Victoria, CanadaA much welcomed luxury for 6 cyclists
Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Our trip down from B.C. by bicycles was made so much more memorable by the excellent places we stayed. This little gem in Sandpoint was such a perfect fit for our group. We all enjoyed comfortable separate beds and the snorers thankfully had thier own rooms. Sit on the front porch and be sociable or relax on the peaceful back deck like we did and unwind from the ride.

This is the second time we've spent our Winter vacation staying at the Lake Street Cottage in Sandpoint, Idaho. We located in on-line and made reservations for a stay in February 2011, loved it so much that we again made our reservations for this February 2012. The cottage is well maintained, has plenty of comfortable space, wonderful ammenities, and is within walking distance to plenty of shopping, restaurants, the lake/beaches, etc.
We haven't been able to coordinate our schedules with the Cottage's available Summer rental dates but we plan to work on making that happen some day. Since the Cottage is so close to the lake and it's beaches, it's the perfect place to stay during that time of the year. As well, the Cottage has bikes available to ride all around the town which is not only pedestrian friendly, but bike friendly too. Even though owners Jim & Paula Davy do not live in the immediate area, they have a great caretaker who is only a phone call away and able to take care of anything thing needed concerning the Cottage. If you're lucky enough to make reservations here, you won't be disappointed! -

This was such a wonderful experience. Close to downtown, the house is spacious, beautifully furnished and provided everything and more than we possibly needed. We especially enjoyed eating in the garden under the shade of the magnificient willow tree and being able to relax and know that our two dogs were safe in the fenced back garden. This was better than any hotel stay and one we will definitely repeat. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful and charming cottage!

We stayed here with our children ages 1, 3 and 7. This is our second year at this house, and couldn't have been happier with our week. The home is awesome and has everything that you could think of doing, and then some. It's a very short walk to the beach and to our favorite downtown restaurants and shops. I can't overstate the attention to detail and pride of ownership displayed by this rental property.

In the middle of a very heavy snowstorm, we moved from unacceptable lodgings to this clean, and comfortable cottage. We found everything we needed to cook and relax in style after long, wonderful days on Schweitzer Mountain, skiing. Great beds, bright, pretty rooms and space to spread out.

My wife and I traveled to Sandpoint to ski at Schweitzer - and Paula really came through for us. The home we were originally going to stay at had a leaking roof and although we contacted Paula late that evening - she was able to rent to us at the last minute. It saved our trip - so thanks!
Regarding the home - it is a great little place easily within walking distance of downtown and several places to shop and eat. The corner location is great. Things were clean and the internet/cable all worked great. Thanks again. -

Bend, ORBest place in Sandpoint.

Your home in Sandpoint is wonderful. I've been renting on Vrbo for several years now all over the Oregon Coast, Northern California and now in Sandpoint and your home is by far the cleanest, well stocked, beautifully decorated and comfortable home I've rented. The location can't be beat. It truly is a jem. We will without a doubt be contacting you when we plan our next trip to Sandpoint.
