Very beautiful and comfortable house. Completly stocked with everything imiagable. Location is perfect. Comfortable beds and 2 laundry rooms, what a great idea. Pool made a gurgling sound. Call maintance for 3 days but noone came out. Also asked for the fireplace to be accessable, but still, noone responded. It was down in the 30 and 40's at night. Fireplace would have been nice to have. Neighbors were horrible. Need a privacy blind on the porch to block the view from the house next door. It was strange having people stare at you.

Thank you so much for leaving a review and we are thrilled that you enjoyed how well stocked the kitchen is and all of the other great touches around the home. We will look into the blinds; however, it is hard to have something like that due to the high winds that come off of the beach. Please note that the neighbors are not there all of the time and they just visit throughout the year. We haven't had any additional complaints about them at all. I spoke with maintenance and also checked the call records but we could not find where you had called the emergency maintenance number or the office to report any issues. I definitely apologize that they were not resolved and we will look into them immediately. Thank you again for leaving a review and we hope to have you back again soon!

Beautiful House in the Miramar area east past the Whale's Tail. Huge Master Suite with a balcony overlooking the beach. Master Suite is bigger than 2 Master BRs put together.
Destin Getaways reps were very nice and helpful.
It may not look like it, but the Pros definitely outweighed the Cons.
Pros:
> House - Great House, well furnished
> Location - about 20 minutes to the Harbor Docks area in Destin and about 20 minutes to the Water Colors area.
> Right on the beach
> Complimentary beach chairs
Cons:
> Pool - small 5' x 9' pool was not cleaned and pump was not running. Sand all over, dragonflies floating, film on surface, etc. Pool guy came the day we were leaving, but it was just about useless for our stay.
> Complimentary beach chairs - only useful if they are set up and ours weren't the first couple of days.
> Minor aesthetics - Paint peeling off wall, cracked tiles, support column trim actually looks like Styrofoam with chunks missing.
> Limited supplies - One set of towels and one roll of Toilet Paper per bathroom. While this may be a rental standard or something, this house is not a standard rental. If you have a premium rental at a premium cost, the commodities should be reflective of that. Having to go to the store because there isn't enough TP is unacceptable...and we were a small group. If the profit margin is that tight, add $15 to the rental fee and leave a 24 pack on the table. Seriously!

This was the perfect venue for a small wedding and reception. We wanted a place that was directly on the beach but large enough to hold the wedding indoors if raining. The house is absolutely beautiful! The private beach accommodated the wedding service and the open living area of the beautifully appointed home was perfect for the intimate reception. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware, appliances, and utensils. We had 45 guests, beautiful weather, and a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this rental and Crye Leike. We will use both again.

Gulf Paradise is very centrally located & being right on the beach was wonderful. Great house-we did have a few maintenance issues. Ice maker only worked 1 day after we got there. We called maintenance listed in the paperwork, someone came, checked it & said he would get approval to come & repair it the next day. He never returned. Also, several burners on the stove did not work. Since we didn't cook too much, this really wasn't a problem. The electrical plugs on the island & outside on the deck did not work. We reported these the day we left. Rattan rugs in main area could use a good cleaning- a little grungy.

I would definitely recommend Gulf Paradise. The house is right on the beach, very close to Outlet and grocery stores (walking distance) and centrally located to other activities. G.P. was spacious, comfortable, safe and had more than enough room for 11 of us. Having direct access to the beach from your back door was great. 4 beach chairs included were definitely a plus and were set up for you each day. An added bonus was 1 free daily round of golf. Our stay was definitely worth it and we would go back without hesitation.

I have been to Destin several times over the years and stayed at various other condo's and homes, but I have to say this house was beautiful. You can tell when first entering this home, that the owners really love this house and made sure that however stays will feel the same. This house was decorated very elegantly, yet you felt very comfortable walking in from the beach. It was as if you were home. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook any type of meal that my friends wanted. Outside was a gas grill that looked brand new and cooked well. This house is right on the beach you just walk outside, it was beautiful and peaceful. I could not believe the location it was within walking distance from the outlet mall, grocery store and not far from other shopping areas. I would highly recommend this house to all of my friends and plan on going back again this year and next.

My family, guests and myself were all blown away by this amazing home!
We were very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the home, and felt pampered with the high-end furnishings, persian rugs, full beautiful kitchen and the pristine beach. The location of the home was perfect! It was just a 5 minute walk to the outlet mall, grocery store, Starbucks, and various restaurants.
Destingetaways were great and very responsive. Gulf Paradise is very bright and open and the views of the beach were so relaxing. This was the best beach vacation we have ever taken. It just does not get any better than this!!!

The house was great, the location was perfect. My family had a great time. Your company was very professional, and easy to work with.
The only trouble we had was the grill was unusable, and we do like to cook out. The downstairs bedroom window leaks very bad every time it rains. -

A truly serene house and location, absolutely fabulous, extremely clean, comfortably furnished, great for family gatherings or vacations on your own. A large and comfortable house with an excellent kitchen, but the view from the huge back porch overlooking the Miramar Beach is what makes Gulf Paradise a very special place. We stayed a week with old friends and couldn't have been more pleased. A short walk to the ocean, everything is close by and Sandestin is gorgeous.

My family and I really loved this rental home. There were only two things needed changed. The TV in the livingroom has poor color even after we tried to change the color and the second thing is they need to get a new gas grill. I would stay at this home again!

We spent Thanksgiving week in Gulf Paradise. It is a gorgeous home. Myself my two sisters and our families including two grandmas were there. There was plenty of room for everyone and we were all comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked our Turkey dinner and we all had plenty of room. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are very nice and spacious. The house has high ceilings, is new and very well kept. The pool is heated and was very nice for small children. The weather was great the whole week ( NOV). The house is a 5 minute walk to the outlet mall, resturants, pharmacy, and grocery store. The beach is perfect and you can watch the kids from the balcony. It is very elegantly furnished. We loved the home and we will go every year.

This is our second year staying at this home. It is a beautiful home with a great lay out, great kitchen, fabulous bedrooms and baths! Pool is small and needs to have extra decking around for lounge chairs. The refrigerator had a broken shelf, and the wine cooler from the previous year was missing. It is in a great location! Will probably stay there again next year, if they take care of the missing and broken amenities.

While there were a couple of small items that were problematic (door handles and door locks), the overall appearance and features of the location were outstanding. There was a complaining neighbor next door that hasd issues with the fact that there was "yet another wedding" there, and made his displeasure known to us. He claimed that he was going to contact the county regarding the owner and realty company and file a complaint that there were too many events held there, which disrupted his relaxation every weekend.

the service was great
the house is so beautiful it made my wedding day perfect for me.my guests loved it. being able to walk right out onto the beach was wonderful, it was like being at home only we were away from home. the only thing i would change is the size of the pool and the amount of towels,wash cloths and linens there was not ample enough for my party of 15 that stayed there.
if you want to do something grand for your family and/or friends Gulf Paradise is the place to do it!!!! -

We had a great time in Destin at Gulf Paradise. The house was every thing we were hoping it would be and the beach was as good as we have ever been on. This is a great location to spend time and have fun. The employees at Crye-Leike were helpful and alway polite. We are planning on using your services again and have already recommended you to many of our friends here in Houston.

GREAT location!! We took out whole family....all 17 of us (which includes 6
little boys under 6 yrs old). This was the PERFECT house. It was great to walk
right out the door to the beach. The pool on the deck worked out wonderfully
for the little ones...I would soooo recommend this house. It is beautiful, right
on the beach, just around the corner from the grocery store and across from
the outlet mall. Our teenagers had a great time. The Gulf Paradise home was
just as described!!! -

This house was absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. We got married here and it was one of the best decisions! Very nicely furnished and comfy. The only negative was that the pool was not heated so it was too cold to get in. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

We had a 4 families go in together to rent this property, ages 1-50. The house is so spacious that we did not get in eachother's way. One evening there were 12 of us preparing dinner in the kitchen at the same time..plenty of room. The stove is awesome. Each room was private with it's own bathroom which worked out perfect. The view from up and down stairs was breath taking! The pool was perfect for the little ones who could not stay on the beach all day.

We stayed here with our adult children and their spouses and our granddaughter. It was the perfect place for us because we all love the beach. We could just walk right out and get into our chairs!!It is also close to shopping and Baytown Wharf, so there was plenty to do if we got tired of the sun. The only things I would recommend is that the deck furniture and grill need to be updated, and the wine cooler may need to be serviced, not a big deal but with such a nice place it is almost a must! We will definitely stay here again!

We recently spent a week in July at Gulf Paradise. The home was very spacious with all the modern conveniences of home. It was in close proximity to all the best restaurants, outlet malls (important for rainy days) and the grocery store is right around the corner.
The house is located on a very quiet street and right on the beach. It was so relaxing and the view of the emerald coast was beautiful!
There is a splash pool on the deck, it wasn't very big but good enough for kids who might not like the waves or sand (anyone with a two year old knows what I am talking about.)
I highly recommend Gulf Paradise as a vacation rental. We have been coming to Destin for 10 years and this has been by far the nicest property we have rented.

This is a beautiful house but the ice maker, wine cooler and internet did not work. The living room and upstairs master tvs also did not work but we were able to make some adjustments and fix the living room tv ourselves. We called many times and repair men were finally sent over a couple of times but nothing was repaired to working order. By the end of the week, I finally found a wire not plugged in for the wireless internet ( it was a jumble of wires hanging out of the wall ). So I finally got that working myself. Glass shelves in the refrigerator and freezer were missing which made it hard to store enough food for our guests. When you spend almost $10,000 for the week you expect the appliances to work. The property mgmt for this home needs to be replaced. We will not be renting from them again.
