apartment, less that 50 yards from the beach. The views are amazing from the beach. The sunrises are beautiful and there is a constant breeze across the property. We enjoyed simply sitting around reading and grilling out at the house. Our visit was two weeks long...simply wish it had been longer. The Island is filled full of very graceous people, and the time spent was well worth the trip. I would definitely go back and stay here again! Cookie, Wolfgangs dog certainly added to the experience and made us feel right at home.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

This was the best vacation I've ever had! My BFF and I stayed at Casa Buena Vista for 14 glorious days. From our very first inquiry during our planning, for two full weeks and until we sadly drove off the morning of our departure, Wolfgang and his wonderful staff Eldon and Mirta, took care of us with such warmth and kindness. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked and we used the grill frequently. We got a great tour of San Pedro the day we arrived. Being that we are both a little older we rented a golf cart and are happy that we did. Our daily trips to town to pick up fresh fruit and veggies from the Fabulous Maria, stops at the butcher shop for fresh sausage and the bakery for yummy peanut butter cookies were so much fun. We did a lot of our own cooking and grilling but also enjoyed several spots for eating out. Wolfgang will not disappoint with his recommendations! Our favorite, for a quick easy take out after a long day of snorkeling was Robin's for the best Jerk Chicken either of us have ever had. Suya Tours was fantastic! Also, if Mary is available for a message out on the porch over looking the water book her!! Without a doubt, in my opinion, the best amenity at Casa Buena Vista is Cookie, he will melt your heart from the moment you lay eyes on him. Cookie The Wonder Dog made our whole experience feel so much like a home in paradise. The people of San Pedro were warm and friendly making us feel very welcome. As we drove away from Case Buena Vista feeling heavy hearted there was a beautiful rainbow over the lagoon. My friend and I looked at each other through teary eyes and knew the beautiful rainbow was an affirmation that we would be back. We highly recommend this great property and it's hosts for your vacation to San Pedro. -

We just returned from a week's visit at Villa Casa Buena Vista. It was truly wonderful in every way and we left with so many great memories for years to come. Everyone had a fantastic time!!
Casa Buena Vista is on a beautiful part of the island - quiet with plenty of privacy and we felt completely safe but at the same time close to town and great restaurants. Owner Wolfgang was so supportive and helpful throughout the process, responding quickly to our inquiries and proving lots of tips and help with all the arrangements we needed (including discounts on a flight from Belize City and golf cart rental), excursions, tour of the island, best local eateries, places to buy groceries, etc etc. The house is so comfortable and had everything we would ever need and more. Comfortable beds, up to date appointments and modern conveniences like cable TV and Wi-Fi. Hammocks and beds on the beach surrounded by beautiful coconut palm trees and the best snorkeling and swimming on the island is all just steps outside the back door. We also all got really attached to Wolfgang's adorable and friendly dog, Cookie - who really made the experience feel like home with his endearing character.
We went on excursions and were picked up right from the dock outside - cave tubing/zip lining, snorkeling and scuba diving, and mayan ruin tours.
We'd go back again in a heartbeat and next time will bring more family to experience it with us.Response from Wolfgang - 05/13/2012

Wonderful place to relax, take it all in with excellent accomodations. Very nice and clean, with anything you would need. Wolfgang takes care of everything and makes you feel so comfortable and "at home". I will be dreaming of La Isla Bonita and Casa Buena Vista! We will be back! Two thumbs up.

We couldn't have asked for anything more. I would visit Casa Buena Vista again and again. Wolfgang was so accomodating, making us feel comfortable as sson as we arrived. The tour he gave us of town was invaluable to the rest of our stay. His staff was friendly and always there to assist us with any questions, issues, etc. His beach dog Cookie was also very instrumental in making our stay warm and entertaining. (love Cookie). The location was perfect for us. It was just close enough to town,about 10-15 minute golf cart ride, yet far enough to get that far away tropical feel. The views are stunning and the accomodations (diving, snorkeling, restarants)are right at your fingertips.

and very nicely furnished. It was very clean, and ready for us, upon our
arrival. The beachfront is fabulous. Its very close to "Hol Chan Marine Reserve"
and other prime snorkeling and diving sites. We had a perfect vacation on a
well maintained and excellent run rental property. 5 Star vacation. -

Wolfgang is an outstanding host at a very comfortable Villa in South San Pedro Belize. We enjoyed the location with many options for snorkle/scuba, fishing, sightseeing, dining in or out, and relaxing. We felt very safe and had a most enjoyable vacation.

Well... I just returned from a week in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize and stayed at Villa Casa Buena Vista. The villa, owned by Mr. Wolfgang Wind was everything it advertises to be. The villa is beautiful, very nicely furnished and has all the amenities one would want or need. Upon arrival, the villa was clean, and ready for us. The next morning, our host Wolfgang took us into to town to show us around and gave all kinds of great information on what the best local restaurants, markets and places to go (and avoid...) were.
The villa has everything, excellent wi-fi, 100+ channel satellite TV, full kitchen, and very nicely decorated. Eldon, the caretaker and Merta the maid took care of all of our needs and Wolfgang is a very gracious and wonderful host. The beach was excellent, and the shallow areas in front are great for swimming and snorkeling. Eldon even cracked open a fresh coconut from the beach for us to drink the coconut water from. There is a dive shop / tour operator only two properties down called "Suya Tours” that was excellent.
There is a couple of great places to eat and a local store (small, but has the essentials) within a short walk or golf cart ride. I highly recommend renting a golf cart, and Wolfgang was able to secure a discount for us through a local company. We met some of his neighbors next door and they were very nice to let us use the pool at their condo development one lot over.
This was an excellent vacation, and my first time to Belize, and based on the wonderful experience at Villa Casa Buena Vista and the wonderful hospitality of Wolfgang, I will be going back there to stay again. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and do not use hotels, but always rent a villa or condo and this was one of the best experiences I have had.

This was my first trip to ambergris Caye and I fell in love immediately. At Villa Casa Buena Vista and their very friendly and helpful staff you can not go wrong. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a tour of the area which was very helpful.
I highly recommend it and it's location on the southern end at Mosquito Coast which is delightful and with the gorgeous private beach and wonderful tradewinds it makes for an extremely pleasant stay. Just a quick golf cart ride to anywhere you want to go.
We used both bedrooms and bathrooms and everything was great including a large open area and full kitchen. Wide french doors open on to the veranda and you have a spectacular view of the sea from both inside and out.
Wolfgang was so helpful by sending us terrific information prior to our visit including what to bring, where to eat and how to get around, etc.
If you want a a bit of paradise, this is definitely the place to stay. -

Looking at the photo of the house I just want to go back! Wolfgang is a great host. You get a thorough tour of the town on the first morning of your stay, then he pretty much disappears into the background, appearing periodically to say hi and check in. This isn't fancy, and it's a ways from town - about 3 miles - so if you plan to spend a lot of time in town, you might want to rent a cart. But it's clean, safe, quiet, and the views are lovely. We miss Cookie the World's Friendliest Dog!
