We rented this apartment from Feelfree Rentals online for 4 nights. I was able to email back and forth with the owners in English about parking (plenty of it), how to get there (by bus from San Sebastian every half hour or by rental car) and other small questions. We were met by the owners after I called from our rental car office at the San Sebastian airport--the owners live in the same building so that was quite convenient. The apartment is right in the center of this tiny town (about 500 people right in the area) that is up a small mountain with lovely views of the N. Atlantic. The apartment is quite modern and comfortable. There is no dishwasher, but there is a combination washer-dryer (which tends to leave the laundry quite wrinkled, unfortunately), a tiny corner market and several restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We happened to be there when a local agricultural goods fair and community party was going on all Saturday day and late into the evening and we loved it! This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Internet is included, as is cable TV.
If you are depending on GPS to find your way to Igeldo (Igueldo is the Spanish spelling, Igeldo is the Basque language--Euskera), from San Sebastian, you may be guided to a tiny narrow very steep road if you specify 'fastest time' (it isn't). If it looks like you are headed up that kind of a road, turn around at your first opportunity as it will quickly become impossible to do so and this is a dangerous road without 4 wheel drive, especially when at all wet.
Access to San Sebastian, Guernica (about an hour away) and Bilbao (an hour away) was easy by rental car and since parking in San Sebastian is difficult and the city very crowded in summer, this location is great! We weren't there in summer, but I loved it for its small town flavor, local people and the lovely area. -

We stayed here for a week. The apartment is very well set up with comfortable furniture. We chose the apartment for its view and we were not disappointed. The view is spectacular! We stayed with our teenage daughter and there was plenty of room for all of us. The owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Be aware that the apartment is not in San Sebastian central but is only a short bus trip in. There are restaurants and a small shop nearby. We chose to stay here rather than in one of the large apartment blocks in the centre and it was perfect for us.

Everything about this apartment was great. Bright, comfortable, well-appointed, and a spectacular view of the ocean. There were about 3-4 fantastic bars and restaurants within a stone's throw. The apartment was just the right distance from San Sebastian for us. There was a bus at the door for a 25 minute trip in which saved having to worry about what to do with the car when we got there. Loved it!

This was an excellent choice of holiday flat. We travelled with a 2 year old and the flat owners were more than accomodating! The flat itself was very well equipped and clean. There were 2 small playgrounds just outside the flat which was really useful. The owner was very friendly.
Would definitely stay here again!
