Scranton, PaQuiet, Beautiful, and well maintained
Left on 08/17/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We enjoyed our stay at this home for a week in early august. The house was really well maintained, plenty of kitchen appliances, and tableware. The views of the ocean were great too. There were a few good food options nearby, and the town of Sandwich itself is a treat. The bars do close at 1am though, and the ones closest to this house were pretty much empty during the week. It was great being so close to Provincetown and Salem though and it made daytripping to Martha's Vineyard a breeze. However the beach is very rocky. I know people have said things to this effect, but I mean its so rocky that there is almost no sand. Its like walking over a really smooth loose cobblestone road. We did not spend more than 20 minutes at this beach and ended up going to beachs in other cities. If you are looking for a great place on the cape though, and not worried about driving or beach access I would recommend this house.

Sand Dollar was just awesome to work with. House was great! We just happened to pick the week when low tide was early morning or around suppertime, but other than that, perfect all around! Even the rocky beach can't stop us from going to Sandwich!!! We'll be back next year. Can't wait!

Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This vacation was all about family, fun, and history. The
location of the beach house has easy access to Boston, Salem, Plymouth, and of course the Cape. The color of the rocks on the beach were unbelievable and beautiful. Watching the sail boats on the deck was relaxing and fascinating at the same time. The beach house was filled with charm and made us feel at home. The most amazing part of the vacation was the majestic sunsets in the evenings. We will definately be back! -

Our stay in Sandwich was lovely. The home we rented was affordable and the location ideal. The home is light and airy with a newly remodeled kitchen and 3 roomy bedrooms. We spent our days exploring cape cod (despite the rain) and our evenings sitting in the dining room or living room enjoyng our temporary "home". It was clean and comfortable and you cannot beat being a stones throw from the beach. We have used Sand Dollar Realty before and will definately use them next summer.

Syracuse, NYGreat vacation house!
Left on 07/29/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The inside of this house was
wonderful, recently renovated, perfectly decorated for a great vacation at the
beach. It had all the amenities that we were looking for (washer & dryer, a/c
and internet access), plus it was just a great house. We are a family of 4, and
both kids loved having their own room with lots of space. The location was
great as far as being close to everything. We walked across the street to
Hemisphere restaurant for dinner, over to the canal for long walks. Seafood
Sams and the Fish Market are very close. All within walking distance.
Downtown shopping is just a short drive away too.
The only downfall for us was the beach. The closest beach (right across the
street) is a very rocky public beach, so if you're used to private, sandy
beaches, this may not be the best place for you. But... you can always drive to
better beaches, which we ended up doing several times. All in all, a terrific
experience. -

Great for big family
Left on 08/13/2008 for a stay in August 2008
We rented this superb house for one week in August 2008. It's very well located just across the street from the beach. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our three children were very imprest to be so near the canal were huge boats were passing. We highly recommend this "Cape Cod Style" house.

Beautiful Home
Left on 07/23/2008 for a stay in July 2008
Beautiful home looks like new inside and out. Only has one living room not 2 as in the description. The phone was shut off so DSL was not available. The beach is part of the canal so there was very little sand and a lot of rocks which made using the beach difficult. Lot of things to do in the area.

Bonnie, we appologize for the 2 livingrooms on the listing. Before the recent remodel, there was a second livingroom upstairs that they have now incorporated into the new bedrooms. The listing sheet had not been fixed to include the change. There is also another beach at the end of the road with a boardwalk and less rocks if you stay in the Town Neck area again. Thank you for your review.
