What really attracts your attention from the holiday apartment Okendo Terrace is the light, the tranquility and above all, the breathtaking views over San Sebastian that can be enjoyed from the fabulous terrace.
It is a recently refurbished apartment (July 2013) located in the neighbourhood of Gros, on the sixth floor of a building with a lift. It is next to La Zurriola beach, just two minutes away from the commercial centre of the city and the Old Town, just on the other side of Santa Catalina bridge.
It has a spacious open plan lounge-dining room with an integrated kitchenette. In the lounge-dining area there are two large windo...ws, one of them French style which gives direct access to the terrace. From here you will be able to enjoy amazing views over the river, the Urgull Mountain, the sea and some of San Sebastian’s most important landmarks.
In the lounge there is a comfortable sofa-bed and a flat screen TV set with DVD player. At the back of the sofa, there is a table and chairs where you and your party will be able to enjoy delicious meals on the hottest days, while you may use the terrace furniture for the summer evenings.
The modern kitchenette is located in a corner of this main room and it has top of the range electrical appliances as well as complete kitchenware.
The apartment Okendo Terrace has a bright and spacious bedroom, with a double bed of 150 cm and a large French style window with direct access to the terrace.
The modern bathroom is perfectly equipped with a shower.
The apartment Okendo Terrace also offers high-speed Wi-Fi Internet system as well as the possibility to rent a parking space in a nearby car park, what we really advise as it is quite difficult to park in the area.
Additional amenities include: sofabed, extinguisher, microwave-oven, ironing set, close to grocery stores, complete set of kitchen utensils, blinds, juice-squeezer, wooden floors, bed linen & towels changed weekly, double glazing, hair dryer, lift, sheets, outdoor furniture, baby crib & chair for free, next to the beach, parking under request, kettle, heating, mixer, shower, breakfast bar, includes national calls, coffee maker, first-aid kit, balcony or terrace.

Very beautiful view, good location,
Simple but quite confortable flat,
Basic kitchen crockery, had to buy decent glasses for wine.
Very noisy neighbours: loud tv since 8 am, forget staying in bed very late and some disco at night in the downstairs flat... good ear plugs required! Read more
The building is located in a quiet area where there are no bars nor discos, only the river opposite and shops underneath, which they are closed by 20 hours. The closest bar is 2 blocks away and it is not a music bar but a cafeteria style.
The neighbours within the building are San Sebastian citizens and we know most of them. They are working people who, we very much doubt, will organise wild parties.
Our office works 24 hours a day 7 days a week, in case something is wrong and we can help our guests at once. If perhaps you would have contacted us during your stay we could have checked what the problem was.
Finally, we would like to say that we have two more vacation rental apartments in the same building and both were rented on the same dates without any problems at all.
We would very much appreciate it if you could contact us directly and let us know what the exact problem was. This way we may perhaps address the issue in the best possible manner.
We are very sorry you didn't have a great experience and we hope you will in your next visit to San Sebastian.

Plus: location, view, modern decoration
Minus: windows should be replaced to decrease noise and a small air drift. Read more
Thank you very much for your comments.
We will take them in mind to improve our service.
I inform you that this apartment is renovated and windows are the only thing that we needed to change. Actually, we are changing them, so the apartment will be perfect to enjoy the views.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was comfortable, clean, and well-situated near the Kursaal and the Hotel Maria Christina, which was ideal during the Film Festival. Although a bit noisy on the terrace, it had an amazing view of the river and the sea where they meet. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who would like to prepare some of their meals there. Although the apartment was very stylish overall, we felt it could benefit from a bit of wall art!

This is a relatively small, but very luxurious and up-to-date apartment. It has a perfect location, right next to the old city (but just a bit more quit than out there) and with a great view of the river and the sea. The parking garage provided through the contract is a public one, and it's a solid 20 minutes walk. There's a parking garage nearby, and this would be a better option. But for the rest: just perfect!
What a view!

Service: Welcoming staff and when we had an issue with parking they were available on the phone to help.
Apartment: Clean, well furnished and what a view! On the top floor of the apartment block, there was a clear view over the river to the old town and the sea - unbeatable view. The apartment had clearly just been fitted-out with a new, well-equipped kitchen, great wet room and lovely comfortable beds.
Location & amenities: The best city in the world! Cafe within 5 minutes walk, super cycling and walking on your doorstep. The most fantastic food at every turn. Jazz festival & cycling event in July. What more can you say - it is a super place.
Best & worst: The best part was the view and location. The worst part was the parking - a 15 minute limit to leave the car outside the apartment (if you find a space!) with a difficult elevator/door combination to negociate to get your bags upstairs. The parking was 15 minutes walk away, so I'd say that unlike us, this is an easy apartment for a couple of suitcases rather than a car full of claptrap with a couple of kids!
Improvements: Greet the guests at the carpark and walk them to the apartment - I would say this would be easier for all concerned.
