Description from the owner
This one bedroom condo is within a few steps of the beach and has terrific views of the Gulf of Mexico from the lanai. Well appointed, it was recently remodeled and refurbished, it has a beautiful large-tile floor and designer furniture. The custom shower is oversized and a walk-in. The king sized master bed is extremely comfortable and coupled with the nightly breezes through the doorwall will provide a quiet nights sleep. Together with the queen size sleeper sofa, our condo will sleep four. The kitchen has everything necessary to provide a large family meal and is equipped with all major appliances.

We have stayed at the Sundial in different condos over the last 10-15 years. Typically we are there to attend meetings held at the conference center, but lately we have come back for vacations and to see our son who works in Naples.
We were happy to find I-304 on our last visit to Sanibel and the Sundial. This condo is lovely, with very comfortable furniture and ambiance. And the owners have games and books for guests who may want to spend time in the condo, plus beach toys for younger children. Looking out to the beach and ocean every morning from our balcony while enjoying our coffee is a special treat.
My husband played golf on the island at reasonable rates (in august) and I walked the beach and rode my bike everyday.

As grandparents, we travelled to Sanibel Island with our 11 year old granddaughter who absolutely loved the beach and collecting numerous shells. She was able to make friends easily and had a great time playing at the pools. We enjoyed the shell museums, nature centers, and rehabilitation centers to visit during the week. Would recommend this condo again.

Well, it's almost time to pack our bags and head back to the snow in Kansas City, but we just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our holiday in you condo. It's a great spot and a perfect location to get to everything. We helped the economy of Sanibel Island a bit by visiting many of the restaurants you recommended and a bunch of shops including finding a couple of great Christmas music boxes at Baileys.
For breakfast we tried the Lighthouse, Over Easy and Island Cow and a couple of others and really liked the first two. For lunch Cheeburger Cheeburger, Doc Fords and Grandma Dots. Dinner included Mucky Ducks for the sunset Saturday night, Matzaluna, Great White for pizza and Doc Fords, which was our favorite. And Pinocchios was a great spot for ice cream!
Jerry's Market had everthing we needed to fill your brand new refrigerator and the colorful birds were a nice bonus.
We also took the Seminole Gulf Railway Murder Mystery train ride and had a surprisingly good dinner and good fun. We also enjoyed the Edison / Ford Winter Home, which stayed open late for the Christmas Lights. We also enjoyed the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village which was a great spot to pick up the local history.
The J.N. "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge was a great place to spend an afternoon. We visited at low tide and got to see lots of varieties of birds feeding and even got close to an alligator enjoying the warm sun.
With all the sight seeing and just watching the water we still managed to find time to take some great naps listening to the birds and waves.
Thanks for your kindness in allowing us to share your Florida home. The photos on the website were a perfect representation of you great condo. -

The unit and complex were perfect. Every employee waved, said hello, opened the elevator door and just added to the visit. Beach was sandy and beautiful. Stepping from the beach to the pool to the condo and late night walks with my baby made for a wonderful trip. We rented bikes from Billy's and rode them everywhere... mostly for ice cream at Pinocchio's (offset the workout... but worth it!!!) If your a tennis person this is the place and if your a golfer than Beach View is .5 or less miles away! Unit was clean and updated with just the right amount of cookware. Next time I'll use the grills but we went out every dinner and had a ball! I love it when we leave a place and my wife and daughter are crying and asking to stay! Ken and Kathi we Vrbo a lot (look for my reviews of the eateries on yelp, trip and urbanspoon) and you have a wonderful place in a wonderful spot of the world! N

The apartment was very comfortable and well furnished and equipped to a high standard. It was very close to the beach and it was great to be able to walk along the beach at sunset, and sometimes seeing dolphins swimming close to the shore.
