The panoramic views of La Concha Bay and Santa Clara Island make La Isla a particularly attractive apartment.
As you can see in the property location map, La Isla is only a five-minute walk from Ondarreta Beach and just a bit further from La Concha Beach. The apartment is situated in Antiguo, one of the citys most authentic neighbourhoods, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy San Sebastián.
La Isla has a terrace with outdoor furniture, where you can take in the views while enjoying a cup of coffee or reading a book. The apartment faces a garden area and sits high above the quiet street below, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing... stay.
The living and dining room area features a sofa bed and comfortable white armchair in line with practical modern furnishings throughout. The dining area has a high table with bar stools. The open kitchen is practical, modern and well-equipped. La Isla comprises one double room with double bed, and a bathroom with shower and tub. The apartment is ideal for two people but can sleep up to four adults with two-person sofa-bed.
There is regular bus service to the city centre (5 minutes), although walking to the centre along the Paseo de la Concha seaside promenade is highly recommended. There are all types of shops in the Antiguo neighbourhood, in addition to bars, ciderhouses and restaurants. Ask us for recommendations at check-in and well be glad to help.
The apartment has a private parking area, which we highly recommend so as to avoid the hassles of parking in restricted areas.
Additional amenities include: sofabed, coffee maker, microwave-oven, ironing set, close to grocery stores, complete set of kitchen utensils, juice-squeezer, wooden floors, bed linen & towels changed weekly, parking in the building, wi fi (high speed), double glazing, hair dryer, lift, sheets, electric blinds, outdoor furniture, baby crib & chair for free, balcony or terrace, parking under request, kettle, heating, mixer, breakfast bar, video entry phone, reinforced front door, bath tub.

This appartment is well equipped, a modern kitchen,a terrace with a superb view. It is not for the physiaclly challenged as it is up a very steep hill. We did it 3 times one day but only once thereafter, named it cardiac hill! Underground secure parking was well worth the money. The main old town is a 30minute walk along the beautiful seafront, Tapas to die for and the baches are superb. A great destination and a lovely apartment.

Quiet and comfortable base to explore a brilliant city on foot.

The meeting arrangements with the owner were very straight forward, he turned up when agreed and happily accommodated our early departure time the day we left. The underground parking gave peace of mind that the car and its belongings were safe, so definitely worth the extra money (on street parking did look a bit of a squeeze). As for the apartment itself, it had all the modern facilities you would need and was extremely clean and comfortable; perfect size for a couple. It had a full size fridge and freezer so plenty of room to stock up! The balcony is larger than it looks in the photos and we spent a lot of time out there. As for the location, it is in a quieter part of town and the walk to the "centre" or old town took 25 minutes. The most direct route is down the promenade which is very pleasant and therefore made the daily walk enjoyable. We preferred being able to escape the bustle of the main centre by being slightly further out. An added bonus was that the short walk to the promenade gave direct access to the lovely beach. A large supermarket is also a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The hill and/or steps up to the apartment was a good bit of daily exercise - more so with shopping bags! We would recommend the apartment as a welcoming comfortable base to explore San Sebastian, provided you don't mind pounding the pavements everyday. However, a taxi rank is 5 minutes from the apartment should you be feeling lazy...

We loved staying at this apartment. It had everything we needed and the location suited us. There are probably places closer to the city's "hot spots", but we enjoyed coming home to the peace and quiet. Still, it's easy to walk to just about anywhere from this location.
The extra money for parking was worth the money. Stress free.
Also, the WiFi worked great.
All in all, a great place to stay.
Pretty much perfect!

La Isla was a great apartment for our 8 day stay in San Sebastian. Clean, well equipped (we were especially grateful for the washing machine), nice area, lovely views, a few minutes from the beach... we had no complaints at all. The apartment is quite compact, wouldn't want to stay there with four adults, but for just me and my husband it was ample. The area (Antiguo) is lovely and has everything you need. It is a good 30 minute walk to the old town - which I can see might not suit everyone. However, the walk is beautiful (around the bay or along the beach), buses are frequent and convenient and the non-central location is reflected in the price, so don't be put off!
Superb San Sebastian

La Isla is an excellent small apartment situated about 40 minutes walk from the centre of San Sebastian or taxi rank 5 minutes away. Modern, clean, well equipped with a nice balcony. Efficient check in and check out from Feel Free Rentals. Read more

Arrived to our apartment after confirming our time (twice) and were left waiting in the rain for over 10 minutes. Apartment is near shops, bars, beach etc. but a bus ride to the old town where one would likely spend most evenings. Apartment has everything you would need for a comfortable stay and is beautifully decorated, however only one flat pillow supplied. While there were spare pillows, there were no clean covers provided. It is listed as sleeps 4 with free rentals...would not recommed! Again on departure, our contact was late, despite informing him that we needed to catch a train. Read more
We regret to hear that the service wasn't good, for the delay, the covers, and so on. We have already inform the owner so that next time he provides a couple of bed covers.
Regarding the distance to the Old Town, there is a 20 minute walk from the apartment to it. Buses run every 5 minutes to the Old Town and take around 10 minutes to get there. The price of this apartment is according to the distance, I mean, it is cheap comparing to the ones located in the centre of town.
In the description of the apartment, we say that the apartment has 50 square metres and one bedroom. People who want to stay usually are 2 adults with kids as it is a good option regarding the quality and the price.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and we will try to give you a really good service!

There were no real surprises on arrival as the apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures! However, the views were even better than I anticipated.
This is not a large apartment but it was a good size for a couple with a young child(our daughter is six) and it was clean, comfortable and stylish. The underground parking was also much appreciated in a city where parking is scare in peak season.
Overall, this was an excellent base for a lovely holiday and we were sad to leave after only 5 nights. Read more
It is great to see that you spend a nice holiday at La Isla apartment and that you found it as in the pictures, which it is the way we rent our apartments!
Neighbourhood is great, like a small village, and whenever you can go into "town".
We hope to hear from you soon, whenever you get a few days off again!

We stayed in San Sebastian during the last week of June. The weather was such as you can expect there: four sunny days, two cloudy days and one and a half rainy day. Anyway San Sebastian is so beautifull and the weather was perfect to walk with a raincoat. The apartment is located at five minute walking to Ondarreta beach, with great views from the balcony and a very quiet neighbourhood. Was perfect for us and our baby of 7 months. Read more
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the apartment La Isla.
El Antiguo is a very much alive neighbourhood with plenty of shops, bars and so on, but the location of the apartment is a part of all this noise with great views as you explain.
We hope to hear from you some other time for any of our destinations.
Excellent views but certainly small, unsuitable for 4 people.

Yes the garage could be accessed without going outside but with considerable luggage, this was a nightmare.
Very noisy, inconsiderate neighbours late at night.
Kitchen equipment not wonderful - no wine glasses, wooden spoons - not really equipped for those who like cooking.
