The condo was under maintained, under equipped in the kitchen, and had very poor and worn out mattresses on the beds. These issues detracted from a very pleasant location and placement.

Check in was very informative and easy. Everybody we dealt with from S.S. was very friendly and helpful. There were four adults in our party and we were very surprised at the room and openness of our condo. It was very clean and felt like home within minutes of our arrival. It seemed very personal and not like a lot of the cardboard cutouts we have experienced in our travels. Our plan was to try several different restaurants while on Sanibel, but we liked it "right at home" so only went out one night. We used the convenient gas grills almost every night and had our meals out on the full length screened in lanai. The beach was huge and beautiful. Everything about our Sanibel Siesta condo was just as advertised, except the kitchen, which was much more fully equipped than one would expect in a rental. All the appliances, tvs, etc. worked properly and the beds were very comfortable. Sanibel Siesta will definitely be our first choice when we plan another trip to that area. My recommendation is that you book as early as possible.
