We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights. We were a large group of families and friends that occupied 14 units in the same location. This unit has very comfortable, had everything we needed, enough silwareware, plates, cooking utensils, pans, towels, etc. Large appliances need to be changed (kitchen is old and dishwasher has most of the pins broken so can't put plates on lower basket. Decoration is "beach theme". It is OK, but some of the other apartments are more modern and didn't overdo it with the wallpaper). The table only sits 4. (I would suggest removing the shelves and replacing it with a table for 6, like all other units). I would definitely come back, but would ask first if appliances were replaced.

This unit is the best! First, Sanibel Siesta is conveniently located, has a beautiful beach, and is away from noisy Periwinkle. From this unit (1st level above the garage) you see sunrise on Ft. Myers beach. In the facing building you receive the hot brilliant west sunset - not for me. Accomodations could not be better. Management provides beach supplies in your private garage. You can check out tennis equipment from the front desk. A large barbecue grill let us smell others' dinner for the night. Yum!
The unit is a good size and nicely laid out. The lanai was our favorite room - relaxing, watching beach, playing cards. We did have one small problem with the refrigerator. The previous tenant adjusted the fan so that there was no cooling in the refrigerator, only the freezer. This was discovered after hours - fixed within 2 hours of our call.
I also highly recommend Sensible Car rental in Ft. Myers. Check out their website. This operation is top notch. Their rates are great, pick you up as soon as your luggage is available, have two locations for convenience, and have great friendly service. With Sensible Car rental you don't have to pay airport fees - a real plus. Off season rates are incredibly low - as low as $150 per week. Can't beat that!
