Sanibel Island is accessible by a causeway from Ft Myers. Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft Myers is twenty six miles via an easy well marked route. The condo is in Pointe Santo de Sanibel Condominium complex which is directly beach front on the Gulf of Mexico, on West Gulf Drive, and at the southernmost point of Sanibel Island. The nearest intersection is West Gulf Drive at Tarpon Bay Rd. Baileys Supermarket Shopping Center and Periwinkle Way are just one mile from Pointe Santo. There you will find countless restaurants, boutiques, a pharmacy, and two supermarkets.

My husband and I had an fabulous, relaxing time staying at this condo. Most importantly, the beds are of excellent quality. The condo is in the Pointe Santo development which is on a terrific shelling beach. The sunsets from the beach were exquisite!! Being on the ground floor there are only a few steps from the parking space to the condo. The condo is located in a convenient place within the complex and is very quiet ! It is convenient to the beach, tennis courts, to the exit and to the swimming pool/jacuzzi. Stores and restaurants are only a short drive away. Other than going out to eat a few times and a visit to the Wildlife refuge, we hardly left the condo as it was so wonderful!!

These wonderful guests are indeed professional chefs. After reading their comment about the kitchen not being well enough equipped, we went out and corrected that. You will find Henkel knives, cookie sheets, tools for the grill, waffle iron, stainless steel pots and pans, and everything we could think of to make it better.

Sanibel is heaven on earth! These accommodations were more than we hoped for...there was plenty of room for three adults and one child. Everything we needed was included...washer/dryer, full kitchen, beach toys, games, flat panel TV and a beautiful lenai. Short walk to the pool and beach...close to grills, lots to do on the island from shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, beaching and shelling. We loved our vacation and are planning another trip next year to the same condo! I give this condo five stars out of five!
