this was the perfect house for our family to rent with 4 teenagers ages 14, 15, 17 21. location was terrific and look forward to renting again. Only downside was the smell of the water. Neighbors were very friendly. Sheets and towels is all we needed. House was totally equipped.
Very neat and clean. Lots of space. :) -

The house was enormous! Very clean...The location was perfect...sleeping at night with the slider open was amazing...seeing the lake from the bed at night was so beautiful. The kids had a great time on the private beach and jumping off the dock...they loved how it was so close to the sandbar.

Everything went well, just a couple concerns. First you may want to speak to housekeeping, my wife had to sweep the kitchen floor it was real dirty. Second one of the beds had fresh urin on it, it appeared the former people his it by placing a fresh sheet on the bed and leaving a not on the bed that the bed were never used. I must say the rental agent did everything it could to solve the problem thay sent a cleaning agent out to clean the bed. Things were ok after that.
We had a great time and will rent the place again. I would recommend the agency.

Beverly, MAIt took a few days to start enjoying the house
Left on 06/18/2009 for a stay in August 2008
I prefer Moultonboro on Lake Winnipesaukee but we could not find a suitable house there for last summer so we relocated to the smaller Lake Winnisquam. Overall we preferred Lake Winnipesaukee due to it's quaint small town feel yet the offerings of a very large lake. Lake Winnisquam is a much smaller lake and does not offer much in the way of boat exploration into interesting nooks and crannies. For the kids to waterski we could only make a straight line up and back - not too exciting. The refrigerator froze up the first day we arrived but the rental company was very responsive in fixing the problem in a timely manner. The location of the house was extremely convenient for direct lake access yet it was right across from the main road and bridge which was extremely noisy at night when the trucks passed over the bridge. Using the bedroom air conditioner helped to mute the noise but that prevented enjoying the refreshing night breezes. A large sandbar was right in front of the house and this is where most of the recreational boaters congregated on weekend days and disbanded by sundown. The houses were clustered extremely close together so there was not much privacy when sitting on the back deck. Another problem was that there seemed to be a water tank misfunction and the water had a terrible smell to it. We used only bottled water for all drinking and cooking needs. The house was well laid out with a huge open room on the second floor. The kids hung out there and totally enjoyed having their own private area. It was perfect for them. Laundry on the second floor living space was extremely convenient. The house was situated in an area that was close to a lot of suburban type shopping which would suit a lot of needs - I prefer to get out of suburbia on my vacation but the teenagers felt it was close to everything to suit their needs. The Tilton outlets were close by which is appealing to a lot of people. By the end of the week everyone had had fun.
