Bottom line, Solaria II is not cheap but it is worth every penny. A large group of friends traveled to Belize for some diving and Solaria II was a great place to stay. The house is huge and very comfortable. The master bedroom was bigger than some apartments.. You are on a quiet stretch of beach so if you want nightlife and bars you will need to take the water taxi into town. Don't let the location put you off. We called a water taxi any time we wanted to run into town and it was very responsive

Our group had a wonderful week at Solaria II! Bedrooms were beyond comfortable with views to die for out of each suite. Furnishings were gorgeous and generous, with a high-tech kitchen that was fully stocked. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and spas. Jose took great care of us and showed us some of the "must-sees" in San Pedro. We will return as soon as possible!!!

What are you looking for - relaxation? Watch the sunset from the pool or the upstairs master; swim or soak in the private hot tub; check out the great restaurants nearby. Activity? Walk, run, or bike on the beach into town; take a kayak right out to the reef or into the lagoon out back; snorkel the (amazing!) reef. But why choose? You can do it all here and customize your own vacation in this amazing home, which is well-appointed and very comfortable.

Everything in the house was amazing. Flat screen TVs, comfortable (and huge) bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, and a stunning pool and jacuzzi right as you step outside. Even with 8 travelers, everything was extremely comfortable. We found some pictures on solariabelize.com before we went, and we weren't disappointed.
Nearby, there are many 5-star restaurants within walking distance, and further out, San Pedro was a must-visit for all of the street vendors, nightlife, and food. Staying at Solaria II, we had the best of all options for vacationing in ambergise Caye.
Finally, this property is a 5 minute kayak ride from the reef. It was truly amazing to be able to go from breakfast to an underwater tropical reef in less than 15 minutes. I would recommend this property whole heartedly to anyone looking for Caribbean vacation spots.

Had a fantastic stay at Solaria Villa II. This villa is the ultimate in luxury, with 4 xl bedrooms all with ensuites in this 5000 ft2 villa. The beach is beautiful and the view from all 3 decks is wonderful. Jose does a great job keeping the grounds in great shape, and keeping all the amenities in operation.

Paradise. The interior has been superbly completed with wooden finishings and decorative pieces that give it that exquisite and tranquil Caribbean feel. There are stunning views of the turquoise sea and the reef from the living room and bedrooms. It was such a pleasant experience waking up each morning with the sun rising over the sea and flooding the main 1st floor bedroom with beautiful natural light and walking onto the terrace and feeling the warmth of the sun, hearing the waves over the reef and watching the fauna on the white sand beach at the water's edge enjoying the day break as much as we did.
The villa is complete with every amenity one could ask for. We loved the equipped kitchen where we cooked dinners and enjoyed them on the terrace overlooking the sea soaking in the atmosphere. The villa is incredibly spacious basically the genuine feel of being in a serene Caribbean paradise embraced us which we loved.
The kayaks are fantastic to explore sea life rich reef. We had sting rays cruising through the under the kayaks. A prefect means to get around were the bicycles provided which allowed us to amply reach the town or grocery store. It was also a great way to meet local people as well as huge iguanas basking in the sun.
The villa has it own pier to which our diving outfit picked us up and dropped us off by boat after diving which added to the feeling of being pampered. The whirlpool was a marvelous addition as we would relax there with wine and let the body and mind relax with the stars shining above after a full active day of diving and kayaking.
The service was perfect, the villa immaculate and luxurious and the surrounding absolutely extraordinary. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a serene and stunning Caribbean setting with all amenities you could ask for, located on white sands and tucked between luscious greenery with the turquoise sea almost at your doorstep.

I visitted in april and had front door service. The staff were very accommodating. This enormous propert and home was hand crafted and felt like the outdoors were inside; just beautiful. Getting to the town was as simple as a aTV ride. Curb (ocean) pickup took us to an all day snorkeling trip on a catamaran. We used the kayaks to explore the bay. The songs the birds made made this place even more tranquil. What I loved best was the evenings by the pool and hot tub. The stars lit up the sky, and the only sound heard was the wind and the waved breaking. We took adavantage of the yoga class 1/2 mile down the road one morning which took place under a tiki hut over the ocean. This was the best vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life; a very private resort.

Margate, FloridaThe most wonderful Beach House in Belize.
Left on 12/22/2010 for a stay in February 2010
This remarkable four bedroom and four and one half bath house is the perfect beach house. Walk out the front door to the veranda and then step either into the beautiful custom pool or the jacuzzi hot tub. The house is not only beautifully furnished with local hardwoods and handicrafts it is completely equipped with flat screen televisions in every bedroom and a high definition large home theater system with surround sound in the living room. The owner even makes available a pretty good sized library of videos for your use. The video player is BluRay and he even has some of those beautiful Nature series. The owner also provides kayaks and bicycles for your use along with most everything else you would need. Of course you can go fishing right off the pier that is positioned at the front of the property by the beach. There is literally everything here that you could want and the concierge can arrange for anything you may want or need from provisioning the house before you arrive to a private chef to cook your meals. The photos and descriptions are accurate although the reality is much better than depicted on the website. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and you can walk for miles on the beach in either direction. Do yourself a favor and try this stunning property for yourself.

To reach the house from San Pedro you take a small boat(about 15 mins). The house is one of 3 with same style. The house is beautifully furnished with all top of the line appliances. There are flat screen tv's in all the rooms. There is a very good restaurant only a few minutes walk along the beach and a good bar with snacks 10 minutes walk heading south. There are even some restaurants which will send a boat to pick you up to go for dinner.
This is a truly spectacular location to get away from it all.
