The view from the lanai is a quiet lush garden. The unit is equipped with your every need! Just a quick walk to both beach and pool! Upgrades include new carpeting throughout the living and master bedroom areas. There are shells to pick up, sunrises to see and a world renowned bird sanctuary and shell museum to visit.

This condo was acceptable in appointments but they need to do something about the squeaky plumbing. We had trouble with the legs on the love seat always falling off.Since we were just glad to have place for the remainder of our stay we hate to be too critical.

Sanibel Siesta has been our home away from home every November for 4 to 7 nights for the last 25 or so years. We love the location of the Sanibel Siesta as it is in the middle of all areas of the Island. We go for the weather and the beach which is very close. Inside the Unit 105 which is beautifully decorated as a seashore home. All of the amenities of your home are right in this Unit. When arriving at Sanibel Siesta we are greeted by a very friendly staff at the office. We are given a starter kit of soap detergent, dishwasher soap and paper towels ,bags and toilet paper. The Unit has a tv in the living room as well as one in the master bedroom. I think the only thing we were not thrilled with were the beach chairs. Being from a beach community ourselves in NJ we like a certain chair and are able to borrow it from friends who live on the island . The weather in November is usually wonderful but sometimes the beach is too windy so we go to the beautiful pool. Sanibel Siesta in our minds is the only place to stay on the island. We especially like Unit 105. Also the availability of an elevator for those who might want to avail themselves of it. It helps in carrying suitcases up and down. We will hope again to be able in November to enjoy the wonderful Unit 105 and will be reserving as soon as we know dates of vacation. I thought that we would also add that it is the best value on the island two bedrooms and two bathrooms for a fee less than that of the neighboring hotel room.
