Sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms, this semi-detached cottage is in the village of Sandsend, 2.5 miles from Whitby. Puzzle Corner is a cosy semi-detached cottage in Sandsend near Whitby. There is a double room and two twin rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with dining area, dining room and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside is roadside parking, a small yard with furniture, and the beach is just a two minute walk away. Puzzle Corner is ideally placed for enjoying time in Sandsend village, heading down the coast into Whitby or even venturing inland onto the dramatic Yorkshire Moors.

Amenities: Gas central heating with ele...ctric fire in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking outside cottage. Small rear courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub and shop 5 mins walk. Beach 2 mins walk. Note: Mobile phone reception can be limited in Sandsend. Note: Between 1st May – 30th September dogs are not allowed on the parade section of the beach. Guests can use steps around 350 yards from the cottage to reach the extensive dog friendly area during this period.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Sandsend is a popular coastal village just 2.5 miles from Whitby. Sandsend has a long sandy beach, a shop and pub. The Cleveland Way trail runs through the village, and the Yorkshire Moors are easily reached.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Welcome box was much appreciated, good location, good size property, in nice condition. Dog room/porch was very useful. Very dissapointed about no garden even though lead to believe the property had one. Garden path to porch and garden path at the back of the property, in my opinion does not make a garden!
